I go to the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) mainly to workout and play basketball, so I can tell you that both facilities are great. They fit all of your workout needs, and the basketball gym is great to go shoot around, or run a couple games. The gym has many different machines and tools including racks of dumbbells, bench press, cables, and leg press machines. The gym is also nice because you are told to wipe down the machines once you are one to keep it sanitary. The pool is also very nice, and you can go and swim to get a nice little workout in.

They have a camp video on their website and it showed the children having an amazing time. That being said, I was disappointed. This camp is expensive and I did not feel I got my money's worth *pay attention to the NO REFUND policy*. My 9yr old was a "junior" and loved Pepperhill. They had activities and swimming scheduled every day. My 12yr old was a "grad" and they are granted more freedom to pick and choose what they want to do during the day because they are older; they also went on field trips. My 12yr old spent most of the day helping the younger campers or doing chores around the camp. As a parent, that didn't upset me because it teaches them responsibility. What did upset me was that I was paying MUCH MORE for my child to do what I felt the counselors should be doing. Now, the tuition for a "grad" is more because they go on field trips (movies, skating) and BIG trips (Holiday World in Indiana), but you are not eligible to attend the BIG trips unless you enroll in all three weeks of the session. Pay attention to this because when I enrolled I was very excited for my child to get a chance to do white water rafting, but because we had a family memorial and did not enroll in one of the weeks, they were not eligible for the BIG trip that session, even though we attended the other two weeks. I will not be sending my children back to this camp based on the fact they are way too expensive and and I did not feel I got my money's worth.

The process to book the experience was fast and easy, everything was done online. Once we arrived, we found good parking right away although it seems like it could get pretty crowded very quickly. The reception are was well decorated with all of the rooms and activities they had and what they consisted of so I was intrigued reading while waiting. Almost immediately the host took us across the street to where the rooms are and she was very helpful and informative! Although I cannot remember her name unfortunately, she helped us a lot through the escape. Unfortunately we did not beat the game, but we now have an idea of what to choose from, which level works best for us, the number of rooms and how big they are, etc. In the end we got stickers and our picture taken... it was a pretty fun night. The price was a bit high in my opinion given that there was only one room for 1 hr (we paid a little over $33 per person) but then again I haven't been to an escape room in years so I am not entirely sure what the current average prices are.
