I have a "No Peddling" sign on my front door that the Town Of Hempstead sent me for their no solicitating program that I requested to be in. Solicitors are not allowed to knock or ring my doorbell or anyone else's house who has that sign. The ballsy guy named David still rang my bell with the sign clearly right in front of his face. I will be reporting them to TOH and they will be getting a fine for disturbing my peace. These salesman are like roving vultures walking up and down my block all the time waiting for one sucker to just say "Yes". They hire out sub contractors and don't even do the work themselves. They probably pick up day laborers from the Home Depot parking lot that they sub the work out to. We asked for someone to come give us a free estimate for siding on our house. The woman came out and stayed for 3.5 hours, wouldnt leave even after my mother in law called me with an emergency. She gave us a 56k estimate for siding and then said she could lower it with all these bogus programs she magically got us approved for, lowered it to 30k. When we said we needed time to think it over, she said the offer was only valid while she was there so we needed to make a decision NOW. We couldnt get her to take no for an answer and my husband finally told her he felt very pushed and would like her to leave. It ruined our whole day and was so astronomically priced. That so-called estimate turned into a one-hour-long sales presentation, and I had to firmly tell them to leave. Have interacted with the company on 2 separate occasions. I agreed to a consultation/meeting to discuss window replacement with a meeting confirmed mid-morning, the next morning. The confirmation procedure had the sales guy call in to a scheduling department and confirm on the spot date and time. This is where the problem starts. I will focus on my most recent experience which was this morning. Meeting scheduled for 10am today to discuss window replacement for my house. At 7:44am today I get a call to confirm my appoint and ask questions. The guy on the phone (named Sam) failed in the most fundamental of sales approaches. Listening to the prospective customer. I asked they simply come at the agreed upon time and we can discuss then. This was not acceptable and he insisted on asking the questions. I reminded him of the time and that he woke me up with his call.... He called back approximately 8:45-9am again to confirm and ask.... Once again, I advised 10am is good time and we can discuss then. He again insisted on asking questions and would not stop talking nor listen to me. The conversation quickly devolved into him and I both talking over one another. He ultimately hung up on me after I told him he wouldn't shut up long enough for me to get a word in edgewise. It was disappointing as I really am thinking of getting new windows.... The experience prior to that described above was very similar. The lack of savvy sales skills is apparent. 1) Persist and control the conversation. 2) Blindly adhere to the procedure. 3) Talking is more important than listening. I would never buy product from this company based on the lack of professionalism displayed by the customer facing staff. We received a quote and signed a contract for a vinyl siding project on the front of our home When the scheduler came we were informed that they had measured wrong and the cost of the project would be almost double. We tried to come to an agreement on an increase that would still fit into our budget, but they could not come close. We let them in about 9 months ago, they stayed for 3 hours of coercion. The $42k for 6 basic windows with financing is BANANAS. Even without any financing, the prices aren't great. Found out it was the same company and they have called me 30 times in 3 days all from different numbers so I can't block them. Made the mistake of agreeing to a "Free Estimate" for nee Siding after a representative knocked on my door. The inspection turned into a 2 hour ordeal with a power point presentation and samples of styles and colors with the understanding that my house was ready to fall down. In the end they quoted me 90k but said they could do 70k if I sign right now. My house is only 1,300sqft. If you call these people you are guaranteeing a waste of time with a used car salesman in your kitchen. The night started with an actual show, he came in with his sales face on and the most non-human pitch. It sounded like I had an AI human inside of my house. He showed us powerpoints after powerpoints about stuff that, to be frank, I could care less about. Then he went and did an "inspection" of our home. He made everything out to be worse than it was. As young homeowners, I was so upset and worried about this brand new home I purchased. He went in my attic and caused an actual scene. Black mold everywhere this and that. Low and behold we called a mold expert, no mold. Told us the roof was going to collapse with the next snowstorm on Sunday. If your sales tactic is to scare homeowners, you are a disgrace of a company. He changed his entire demeanor after being in our attic and seeing our roof. He was so angry that he actually started to talk to us like we were incompetent. Unfortunately, he didn't realize he was dealing with a highly educated young woman and a tradesman. We called his bullshit before he could even write us a quote which we knew was going to be a joke. He went out to his car to go get his props to try to wow us on the roof installation, that undoubtedly he learned in an online teaching and powerpoints. He gave us an estimate after 3 hours of the show he put on, $60,000 