I've been to Vida's a few times now and can say that you definitely get more than what you pay for. This is the only nail salon I've ever been to where you get a 20 minute massage on your legs and feet. I believe I've gotten the deluxe pedi and I actually had to ask how long are the massages in each pedi because I was surprised at how long they were massaging each time I went in. The only downside to this is often I want to ask them to stop because my bottom begins to hurt badly from sitting too long. The salon itself is definitely outdated and needs to be really overhauled. When you walk in, you feel like you just walked into a hole in the wall back alley salon and aren't sure you want to stay. But the people are really nice, the prices are affordable, and they constantly text you with coupons. read more

Made me wait an hour when I had an appointment. They took regulars before me even though they had appointments later than me. The lady that did my nails was sloppy and careless. I normally get SNS where I usually go they dip my nails 4 times and this lady only dipped my nails twice and I noticed when I left, 1 nail felt like sandpaper. I had to go back and fixed it. read more

Absolutely LOVED Vida Salon! Rose does a genius job of doing the Tap Nails application, which is stronger than the normal SNS and lasts me about a month! Both Lynn and Kim do epic pedicures, relaxing, beautiful and smooth. The salon even offers water on occasion and everyone is polite, and the new paint and remodel make the salon bright, clean and colorful. I've even had my brows waxed to my total satisfaction! Try Vida today!!!! read more

Just ok. Don't get me wrong. My nails looked amazing......after I came home and redid them myself. They missed a bunch of spots and there were lines and globs of polish in various parts of some nails. Overall, not a good experience and I get my nails done maybe a couple times a year so my expectations are very low to begin with. Will most likely not visit this place again. read more

I love this place. The person that runs this salon is always very nice. My nails are beautiful every time. And they even took me on a Sunday evening right before their closing time when every other nail salon didn't want to take me. This picture is from my nails one week after I got them done and they look still beautiful! Highly recommend this place! read more

Team work makes the dream work! Or in this case, makes a great mani and pedi! I made an appointment through Yelp for the same day, and it was a breeze. Katie, the owner replied to my message and was very responsive when I had to change the time. I requested SNS and a basic pedicure. I was greeted immediately upon entering. Katie acknowledged my appointment and asked me to choose my nail colors. There were a few customers inside, but they were finishing up. It took me a while to choose my colors because I am very indecisive, and this was my very first SNS experience. They were patient with me. Once I chose my colors, they directed me to the spa pedicure seat. Hannah was my main tech for my pedicure, and wow, she really took her time with my pedicure! I loved it. I've been to many salons where I'm in and out of the seat in 15 minutes, but Hannah didn't rush it at all. I asked for a basic pedi, and it came with the basic cleaning and scrubbing, but it felt more than a basic pedi. Katie did my SNS, and she too, took her time. She was very detailed. I loved my first SNS experience! We had a nice chat while she did my nails. She mentioned that she has been in the nail industry for a long time (10+ years, I believe) and this is her very first business. Based on her experience, she's found that it's better to work as a team and have the techs help each other. One tech may correct another tech's work if need be. For example, when Hannah got up to do something in the back, Katie inspected my pedicure and proceeded to clean it up some more. She also went ahead and finished the pedicure herself since she was finished with my SNS. I had a wonderful experience! The staff is pleasant and friendly. The service was excellent. The space is beautiful and clean. My SNS and pedicure turned out great. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely return! read more

Got a gel manicure there on Thursday 9/2 and it is Wednesday 9/8 and I already have to take it off. The nail polish lasted 2 days before it started chipping and now it's gotten to the point that you would think that I got my nails done over 2 weeks ago when it hasn't even been a week. Waste of my money. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon, since my go-to place had gone up a lot in pricing, and I thought I would try this spa. I wish I hadn't. It was a really odd experience at best. I got SNS. A few times, she knicked my skin trying to buffer off the SNS. Also, there was no cleaning of my nails prior. A little soap and water would have be nice, and actually seems a necessary step. The other issue was I've never had my cuticles done without any heat prior or cream or oil applied, and never ever done after the SNS is put on. How does that even make sense? Removing cuticle after means the polish is not flush with the cuticle line at that point on top of the fact that it hurts because the skin isn't soft, and she's just ripping away at it. Then the acetone she used initially leaves that whiteish film on your fingers...ladies I know you know what I'm talking about. No lotion was ever applied or anything and when i mentioned it she said oh don't worry it will go away once you wash your hands, so I left with that film all over my fingers. To top it off, I get a call then a text from her saying she can't process my payment. She told me to use cashapp. I used the QR code she had supplied, and paid. Well later she is harrassing me that I need to call cashapp and get that payment canceled and pay with Venmo. I told her the funds had already been released from my bank and cashapp doesn't do refunds. She said that she can't access them because I added a tip or something, and I don't get what that even has to do with it because cashapp is one amount, not amount plus tip so they wouldn't know the difference, but basically I told her I didn't know what to do because on my end the transaction was complete. I emailed Cashapp, but again, I think she's the one who needs to be taking care of this at this point. Never again! read more

