First time at Vietalia Kitchen on a Friday night. It is a very small place with 7 tables to sit and eat at the restaurant. It was pretty warm inside the restaurant; however very clean. We decided to go with the Vietnamese dishes tonight. I ordered pho tai and my friend ordered the chicken banh mi sandwich. The pho broth was very good, lots of flavor. The banh mi was also quite tasty. The French bread was a little dry, but still good. The bathroom was very clean and modern. We will be back to try the Italian style food.

Everything came out fresh and piping hot. The banh mi was delicious, though I wish there was a bit more filling for the amount of bread. The curry was nicely seasoned and the chicken was tender. The egg rolls were incredible, I could eat them all day every day and die happy. The carbonara was very creamy with lots of bacon and chicken. I like that they added grilled onions and peppers to it. I had a Vietnamese coconut coffee, it was light on the coconut flavor but still very good. 10/10 flavor on each thing I tried

A pretty sad experience overall. I came in the summer and the A.C. wasn't working. Or maybe they just left it off to save money. I was sweating like a pig in there. The employee was rude, especially when I asked for a refill of water (is that really so hard?). I was going to order pho, but it was way too hot in there for that. I went with the char-grilled chicken vermicelli ($8) instead. It was fresh and the chicken was nicely grilled. It was a big portion, so I took half of it to-go. My friend had a pasta dish, which looked nasty. Since the employees are all Vietnamese, I recommend sticking to the Vietnamese food. I was in the mood for something interesting, so I also tried the avocado smoothie. Yeah, it was gross. A weird taste: avocado but too sweet. Some chunks weren't blended enough, yuck. Anyway, my main meal was good but I wouldn't come back.

My half eaten Carbonara (I forgot to take the pic when it first arrived). It was so good!

I was skeptical at first thinking this was an Italian Vietnamese fusion place but as I looked at the menu online, I saw that it serves both cuisines. My husband loves Vietnamese food and I love Italian. On paper, this checked all the boxes. We arrived, ordered and food came pretty quick. I have to say that the Pasta Carbonara I ordered was delicious! Grilled fresh veggies with chicken and linguini and Alfredo sauce. Yummy! My husband got the banh mi and spring rolls and enjoyed both! We ordered a cheese pizza for my son. Also yummy! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

I got the spring rolls, garlic bread, egg rolls, and pork banh mi. Everything was great! When I go back again I will definitely get the spring rolls and banh mi.

When you walk in, you are greeted by tables, a menu with missing prices, and a splash of vietnamese culture. In honesty, this is definitely a whole in the wall type of place. Having to choose between Viet food and Italian food was quite hard, but my friend and I both had Italian food. Next time I come, I'll definitely try the Vietnamese food and update this review. Food: 4/5 The Chicken Alfredo I had was pretty good, with the chicken being very moist and delicious. I wish I had some more noodles, however, cause that chicken was asking for some more noodles to eat with it. Overall, it was pretty good. My friend got the classic lasagna and that was also pretty decent. The ricotta cheese and beef combine for a great bite and my friend was pleased with her choice. For its price, I'd say it was pretty good. Since this is a more of a to-go place, it's mostly they serve you and that's it. That being said, the vietnamese woman and man gave us extra bread and brought the food out to us. It was a pleasant touch. Overall, I will definitely come back to try the viet food. It's a place I am glad I tried since it is so close to UTA. As a UTA student, this place is good and about a 5 min drive from campus. Check this place out!

The mister and I had dinner here after our fun date at the park. I wish this place was around when I was in college! they could have taken most of my student loans from me eating here...just sayin! I had lemongrass beef banh mi. You could get the sandwich alone or combo of fries and a drink. I wish they had other options for a side instead of just fries but it was okay. Fries were good and crunchy. They were fresh! I didnt think it went with the banh mi but college students would eat anything. Prices are reasonable! $3 for a sandwich and 2.50 more for fries and drink! thats just $6 for a whole meal! thats a good deal! the mister had the blacken penne pasta. That was delicious!!! had a kick! little spicy and the sauce was so good! if you eat there, they give you french bread with butter. Save some bread so you can dip it in the sauce! YUM!!!! I will be back! :) This is not a fusion place. They serve both Vietnamese and Italian food.

If you want to dive face first into a tasty, comforting bowl of phở, look no further. I admit I haven't managed to eat all the way through this menu, but their beef phở (whether it's the rare steak, flank, tendon, fatty brisket, meatballs, or all the above) is so incredibly delicious, I just can't seem to move on--especially when it's cooler weather or my allergies are acting up or... Just whenever, okay? Seriously, the broth is fragrant and delicious and the side of jalapeños, Thai basil, bean sprouts, and onions are always fresh. I particularly enjoy it with a pot of jasmine tea. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive no matter how busy it gets. I think it's much easier to walk around in the current location versus their previous one (that had lots of family style seating). It's hard for me to drive past Phở Pasteur without stopping for a bite. I definitely recommend it.

One of the best known viet pho & banh mi place in Arlington…read more Their beef rib pho is the most well known, as it comes with sliced meat & a super soft and tender beef rib. I also love their fried egg roll, flavor is extremely authentic and they fry them fresh to order. Patience is sometimes needed when it comes to service, as they are a small ESL business, but they do their best to seat & serve you as quick as possible. There's plenty of seating but since they close at 7 PM everyday, they do get a rush of customers right around 6 PM. I really liked how clean their tables are and how they provide sanitizer wipes at each table, very comfy vibes.

Years later, I am back to working in Arlington and recently finally made it to Ba Le. I know they are known for their sandwichies, and I dint know you could order them off the deli counter instead of ordering them from the sit-down restaurant. The first time i went, I ordered a sandwich and a noodle dish. The sandwich was the first thing that came out; it was hot, like right off the oven, hot! The sandwich had lots of pate, and the meat was well-seasoned but not as good at the one from Saigon Deli (that's my ride or die for Vietnamese sandwiches). Next time I go, I will try a different sandwich. During this visit, I had a noodle dish,h and it was good, nothing amazing (i think it was the lemon grass beef). Really good. I went and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated. They have an iPad to check in, and that's how they know the order to seat people. The service was fast since they are really busy every day. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms when I went. On my second visit, is when I tried the Pho, and I am hooked. I tried the combination pho and it was everything like the pictures show! When I tried the brooth I could tell they really go big on the spices that make up the broth, star anise, cloves, cardamom and everything else. I really enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can see what all the hype is about, but for my pho i usually go to Pho 95. I did try the Vietnamese coffee, and even tho i asked for it to be extra sweet, it was not sweet enough. Since then, I been on a Vietnamese coffee kick and I can't stop haha. I need to start making my way to this restaurant more often.
