Great place for lunch! Inexpensive and high quality. I liked the Firecracker Shrimp, elongated (although still rather small) shrimp wrapped in thin spring roll wrappers and deep fried. Served with a spicy curry-style sauce (save the sauce for your spring rolls that come with your lunch). The Lemongrass Beef was really good. You can have it with rice and two small fried spring rolls or on top of a bowl of thin noodles. I recommend just getting the plate. Along with a few brands of Asian two dollar beer, Viet Pho offers a terrific lunch for a good price. read more

I just had my first experience at Viet Pho, and it was fantastic. I moved to Denver after nearly a decade spent living and working in Philadelphia's Chinatown. I had many a meal in Vietnamese restaurants there, including Vietnam and Vietnam Palace, famous competing restaurants that I loved. I've had some disappointing Vietnamese cuisine in Denver since moving here. Places either had dishes that were too plain or dishes that were brimming in preservatives and sodium. Viet Pho does it right. My combination vermicelli bowl was fresh, flavorful and tasty. The accompanying sauce was light and had the right balance of vinegars and sugars to complement my noodles and vegetables. The meats were cooked to perfection, infused with the essence of fish sauce, sugars and whatever other magical spices they marinate them in to get such a delightful flavor. My mom dined with me, and her curry dish was phenomenal. She was raving about it even after we got home... and she knows her curry dishes! Viet Pho's staff have created a dish that is the ideal balance of curry and coconut milk - not too strong, not too light. The staff were so kind to us. I've been here several times, and each time it's been really solid albeit simple Vietnamese food. The couple that run it are very nice. Pho was excellent as were the spring rolls and beef jerky. I've also ordered to go several times, and it's always packed to perfection. I especially appreciate that I placed an order very close to closing and they had no problem getting to it instead of saying "sorry we close in 15 minutes." My favorite lunch spot in Lone Tree! Both the food and owners are amazing! Hang and Bi knew my name and favorite dish in the first month or so of visiting several times. They treat me like family! Love the Pho, Seasame chicken, Spring rolls, drunken noodles, and curry dishes. I bring friends and family here and everyone loves it. No MSG and GF! Everything is fresh and delicious! Absolutely delicious! I ate here for the first time only a few days ago and I am ready to head back. We ordered the hotpot and I cannot even tell you how delicious the broth was, plus they had vegetarian options. I was the only vegetarian in the group and the owner was so nice about making sure that I was not left out! Another poster on here has said that they don't have vegetarian pho, but the owner offered to make me some so maybe this is a new development? The veggies were all crisp and freshly cut, and while I'm not a huge tofu fan, it was delicious when cooked in the hotpot. The price of entrees was reasonable, clean, quiet atmosphere, and great food! Try the Egg Roll Bun (I think its pronounced boon?). It is light, healthy and full of flavor. In the land of Chain Restaurants this is a true treasure of a find. I eat here at least once a month and have never ever been disappointed. Hang and Bi, the owners, are the nicest and most attentive hosts. Hang always greets you and remembers what you like and need to make the meal individually perfect. I have ordered various things off the menu and each is delicious. I encourage the reviewer who had a negative experience to try it again. It is difficult to have a successful restaurant and compete with chain establishments. Rent is high in Lone Tree which is why there is a paucity of independent eateries. Big fan of this place. The people who own and run it are very personable and treat us very well. The place is small and gets packed during lunch hour. Being that I lived in Vietnam a couple years back, I am pleased with their dishes. Ordered take out from here as our son was sick but from the looks of the decor it's simple clean nothing too extravagant and didn't scream Viet with all the canvas Pictures hung on the wall. That being said, people come for food and not how a place is furnished. We ordered the egg rolls and the fire cracker shrimp for appetizer. Egg rolls were nothing special but not bad. The shrimp were pretty tasty and the sauce had a nice kick to it. My wife had the grilled shrimp noodle bowl and was satisfied with it, along with the steak brisket tendon pho. They were good according to her but nothing mind blowing. Definitely tasted better than the Viet restaurant we went to next to the Safeway and taco bell off Quebec and county line. For myself I wanted something different that I've never had and asked about the clay pot since it said it was a traditional Vietnamese dish. I was very satisfied with the flavor and consistency of the fish even though I didn't expect it to be drowning in its own broth or soup. Regardless the fish was cooked well and I would definitely order it again if I'm ever indeciSive on what to eat. Lastly, we ordered a couple taro flavored bubble teas and was extremely happy they made it just the way we like it. Coming from the east coast where Asian cuisine is all over the place we had trouble finding a place that makes bubble tea the way we were accustomed to. This was just a perfect way of finishing our meal! All in all, nothing was bad it's better than average and the staff is extremely friendly and cordial. If you want a nice quiet and intimate place to eat some good Viet food you won't be disappointed. Came here with my little brother and he was craving some pho. He ended up ordering a chicken dish and I ended up with Pho. The Pho was just "ok" nothing special. I thought the broth was a little bit too bland. My brothers chicken dish he said was a little too salty so I'm taking 1 star off. Where they really shine is the service. The gentleman waiter in the green shirt was very nice and came over to our table 4x in the 40 minutes that we were there. We will try this place again when we are back to visit this fall. read more

I have been going to Viet Pho for over a year and have never left unsatisfied. The service is warm and friendly and the food is fantastic. I love Pho and really enjoy how they prepare their Pho without MSG. This gives it a clean flavor in which you can taste all the ingredients. Last night my daughter and I dined at Viet Pho for the first time and it was incredible. I was amazed how knowledgable the owners are about gluten free, MSG and more. Most of the menu is gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer for the gluten free fried items. I had fried eggrolls for the first time in six years and I was in heaven! Just wonderful! Delicious pho and the owner and his wife were super friendly. Once we learned the same family owns Indochine in Parker, we knew we were in for a treat since Indochine happens to be our favorite restaurant. The firecracker shrimp are identical in both restaurants, but the curry sauce has a little more zip at Viet Pho. This is the worst vietnamese meal that I have had in town. We ordered the shrimp bowl and tofu curry. The shrimp was rubbery and tasteless and the noodles very blend. The tofu looked terrible and the curry was very blend.