I got my nails done here and had to get them removed from a different salon a week later. not only was my acrylic uneven on my nails, but when getting them removed, we figured out that four of my nails acrylic was stuck to my actual skin. paying any amount is paying too much to get your nails done here. Definitely would go anywhere else after my experience. The artist also did the wrong color chrome after showing her reference pictures so they didn't even look like the ones I wanted to get. read more

I got dip powder ombre nails in a stiletto shape and they came out wonderfully. My nails are inspired by nezuko from the anime demon slayer and I love them so much. My usual place was packed out solid with an hour and a half wait. My hands and feet were pretty rough, so I decided it was time to find a "plan B" salon. Enter Vida Nails. When I walked in, Katie and her girls were also busy, but the put me in a chair, got me soaking and my nails prepped, offered me a beverage, and I watched TV while these woman knocked out three mani-pedis in front of me with speed and gracious service. As stated, my toes are pretty rough, so the lovely lady who did my feet had her work cut out for her. My feet looked better than they had in a decade or more, and my pedicure was fantastic. Sweetest lady ever, and all with a smile. My manicure, again super on-point, and they wouldn't stop apologizing for making me have to wait. Highly highly highly recommend this place. It went from being my "plan B" to being my new go-to. I've been loyal to my salon for years, but sometimes you just need to cut the chord and make a change for the better. When in need of a good mani-pedi, Vida is the place to come. Just do it. read more

Last week I went for my first visit and had a regular manicure and pedicure. Everything was good, my only complaint would be that the person doing the pedicure used the disposal pumice without getting it wet which makes it rough and I still had callus on my feet when I left. Not sure of the name of the person. Overall I was very pleased with a basic mani/pedi. The store was clean, it had very relaxing music along with a video of birds. Good experience compared to most Cumming nail salons, I will return in the future. read more

This place is so misleading...it's in a shopping center like all the rest, where nail places are a dime a dozen. I usually just shop around nail salons & hope for the best, & honestly? When I walked in here I wasn't super impressed. It's pretty simple aesthetically, not the nicest place in the city. I thought, well this will probably be a bust....boy, was I proven WRONG. This is one of the best gel nails I've literally ever had. The customer next to me - SAME. Hers looked freaking amazing. This is my new place, hands down. I haven't had a pedicure yet, so I can't speak on that. But this was the most efficient (meaning I'm not sitting there for an hour & a half!) & nice & quiet experience. My nails are PERFECT, I kid you not. read more

I put one star to be seen ! However I have been sitting here for 15 minutes and not one person greeted me or asked me if I wanted a pedicure or manicure. I asked to see the SNS colors and I was given a basket and still she did not ask me what I was there for. I will be leaving and I will not come back- my suggestion - if you are 55+ and Caucasian maybe they will treat you differently ! But anyone else - don't bother ! read more

Disappointed in mani and pedi. Manicure began with buffing followed by hands in bags with cuticle remover-no soaking, no warm gloves. Pedicure similar-no soaking to soften cuticles. Asked to even toe nail length-cut each down very short. Requested not to cut down the sides of nails (results in ingrown nail) and technician did it anyway. The salon has received several Best of Forsyth Co. awards--I did not experience this. Maybe I will try again. read more

It was just... alright. I feel as if I was most definitely overcharged and if not than it was honestly way too expensive for what you get. If you feel like paying quite a bit of money for mediocre nails go ahead, you do you. read more

I have been here before a few months ago with my mom. The last time the lady cut my mom while she was getting SNS causing her to bleed and they also nicked my finger as well. Decided to try again today and sure enough the lady cut my fingers at least 4 times getting SNS. I understand they use the drill tool. I have done SNS before several times. She just seems to rush and not pay attention when she is using the drill tool. Also, She filed the color off my finger multiple times and had to re-dip my fingers. The color still didn't cover my entire nail after she filed them too much and as well left super glue on my fingers from the tips added on. They are not filed smoothly and I will be going home to re-file them. The color is pretty, that is the only nice thing I have to say. I will never be returning. I tried to give them a second chance and they did a horrendous job. read more

