Service was good, food was horrible. I ordered a fried floor taco, it came out with some kind of nasty tasting cracker taco shell.

Plank has, unfortunately, announced they will be closing at the end of 2025, and while I did enjoy…read moresome of their food offerings, I can't say I'm super surprised. They definitely have/had some pretty high prices compared to other eateries in the area. I'm not sure if that is caused by cost of goods or location or what, but I think that did come into play when a lot of economic hardship is happening all over. Like I mentioned above, I DID like their food, but it definitely had to be a special occasion type of thing, due to the high prices. When we did go, I LOVED the Maryland Crab Dip. It reminded me of my favorite crab dip in the world, at the SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta. We also had the Green Bean Almandine that was on special last time we went and that was pretty good, but you have to be a green bean fan, for sure. I decided to try the sushi as my main dish last time, and had the Everything Crunch Maki, which consisted of cooked salmon, jalapeño, and cream cheese. It was pretty good, and had a little hint of spice to it from the jalapeño, which cut the heavy cream aspect. My husband had the Grilled Atlantic Salmon for his entree, and gave me a few bites. It was cooked well and the mushroom risotto below it was very flavorful and filling. The cute nautical ambiance and excellent service were always appreciated, so no complaints there either. I think if they had been in a different area with less expensive rent and cost of goods, I may have visited more often.

Plank provisions did one heck of a job. This oyster bar was phenomenal. The service was great, the food was superb. I will say the Caesar salad with chicken I ordered was probably the best Caesar I've ever had (and I'm a big Caesar fan, so it has to be just right). The mahi mahi tacos were so delicious, the sauce, the flakiness everything about them were devoured. Lastly loved their happy hour options, were tried the calamari and hush puppies(the sauce with these were sooo good and spicy!) The whole place had a welcoming vibe, and made you feel like you were stepping somewhere on the coast side! Which is nice for the Midwest haha. Well done plank provisions!

After enjoying countless outstanding meals at Shuck's Fish House & Oyster Bar on Pacific Street, I…read morefinally made it to the original Shuck's on Leavenworth in downtown Omaha. It was every bit as good as I had hoped. Shuck's knows seafood--and they know how to make dining fun. From their lively, engaging servers to their inviting atmosphere and unique menu offerings, everything comes together to create a memorable experience. Most importantly, the quality of the food consistently shines through. My wife and I ordered the Deep South Risotto, a delicious combination of fresh shrimp, Andouille sausage, and green beans tossed in a spicy, creamy risotto. We also enjoyed the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl, featuring perfectly cooked teriyaki-glazed salmon served over a blend of brown rice and red quinoa with tender sautéed broccoli. Paired with Shuck's famously ice-cold draft beer, these excellent entrées made for the perfect lunch before heading over to Big Ten Baseball at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. If you're visiting Omaha and find yourself downtown, make time for Shuck's Fish House & Oyster Bar. Great seafood, great atmosphere, and great service--you won't be disappointed.

I wish the cocktail was a bit bigger. We had to wait a while for our food, I think someone may have called out from the staff because the two waitresses were running around A LOT but did their best to take care of everyone!!