but if we sign today it's $50,000 and at that point I was pissed. So I spent an hour trying to chew him down even more just to waste his time as he had wasted so much of ours. 4 hours in total and he left with his head down. Chewed him down to $43,000, so if you have better judgment don't call these people. If you don't, try chewing them down, because $60,000 for a roof is beyond words. Call a local contractor. The person who comes and does an estimate on your home should have calluses and dirty hands. Not a computer and 0 real knowledge on what it is they're talking about. He left our house at 9pm, in which he came back to try and give us a lower price after we previously said we would think about it. We got a full PowerPoint presentation after him being here for 4 hours, and then the partner with him just sat on her phone the entire time. For new siding, a roof and windows (we don't even need), we were quoted at over $160K. Our jaws hit the floor, and he kept trying to make us feel bad for not signing, that we weren't taking care of our investment. He even went around to measure everything and take a look, and started pulling up the trim around our windows to look underneath, so now we have to get that replaced. Be prepared to have 4-5 hours of your busy life dealing with this company; the woman that came to our house did an inspection and everything was bad with our roof; after this cane the top of the line product they used to replace a roof that basically is the standard in our neighborhood; she bragged about a "GAF" certification that must roofers uses and will be the same shingles another company will put in your house for $30000 less. In any case we were impressed with "the top of the line", 50-year guarantee, etc. the saleswoman took pictures and measurements; and gave us the full cost: $60000 and low interest financing. After 4 hours of this we agree and sign a contract. "BIG MISTAKE". This process was done on a Friday; she told us that the following Monday or Tuesday someone will come to inspect the "Scope of Work" and go over the measurements. She told us that we will receive the contract signed via email the same day, NEVER RECEIVED IT. The "inspector arrived late that Tuesday and started asking questions about the work they will be doing. When we asked why you were asking me if we spent 5 hours and he was supposed to have the work order or whatever such a document is called. He didn't have any notes on his tablet. Then he asked us if we had it, we told him we don't even have a contract yet, which he even found strange. BUT HOW COME AN INSPECTOR COME TO GO OVER THE JOB AND DIDN'T HAVE IT DOCUMENTED?? To us that was a big RED FLAG. We tried to call the company all day Monday and Tuesday trying to get the contract that was signed on her tablet that Friday, but nobody could give us an answer. ANOTHER RED FLAG. Customer service was rude and condescending. We asked for the saleswoman to call us back and we never received it. The "inspector guy was asking us if we wanted the skyline to stay; at that point it was a joke. On this $60000 roof project was again 2 BULLETPROOF skylines and he didn't know because he didn't have THE CONTRACT EITHER. After screaming and refusing to continue with this project the saleswoman came back Wednesday. With all the apologies and sales pitch that WAS memorized and robotically; they are trained to do. Suddenly there was a miscommunication, and they DID EMAIL the contract; but they are willing to cut the price of the project $5000 and the interest rate of the financing from 11% to 9%. At this point we just realized that it is a scam and we made a mistake in letting these people convince us of an overpriced roof that will last you 50 years. What a joke. Then the saleswoman had the nerve to ask my wife to check her phone to see if we in fact didn't receive the contract because it shows on her end that it was sent. We asked her to leave. It is an insult to our integrity and common sense. How a salesperson is allowed to be so disrespectful and stupid. When my wife told her that she is not touching her phone; that the contract has to be canceled and leave her reply was that MATERIALS WERE ALREADY ORDER!! How will a roofing company order materials when an inspector has to come first, revise and make sure what materials we will need??? That makes no sense. A year ago, we decided to get estimates for a new roof for our home. I was a retired businessman for a couple years and had nothing but time on my hands to get educated on roofing materials and manufacturers. My wife said to me "become a roofing expert." I'd met with about 15 roofing contractors at my house before the wife and I settled on one awesome company and couldn't be more pleased. The salesman actually said to me "you really know your roofs and materials and could probably be a salesman for us." We both laughed. One of the contractors we met with was Victory Home Remodeling. OMG! The salesman, a 25 year old African- American fellow came and I just couldn't get him to leave until 3 hours of high pressure sales tactics had passed. He had given me an estimate of $63,000+ for a new roof on a 2200 square foot home. The sales guy even said to me "I think you're lying to me" when I said I need to discuss this with my wife. At that point I said I think it's time for you to pack up and leave now. Then it was another 15-20 mins before he left. They still call, text, email (I block them everywhere) and today two black guys from Victory stopped by unannounced pounding on my door soliciting. Was looking to get some windows done, and Victory