Vida's is a sweet little spot with some really good coffee. During our recent visit we took our walks toward her truck and stopped by a few times for her delicious coffee. We stayed at Honua Kai and this place is dangerously close. It's near a bunch of other food trucks but is the only one open at 6am. Can't recommend their food and drinks more. We were staying close by and walked over for some coffee at this food truck. They have all the traditional coffees and even nitro cold brew, but I was interested in something more interesting and got an ube sunrise latte, which is house ube syrup with espresso. The iced version was perfect for a balmy morning. It wasn't too sweet, and the espresso was great. Alternate milks are available. They also have breakfast items like breakfast sandwiches, grilled cheese, acai bowls, banana and pineapple breads. $8 minimum for credit cards. Staff are very friendly, and they have a little covered seating area separate from the regular picnic tables for the other food trucks. Current hours are 6am to 2pm. read more

Stopped by Vida Coffee at the food truck park and even though it was super busy, it was 100% worth the wait! The staff was friendly and kept things moving with a great vibe. I ordered the Big Daddy Mocha Roca and WOW--this drink is next level. Rich, chocolatey, with perfect nutty chunks that gave it the most amazing texture. They advertise being open every day 6am-2pm online and 6am-12pm on their physical store sign - we've come here every single day on our week long vacation at different hours within the window of their listed open hours, and they have been closed every time. The least they could do is take down/update their posted open hours sign, which is just handwritten on a piece of paper. Like other reviews, highly recommend their Acai bowl and coffee. Plenty of fruit loaded on top, and the serving was large enough to share. The price is also a lot more reasonable than acai bowls served in Whaler's Village. Be warned that the Yelp directions are not accurate. It will try to guide you to the lobby of one of the local hotels. Just search for the Honoapiilani Food Truck Park instead. Since this is the only food truck open in the morning, plenty of parking available. read more

Had a pretty unfortunate experience here and will not be returning. We were looking forward to checking out this locally-owned spot, especially after seeing a few positive reviews on their coffee. 2 stars because even though the service was awful, the ube latte was good. I asked if their açaí bowl was gluten and dairy free, they responded it's dairy free but has gluten in the granola. I asked if they would be able to leave off the granola and this seemed to irritate them. They began talking negatively amongst themselves while we were still completing our drink order and payment. The gal ringing us up even whispered back "the customers can hear you" twice - it was painfully awkward and made us feel like we had done something wrong by simply ordering. We were given the açaí bowl and first drink, then waited patiently for our second drink. After a few minutes of waiting, I was asked what I was waiting for. I kindly repeated my order and the gal turned around before I could even finish saying 'oat milk'. They made the drink without a word to me and then stuck it out the window in my general direction without saying anything or any eye contact. I had to read the writing on the cup to make sure it was my order. I said thank you with no response and left with a pit in my stomach. This was such an unexpected experience, especially with how incredible all our other stops have been throughout Maui for the last week. read more

Went there 4 times, saw them mess up half a dozen orders and not once did the woman act like she cared at all. Probably the rudest service I've had at any coffee stand anywhere. I'd rather drink a canned coffee than pay a $8 min for the wrong order. People in front of us ordered Americanos with cream, it came without cream and the woman acted like it wasn't her problem and charged them extra for the cream.