I stumbled upon this salon online in desperate need to find a new nail tech! I went in for SNS with tip with an ombré design. BEWARE OF EGOTISTICAL OWNER/ NAIL TECHS. OWNER ROLLED EYES and told me I'm impossible to work with I came here bc my bestfriend just wanted a a refill and said it would be cheaper for her so I joined her. We were sat down and a lady clipped off her nails to start a new set and began to prep my nails. She cut me with a file and burnt me with her dermal. I asked if they had a certain color and instead of saying no they insisted that the color they were giving me was it. It was not I wanted a tinted pink clear coat. They wanted to give me an ombré. My friends nails were super short, all shapes were different and nails had dents and Divet's and cuts all over her fingers. My nails also had Divet's sides were not painted, in color is not uniform, and nails are lifting after a few days, and one broken nail. Later that night, for the first time in my life my nails were sore. They tried to get us back in for them to fix it. I declined and let them know I don't want to return and my friend gave them a chance in which while her nails were longer the shapes and color was just as bad. As well as the issue the first time, cuts. Upset that my nails looked like I had them for weeks, I called to get a refund so I could go to my normal place. They tried to get me back in to fix it. I declined and said I didn't want to return I just want a refund. Owner put me on hold and spoke with the nail tech who said she did an amazing job. Below are pictures of my nails. She asked me text her pictures so I did and didn't hear back so I came in the next day. She looked at my nails and tried to Convince me to let her fix my nails saying that the issues were easily fixable and they were minuscule issues. I let her know that my friend got a come in earlier to get her nails fixed was not happy with the job I let her know exactly what my friend told me and the owner, Katie, tried to tell me there's no way that it was an issue that she asked her and she said she did an amazing job. I tried to tell her what she said to me and she continuously denied denied denied. I told her all I wanted was a refund so I could go to where I usually go. After much debate she agreed to give me 50% back. She rolled her eyes as I spoke to her and called me someone that you couldn't work with I let her know that is not professional. After many eye rolls she then charged me what she was supposed to give me back and then took 15 minutes to fix her mistakes. read more

Best place for a good mani pedi!!! They also do the best SNS and acrylic compared to all the salons close by.

I just moved down here from NY and tried out several nail salons and after each one, I left feeling unsatisfied with their service and my nails didn't hold up for 2 weeks like they're supposed to. Tried this place on a whim and it's been a week and so far, they're still holding up. If anything should change in a week I'll edit this review but so far, this place is comparable to the place I used to go to in NY. I've gotten many compliments on them and love the way they came out. I'll most likely be back next week for my fill in and pedi if they hold up for 1 more week. read more

I have come to this salon twice before for small fixes as they are close to my work and my normal place is not. However today was a total disappointment, I went in to get 3 nails fixed and a fill in with gel this is what I told the first artist when she approached me at the entrance.she spoke in their native language to who I believe to be the owner and ushers me to a seat. After telling me they needed to take my current set off and start a new set I realized this would add a bit of time but boy I didn't know how true that would be. She starts the dial off at 5:15 and I wasn't done until 5:56 she then buffs my nails puts oil and tells me to wash my hands. After I wash my hands I walk back to the chair and sit down for the next part of my service the owner comes back and tells me I can pay now confused I tell her I wanted a full set,she speaks the the artist that approached me first then tells me oh she thought you only wanted take off. She then sits back down and starts to do my nails again at this point it's 6:15 she puts the tips on ask how long I want them I show her she cuts them then says we should do straight tips for the length to look good I say okay she puts me back to soak the tips off and gos to work on another customers nails. Now the time is 6:35 and I'm sitting as all the other customers are being worked on I look back at the owner and she motions to another artist and states she will do my nails when she finishes the customer she has. At 7:00 the new artist comes to start my nails she has some trouble getting the right straight tips to fit my nail bed and even getting enough glue to make it hold and at one point accidentally gluing her finger to my nail. Needless to say I was less then impressed however I decided to stick it out as my normal place closed at 7 , at 7:35 she starts drilling the acrylic she doesn't complete this step to start the paint until 8:05 I had shown her a design I wanted but after sitting for three hours I decided on something simple to get me out the chair faster she starts paints at 8:11 I do not leave until 8:46 all in all it was a less then spectacular experience and will not return the convenience of being close to work does not out weigh the time I spent in the chair today lesson learned read more

Katie did a wonderful job! This was my first time getting SNS, I had seen a picture of what I wanted and she made it happened. Honestly it was a terrible experience here and I didn't speak up when I should have. I went in to get sns and had on acrylics before. When taking off my acrylics she cut my finger and it started bleeding and she proceeded to dip my bleeding finger into the bowl of sns powder that would also be used for other people and I can't get over that. She also nicked my fingers multiple times when filing the sns with the drill and also when she was prepping my bare nails it felt like my nails were burning. It's been 4 days and where she nicked me and it started bleeding is so painful when anything touches it and all my nails feel raw. I wish I would have said something but honestly I just wanted to get out of there more than anything. Just don't. read more