happened to be canvassing my area. I set up an appointment for 6 o'clock the following evening. I received a call in the afternoon to verify that I would be home. Inspector showed up on time and she was very pleasant and informative. We were about 20 minutes into our conversation when she said she was going to go out and get her flashlight and tape measure so she could do some measuring and inspecting. I remained in my house figuring I'd let her do her thing. About a half hour went by when I was curious to see how much progress she had made. I went outside and her car was gone! I checked my camera, and when she said she was going to get her tools 30 minutes prior, she got into her car and drove away. No inspection, no explanation, nothing. Bizarre. Victory was suppose to be supplying window estimate for my house. Their consultant Alex Archibald came claiming to be giving me a window inspection in the rain. Alex pulled on the window panel outside to the room my daughter was working. This allowed for water to get behind the panel and cause the outlets under the window to fail. When I called HQ to tell them what happen, they just claim that that would have happened eventually anyway. They refuse to accept the responsibility of their consultant and repair those outlet. So I am doing everything that I am able to, as a 66 year old veteran, that I am able to do since they refuse to repair the 2 outlets under that window. DO NOT ALLOW VICTORY HOME REMODELING DO ANYTHING TO YOUR HOUSE BECAUSE THEY WILL LEAVE IT WORSE THEN WHAT IT WAS BEFORE THEY ARRIVE AND WILL NOT ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY. read more

They've woken my baby during nap times on multiple occasions and still wouldn't leave while the baby was crying. Had work done a couple years ago by victory very expensive, could've gotten it cheaper but needed the work done right away and my stone driveway was full of roofing nails when they were done. Nice workers one guy spoke English, and one guy was probably picked up at the home depo parking lot he just stood around like he didn't know what to do and picked up some garbage. I finished my house myself; I did new windows a door, siding and paint. Now they keep showing up every couple months wanting to replace my windows. Just had one guy yesterday came back twice after I didn't answer the door and today 2 guys showed up at 6:15 pm luckily for them my wife answered the door and not me. They try to give the hard sell and won't leave. After she said my husband says no they asked her her name, and I just yelled don't even tell them your name just say no. Then they left. read more

Update 04/28/2025: After receiving a very constructive call from Jon at Victory Home Remodeling we discussed their business practices and how/why they call the way they do and canvas in the areas they are already working in. I have never been reached out to by someone who took the time to explain the situation to me and try to right this wrong. Even though we had a bad first encounter we are not calling Victory Home Remodeling out when we eventually are ready for our remodel. Original Post: I honestly wish I could give this company an honest review based on the work the do but I want to give them zero stars for their terrible business model to try and get clients. After being reached out to after purchasing our house, saying on the phone MULTIPLE TIMES we are not ready to entertain quotes for work, we had a representative come not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES knocking at our door when we weren't home and were at work. The guy said he'd been in a traffic accident and wouldn't be able to make it. Then I got a call from the office, saying the salesman had been delayed on another estimate and they needed to reschedule. Two lies in the same afternoon. I told them then that their company wouldn't be doing my roof. Still, they keep calling me. They say they'll take me off their list to call, then call again. They've called me at least five or six times. The latest was on a SUNDAY EVENING!! I've even written to the CEO. Nothing works. I hired Victory to install a new roof which included a shingle venting system to bypass my inefficient soffits. The system was installed incorrectly, which Ray, the final inspector, admitted to. I was told by Ray that "it was my problem" and that Victory would not correct it. I had to buy baffles and install them myself. Victory reimbursed me for the baffles and paid me $300 for my troubles. Not nearly enough considering that they should have stood behind their service and products and corrected the faulty install in the first place. Buyer beware! read more

I looked up their reviews on Yelp and see this customer service harassment is an issue with Victory. Finally, I told a representative that I would not be following through with a consult after reading their reviews on Yelp and being displeased with the persistent calls. I asked them not to call me again... so he sent me an another text with a link to the reviews on their website instead (all 5 stars of course).... Salesman came to our door and quoted us 93,000 for siding on our modest-size home. If we took out a loan from them, after all is said and done it would have cost us nearly $250,000. BUT if we signed by that night and allowed them to take photos of our home for their "website" -- the price COULD go down to 67,000. Which was still a hard pass. Got plenty of quotes for our siding ranging between 20,000-30,0000. The salesman also spend 4 hours at our home and stayed til 11pm. Wouldn't take no for an answer. RUN. read more
