My boss and I eat at this location when we are working over here. They always proved quick food service and are nice. We usually sit at the bar, drink a beer, and eat. I really like their patty melt, but I wanted chili yesterday. The chili had great flavor, but I felt the cheese curds was too much. Curds on the side would have been better in my opinion. I've been to this restaurant several times. I won't say it's fantastic, but it is good. It's a bit on the expensive side, but you definitely will not leave hungry because they have large portions. They have great beer and great nachos, so if you want to chow down and watch your game on the big TV, then this is the place to be. Sometimes the crowd inside the restaurant are cheering super loud over a game, so your dinner can be quite exciting, and there are other times where it's really quiet in the place. They also have Keno if you enjoy that. They have an outdoor covered seating area so you can get fresh air. I almost always get the Nachos every time I come here. We Ordered take out for our dinner on Valentine's Day! I'm here to brag! It was a wonderful meal! We ordered early in the day for a 6:30 pm pick up!!! My husband ran in got the order 8 minutes early as he was on his way home from work. They said just a second they were finishing it up! My husband walked in our door at 6:33! Everything was fresh and everything was done to exact order! Nicely put into trays, and made sure they added the condiments. So delicious! DJ's Dugout is probably the best, and my favorite restaurant of all time. It's all you can ask for, coming with a keno, jukebox, a bar, and a menu full of food that comes down from heaven. The wings are covered in just the right amount of hot sauce you choose from. The texture goes with the taste like macaroni and cheese. Their fries are the best part; the fries have just the right amount of salt and the fries are cut from just the right potatoes. Burger are the bomb, they hit spot like a bullseye. This DJ's Dugout is a pretty decent location. I came here a couple of times already, one time for my birthday which was a very good meal. The food is a bit expensive but the portions are definitely sufficient as well as the quality. The Super Bowl of Nachos is always a fun start; the nachos taste great & are packed with flavorful. They usually come with melted cheese, beef, tomatoes & sour cream and all of it works really well with the nachos. Their cheeseburgers are cooked very well and are also full of good juicy flavors. I do like the soup that they have here as well. This is also a good place to eat dessert - whenever I have dessert I eat the DJ Brownie, which is a 1/4 pound fudge brownie, served hot with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, cool whipped cream and topped with maraschino cherries. On certain nights it can be a bit noisy in here (especially when a popular football game is on) but I still have a fairly enjoyable experience whenever I come here. Jake, Djay, Noah, and Zachary all did amazing on my order, the wings were flawless and the patty melt was equisute. My server today was great to us. We came for the husker game and had an amazing time. She was even better than the huskers winning. I think her name was Haley, she was a blonde girl. Will not be back!! It took over 40 minutes for our food that we never got. No update, no beer refill she avoided us at all cost. We had to flag her down to get our bill because we were starving. How sad. The table behind us were there after us and got their food before us. Asked for the bill all she said was sorry. Kitchen is backed up. I don't think that is the reason since half the restaurant got food after we ordered. No manager came over. Need more communication or your going to lose alot more than business. read more

I live in south Bellevue and had no clue this place existed in Plattsmouth. Part of that is I tend to mostly use Yelp to figure out where to go. So, this place needs to be reviewed! Head S on 75 and u will run right into it. It's near the Hyvee in town. I only had a beer so I can say much other than the bartender was very polite and attentive, but not overbearing. $6 for a 32oz domestic beer on a Saturday. Can't beat that. The place was super clean with a lot of tvs w/ tons of different sports on (March Madness at the time). I recommend trying it out if u head south. read more

This is a great place for the Plattsmouth area since there are very few dining options. Good food at a good price and great service. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Managers are always on duty and great to work with if there is an issue. Good beer selection and you get your monies worth if you order a drink. Very disappointed at the very limited menu of mostly greasy fried food. Wanted to stop in for a snack and cold beer... No "snack" size items or prices on the menu or cold beer;, lukewarm and flat! Pretty dead for a Friday night.. 10 people in huge place. Freezing cold. Don't like to try and relax when shivering with my jacket on!
