Everything was well organized, reasonably priced, and just so much fun. The selection is honeslty a bit difficult to describe but truly contained such a variety of items, from specialty origami papers to fun matchboxes, decor, and various trinkets. One thing that stood out though was their incredible boom selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and would likely return, not only for gifts but to get myself a few items.

First, you must call to set up an appointment to shop. The store is small so they only allow a certain amount of people inside. They have different hours as well. Upon entering, they require a face mask and hand sanitizer before browsing the store. The location is literally right off campus. Parking can be annoying in this area. There is street parking in front or a small parking lot behind the store. Keep this in mind when visiting. There are a couple of other businesses located in the same building: a Korean restaurant (delicious) and a music store downstairs. If you're looking for a fun and unique store, definitely visit!

Whether you're here for the historic harness racing, the gaming floor, or just a fun night out, the energy is always lively without ever feeling overwhelming. The staff could have been a bit more friendly and helpful. I had a few questions since it was my first time and they acted like it was inconvenient to answer them. Thus, the four star review. The facility is clean, easy to navigate, and has plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, relax, and enjoy yourself for a few hours. Between the racing, the gaming, and the great service, The Red Mile is a Lexington classic that's well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

At first we did ok but here are a few things I have noticed: 1. They make it confusing to enter drawings. (+You have to spend $$$ before you can) 2. They have now limited your free cash and it has to be spent in 7 days or you lose it. 3. The front desk has some staff members that can be rude. 4. The games are very tight and we have heard others complain. 5. What used to be a fun outing is no longer fun :( I think we will now save up to go elsewhere which is a shame because this is closer but I think if the perks were better we would still be going. :/.

No, not adult toys, but toys targeted for adults. T-shirts, action figures, branded cups and mugs, not to mention a huge collection of POP vinyl figures. Sure, they still have some DVDs and CDs in here. And some devices. But that has definitely taken a back seat to the nerdery that has slowly developed in here. Check it out! I'm sure you'll be surprised what's happened here. It's starting to look a little more like Hot Topic inside every day.

Great professional staff and safety is their #1 priority. Located right in the city, just a short drive to get there. This is the most open cavern I have ever been in and you almost feel like you are in a dark warehouse, it's so big! No "tight" spaces of any kind. Heights might be your issue if that is a concern. If you have any climbing, repelling, spelunking, or exploring experience, this is a "walk in the park" for you. No experience is needed and they take care of everything. All you have to do is zip when you're told. Have fun! Shoutout to Bethany M., an excellent staff member.

Online booking mentions that it is a 2.5hr experience but with a smaller group of 8, it only took 1.5hr for all the zip lines. Overall a very fun experience and great with big groups! The Bad: Do not get the picture package!! The picture is taken at a standing platform after one of the zip lines, not an action shot!! The Ugly: It felt a little sketchy going down the barren hallway. It was a 5 min walk that felt like you were going through an industrial hallway and it just felt out of place to keep going if the signs were not there. On to my next adventure....

After a visit to the head shed and receiving the worst customer service i've ever experienced I thought it necessary to do so, hopefully saving someone else from having to go through what I did. Went to purchase item (a) and after being assured by the employee what I was buying was what I was asking for, I went on my way. That night I discovered I had actually been sold something of a much farther inferior quality. Willing to chalk it up to inexperience on the employees part, I sought out the owner. Upon talking to the owner I was told that since I didn't pay enough money I should have known that I wasn't getting what i was asking for. Completely baffled, I though I had misspoken and he didn't understand that I asked to buy something and was sold something else. I repeated myself and he again told me it was my fault for not paying more money. I excused myself politely, took my business down the road to Purple Haze, and for the EXACT same price I paid the day prior I received a legitimate version of the item (a) I had originally wanted to purchase from the head shed as well as smiling faces and excellent customer service! All in all, employees are either improperly trained on the stores inventory or are properly trained in conning people for their money and the owner has the worst customer relations in the business. I wouldn't recommend the head shed to my worst enemy, take your business somewhere more reputable!

As per the Victorian Square website:…read more "VICTORIAN SQUARE has been at the heart of Lexington's downtown since the 1880's. The block of sixteen buildings has housed, among other things, saloons, hotels, restaurants and an opera house. In 1985 a modern renovation brought them all together under one roof, creating an airy and accessible space that is best observed from the central courtyard. The decorative metal ceilings, ironwork and exterior balconies from these establishments have been preserved wherever possible. The result is a perfect blend of historical architecture and modern comfort that is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings." *Except* Yeah, it is pretty and very Victorian in style, I will give it that. But it was as dead and uninteresting as a tomb when we were there around lunchtime on a Wednesday. Even the Cosi sandwich shop was closed! There are three floors, and while the attempt had been made to be open and airy inside, the result was still dim and cold. The first floor had some shops, including an art gallery and a ladies' accessory shop, but as you went higher, the more empty spaces prevailed. The second floor had a Kentucky gift store (which was pretty lame) and then the rest was devoted to some kind of kid themed activity center or a day care. We didn't even bother with the third floor. People of Lexington - you might want to consider revamping this space in some way if you are going to keep listing it in your tourist pamphlets and brochures. I am glad we didn't make a special trip here because it was pretty disappointing.

The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! We had a great experience and I would love to go back to Create!
