The entrance to Create is a toy store and it looked like they had a lot of fun items- I will definitely be back when looking for kids gifts. We were welcomed by the owners through the lego rainbow to join the party. My son was immediately so excited about all the fun activities that were set up! There were 3 sensory/play bins, a play dough station, and an art station arranged with tons of supplies for the party-goers to paint a doughnut. My son is a year and a half so he was mainly into the sensory bins. There was also a giant "cake" set up with colored shaving cream "paint" so the attendees could decorate the cake. I was a little worried that my son was making such a mess being pretty young, but the owners were really chill about it and encouraged him to participate! We had a great experience and I would love to go back to Create!

I am a terrible painter but I honestly made the best painting of my life here. Ashley made the experience fun and looked to my strengths to give me advice on what I could do better. She gave me different tools throughout the process to help me accomplish the look I was going for. One of the best things about this place as well is that if you don't finish in your first visit you can come back at certain times and have full access to their resources and advice even if it takes a couple times of coming back to do so. Coming here gave me confidence in my ability to actually paint well and it was not stressful at all during the process. This store is not like any other, it's not overwhelming with selections. They have just the right amount of color choices and pieces. They have mugs hanging on the wall as soon as you walk in 2/$30. This was my favorite spot. They are all unique in their own way. Various colors, styles and sizes. This is also the home of the "This might be Bourbon" logo on their mugs. They have a nice little selection of Kentucky mugs. T-shirt's and also sale some hand carved wooden pieces from a gentleman out of Berea. They recently moved here from a location a few blocks away, which may explain the closed report. My first visit was really a pleasant surprise. This is a very clean, neatly organized and (as the name says) eclectic shop. Where else can you find really unique items, artwork, furniture, collectibles, and NO JUNK! They have antique books, magazines, glassware, unique art, and it's nicely displayed .... you'll have to visit more than once just to really see everything. Best shopping surprise I've had in Winchester!
