    Soul wings and fried okra
    Hailey H.

Tried the rainbow pebbles and the funnel cake wings. Both really good, recommended to let the wings set and the soak up the grease with the ingredients on the wings. Pictures are the soul wings and fried okra. Cheaper prices so that's good. There's lots of food and flavors. Only thing to be forewarned about is the wait time. They custom make everything so anticipate spending an hour there. It's in a gas station so i was skeptical but overall it was good.

Inside the layout is two level - upper with the bar and some seating and then a lower level a few steps down. Lots of televisions as with most sports bars and they also offer Keno. We seated ourselves at a high-top table and didn't have to wait too long for service. I ordered a draft IPA. It arrived with a nice head on it and the hazy orange tone I expected. Taste was good - citrusy and hoppy - but it was not near cold enough. Tap beer in the USA needs to be served cold, unless you're talking about dark porters and Irish ales. I ordered the Sportscasters Burger, medium, with mustard, pickle, lettuce and onion and a specific instruction to hold the tomato. What I got was everything (except ketchup or mayo) including the tomato. No big deal, it's easy to remove. The burger was done appropriately to medium and the bun and presentation was attractive. I would suggest a double burger as the patty is a bit thin. The burger was good, nothing spectacular. However the Crinkle Fries were on another level. They were perfectly fried, crisp, and yet soft within. From the looks of the exterior, I think they're using beef tallow to fry. I'm a "fry connoisseur" and I can confidently state that these are some of the best crinkle fries you can try - don't pass them up! I'd seriously consider going back just to get the fries! On that topic - "going back" - I can't say it would be high on my list (other than for the fries) but I wouldn't rule it out. Sportscasters rates a three-star based on the total experience. Without the fries, I'd be at a two-star due to the lukewarm tap beer and the thin burger patty.

Buffalo sauce on the wings aren't overwhelming but enough to let you know they are buffalo. Perfect combination for ya people who like a kick but nothing more. The garlic parmesan were a perfect mixture of the two and unlike most places they don't over do it. One of my favorite things about the wings are the SIZE! They are bigger than most places and I'm ok with paying a little more for a lot more meat. Definitely will always come here to get my wing fix in. The drinks were so so. I got an Old Fashion and Crown and Coke. Old Fashion is mostly alcohol so it was pretty good but the crown and coke was on the weak side but it didn't hurt my experience.

It was pretty good and the blue cheese was serviceable. I didn't hate it. I've certainly had worse. Had I not eaten dinner earlier and elsewhere I would have definitely indulged more. Their menu was about 10 pages deep. Everyone raves about their onion rings. It looked tempting but it sounded like a terrible heartburn that I didn't really want keeping me up all night. So I opted for the wings. Bartender was super nice. It was only about 10 people in the place. They were watching the MLB playoffs which they had over the loudspeaker. I was there for NFL. And the other TVs had other spots on including darts, pool, fútbol and racing. So a little bit for everyone. I would come again for sure.
