Loaner vehicle!
Amelia S.

This review is for the service department exclusively. I was so nervous to go to a new dealer and was worried about getting ripped off. Normally I go to a different Subaru dealer but they're 35 minutes away. Out of nowhere I got a check engine light on my car and I was concerned about driving it to my regular place. My regular dealer couldn't see me for a few days. I contacted Victory because they're super close by and they fit me in the next day. The service manager Jana was excellent. She was patient and explained everything thoroughly. Victory even caught some things that my previous dealer should have done or told me about and never did. She went above and beyond to try to get me in the best situation possible. I ended up having to leave my car there because a part had to be ordered and I was panicking because I was starting a new job that week. She managed to get me a loaner vehicle, a brand new 2022 Forester (that I fell in love with) while the part got ordered. She only charged me for one visit and one extended warranty claim instead of two (which is what she said she normally has to do). When I had questions about repairs, she went to my car and took pictures to show me what needed to be done. I spoke to my neighbor a former mechanic and made sure all the repairs were legitimate and needed. My car ended up being done a day early too. Even though I was sad to give up the loaner, I was thrilled to have my car back. I feel I was charged reasonable prices compared to Subaru dealerships and they did a great job. The bonus exterior car wash is a nice touch. I'll probably come back here again. Something to note: if you come in and get diagnostics and DONT get a repair, they charge you a diagnostic fee. If you get service done with them, the diagnostic fee is waived.

I love how the owner is very active on here replying to our customers' reviews. I will try to describe my experience objectively and see how the owner responds. FYI, I had zero interaction with the "owner" throughout my time at the dealership and on the phone the next day. Logically his perspective on the whole thing will be based on his own guys' description. I was first greeted by Amanda Jannone from online sales. She was just great. I then met up with Isaiah Katallage. He's a great sales person and very welcoming. He puts no pressure on me when we were test driving the cars. I was pretty much settled on the Ascent because of the size and I was presented with a quote sheet. I know Victory Subaru is proud of their lifetime warranty but unfortunately it does not apply on used cars. They were charging a Pre Delivery Recon fee of $1700, and when asked about why do you charge this, they told me this is essentially what gave me factory warranty plus the 7 year/100K miles powertrain warranty as well. However, Victory Subaru was the only dealer among other Subaru dealers I've shopped around that charged this fee. Since I was only looking for '22 models with low mileages, they all have the same warranty, but none of them charge the $1700 for it. I was told the next day by him that no matter what dealer you go, you will be charged with this amount but realistically you guys are the only one charging this. I told Isaiah the asking price on this car is already 2K higher than the other Ascent I saw, plus the $1700 fee, it's almost 4 grand more expensive. Then I was greeted by Chris Sisco, the Sales Manager. He INSISTED that they were only profiting $193 from this car. He was very precise about the number, one hundred and ninety three dollars. I told him about my number that would make me sign the deal right there, $39K. They wouldn't budge a cent on the price. I then told them to meet me in the middle, $40K. He still wouldn't budge a cent. The asking price was $41,995 at the time. It was a shame since I really liked the pearl white paint. When I checked the webpage I had open on my desktop after I got back, this particular ascent was marked at $41,750. So what happened to the $193 profit that you guys are MERELY getting. When whomever decided to lower the price to $41,750, Chris simply had no idea, and he wouldn't budge a single cent while insisting on $193 is your total profit. The next day I got a call from Isaiah asking me whether there is a number that I can sign the deal. I said $40K but I don't know why are you still charging the $1700 fee. I know every single dealership will be different but no matter the reason you are charging this, it's just another $1700 I don't need to spend, since I am only looking for CPOs. I missed two or three consecutive calls from him that morning since I was at work. Then when I called him back I was told they are willing to give me a $1700 discount on the car but the $1700 has to be charged no matter what. I was then reached by one of their sales manager. Unfortunately I forgot his name but he was very professional throughout our communication. I was given the final quote, which stays the same, plus a super expensive doc fee and non tax fees compared to other subaru dealership. They were charging $799 for doc fee and $418.50 for non tax fees, which were literally twice than most other Subaru dealers were charging. I told both him and Isaiah no.Then the final words from Isaiah, quoting verbatim here, were "All I can say to you was good luck," with a hint of frustration. That concluded my whole experience with them. This dealership overcharges you for the same CPOs you can get at other place. And if you are shopping for used cars, say goodbye to the lifetime warranty they are immensely proud of.

Great Salesman Ivan Sanchez. Great Subaru Forester. Great managers. Great Finance Guy Bilal, Great general manager Chris Sisco. Great Dealership. Great Great Great. What can I say. This dealership has sold my family 3 subarus in the last 5 years. They don't play around. They tell you what they are selling you and give you many finance options available. I financed my car and came away one satisfied customer with a brand new Subaru Forester. Awesome car. I drove it to work and back home and it drives like a dream. By the way the service department is top notch also. I have been there and they don't jack up the prices and try to upsell you service you don't need.

Had the pleasure work do business here and I'm glad I got the car of my dreams and im thankful for Constantine for helping get the car

Received the attached response from the dealership which only strengthens my case and original impression. I never once disputed the reason why I was not able to get my car that day. What I argued is that the way the situation unfolded was entirely mishandled by the dealership. Their lack of organization and timeliness in getting approval from the bank wasted me weeks of my time and the way in which they "broke the news" was humiliating and rude. They came across extremely condescending, unhelpful, and displayed zero empathy. They indicate that the deal they offered me was only $1.30 extra per day. I do not feel like going through the math to determine if that's accurate or not, nor do I really care because the point is that they offered me a finance plan for longer terms than I wanted the car for (72 months), for $80 extra per month ($480) on a $26,000 sedan... original lease offer was $400 per month for 3 years. The dealership's complete tone deaf response does not take into account the additional monthly hardship that their "generous" deal would pose for a working class customer and it was not the original offer they promised. If they were unsure they should have conferred with the bank ahead of time. I am sure that this could not have taken more than a few minutes. They decide to put their focus on the bank not approving my deal rather than on their poor management of the situation - again their only interest is money. It's nice to poke fun at other people's hardship as long as it makes you look good. Sadly for them it only makes them look worse. Good riddance!
