An absolute disappointment. I chose Virgin Mobile for their competitive internet prices not…read morerealizing that the customer service experience would be so dreadful.
I ordered my internet plan online which was followed up by a phone call where I was offered a 50% discount on my selected plan. I happily accepted and proceeded to book my installation appointment for Monday from 12h-17h.
Come Monday, I waited until 17h and when nobody came I called Virgin. That previous weekend I had called their customer service twice to verify if my order was okay since I never received an email confirming so. They assured me all was well. When I called on Monday, the answer was a bit different. They said my order didn't go through and they had to redo it.
After almost 2 hours on the phone with them, my order was placed. They said they were coming the following day between 17h-21h.
Again, no confirmation was sent. I called and to my surprise the order didn't go through again. So we repeated the steps. Again, I spent over an hour on the phone with them.
Finally my internet was installed on Thursday. That day I checked my account to see If my plan had been applied properly. To my surprise, I didn't. So I called and they assured me that when my bill was posted I would see my discount reflected.
Got my bill and was charged the FULL AMOUNT. I called customer service and they said the discount would be applied in the next one or two bills. Until then I would have to pay the full amount.
I chose to cancel my service immediately. The agent dealing with my case was awfully rude and condescending, and didn't even offer an apology.
I never write reviews like this but I'm appalled by the lack of care for their customers and breaking promises about their services.
Never getting services with Virgin again.
