I've given them several chances and they have on multiple occasions given some sort of issue. - They have broken my oil plug and when I went to another location Jiffy Lufor my next oil change they said they it had to be replaced but I had to pay for it because it was an issue at another location and could not be verified - They replaced my air cabin filter but somehow put it in all scrunched up and it was making weird noises an was not filtering correctly - Came in during the Black Friday deal for an oil change, they confirmed the $25 with the coupon but then only give $15 off. Stopped back in to resolve it and was told a manager wasn't in and was told to call him. Finally got a hold of the manager weeks later and was given a rude comment "yeah not a big deal, it's $10 if you want to come in for $10 that's fine". It's not about the price, it's about the principle. Be apologetic about the your mistakes and don't try to belittle the customer. Realistically it's not about the $10 but we wouldn't have came in during the sale if we weren't going to get the sale price. It's annoying to have to go BACK in to resolve an issue the caused. When we came for the refund they did give it and didn't cause much more of an issue but this is going to be the last time we visit this location.

On 11/19/2025, between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM, I brought in my 2007 Honda because it was pulling strongly to one side. If I let go of the steering wheel even for a second, the car would drift toward the sidewalk, making it a serious safety issue. When I arrived, Jose (name provided by Eddie) took my keys and had a mechanic inspect the vehicle. After the inspection, Jose called me inside and told me that everything was fine with my vehicle and that all I needed was four new tires. I knew this was not accurate because worn tires alone do not normally cause such a severe pull. I asked the mechanic who inspected my car whether installing new tires would fix the issue, and he immediately disagreed. He pointed out additional problems with the tie rods and other components, confirming that the vehicle had more significant issues. When Jose overheard this conversation, he became aggressive and said, "You need fucking tires. I told you. you Don't follow recommendations." He then walked away, ignoring me. I asked for the manager, and Eddie stated that he is the manager. When I asked Eddie for a cost estimate for the necessary repairs, he looked at me with a smirking, dismissive expression. He stared at the computer screen and began mumbling, pretending to be professional while clearly gaslighting me. His behavior was extremely unsettling--something I have never experienced at Mavis before. Eddie never provided a cost breakdown. I asked him why he was behaving this way when all I wanted was to have my car properly diagnosed and repaired. I also made it clear that I had no issue purchasing new tires as long as the main safety problem was addressed first. Eddie responded by saying, "I make a lot of money. I don't need more business." This statement was alarming and completely unprofessional. At that moment, it became clear that neither Eddie nor Jose had any concern for customer safety, ethical conduct, or even the business's reputation. Their actions were not just unprofessional--they were parasitical, showing a complete lack of morals, accountability, or respect. Based on their conduct, it is clear that these two employees cannot be trusted, and they should not be allowed to interact with customers inside the garage area under any circumstances. Their behavior raises serious concerns regarding honesty, safety, and proper oversight.

Yes their prices are high but I enjoyed their expertise, thorough work, free shuttle service, and clean and inviting waiting area. But on my last visit I was quoted a price over the phone for tire replacement and a regular oil change and multipoint inspection. When I arrived for the appointment the technician gave me a price a couple hundred dollars more than that. So I requested to speak to the manager. When I explained the situation to the manager he was very short and agitated with me and said that if I didn't have the quote in writing there was nothing he could do. After I canceled my appointment he sarcastically told me to have a nice day on my way out. I haven't been back since. It's a shame as I only take my vehicle to dealerships and now have to go further out of my way to a dealership that is more considerate.

    Had a recent experience with the DCH Toyota where my wife took a car in 4 a recall repair. They…read morefixed the recall and also completed a multipoint inspection. When they were done they took a video and sent my wife an estimate for other repairs her car needed. Initially impressed because she forwarded me both. I thought it was fairly thorough. However, it was a $2,200 estimate and I told her I could do the work with a buddy of mine. They pushed for her to do it there as one of the things in the video stated she had a hole in her oil pan. Worried about her losing oil. We had her take the car home. I monitored the oil and I had her not drive unless she had to and this time no oil was lost. Now where they lost a lot of stars was in actually doing the repairs. I felt the estimate was too high and granted what some of these things you need not only the know-how but the tools but have both. While her rear brakes were one of the issues they identified and they did need to be replaced along with the rotors and then have one of the calipers rebooted which I was able to do. When I remove the oil pan there was no hole in it. Before I took it off I inspected the pan which was dirty. I cleaned it and looked for any oil drips and there was nothing there but figured I already had the car up. Had the part I might as well. Just do it and to my surprise there was a small dent in the pan that had some paint removed but nowhere was there a hole. That line item was over $700. Well I think if there was a hole it would have 100% had to be replaced and it's not as easy as changing a pair of brakes. I'm rather disappointed that they cited a hole and there was not and took a video which I never bothered to check before ordering the parts because I assumed they would not say something is wrong if it wasn't because they did take a video as evanesite and I think that's completely unacceptable. The only reason I did not give them one star was that in doing their multipoint inspection they found a bolt that had come out of part of the car that they took a video of. My wife had said she'd been hearing noises from that part of the car so I definitely believe it was missing and they replaced it through to safety concerns which I felt like they did not have to. But I would be wary of a repair estimate from here and would get a second opinion. The pro of coming back to DCH Toyota would be that they are using all genuine Toyota parts.
