The portions are large, and when you factor in that many come with a side and cornbread, it usually means two meals from one order for me. This is a family run restaurant and the atmosphere reflects that - everyone is nice and familiar with each other. Depending on how many people are working and how busy it is, it may take a minute before your order gets taken. And it's not fast food, so plan to spend a little time waiting while your order is cooked. You can alleviate that somewhat by calling in an order or using their website. There's usually a special of the day that knocks a couple bucks off the price of that dish. Everything I've tried has been great and well-cooked.
