This was as great an experience as one could have expected replacing a clutch…read more My clutch went out on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30ish. We started calling around with no one willing or capable in our first five calls. My brother in-law got a hold of Darren who said he would check on it on Sunday if we could get it to shop. We got a call back on Sunday for a heads up on the job...that's his day off. After they pushed back or reschedule other jobs for us (traveling) they started Monday morning and we had our car back on Tuesday morning. Nice. Kayla who answered the phones and worked the office was joy to deal with. We had all our questions answered and peace of mind getting back on the road. Last words...this transmission shop is a no-brainer for no-nonsense. Thanks again.

My 1984 Chrysler Fifth Avenue needed new U-Joints and balancing. Brought it in thinking it would be refurbished, got a whole new one for $330.75!!!!! I was thrilled but still skeptical, slapped it on, and the car drives SO much better! Not that it didn't before, but now the car glides through the higher speeds and shifts, great customer service, gentleman at the front desk was polite, the lady that took measurements and communicated to me through the phone communicated to me the entire time and the hurdles and findings of my drive shaft and options. I wanted to do a 1 and done and went with their recommendations, I'm glad I did! Driveshaft took roughly 2 weeks to be done due to low staff. Car is a weekend car and a project I took on so I didn't mind the wait at all. I'll recommend these guys to anyone and any balancing and possible future machining will be my first stop!

I called and spoke to John. He ordered my part immediately, and my car was done the next morning. Talk about service!!! Reasonably priced and guess what??? John took my car over to American Smog and took care of the certificate for me. That is customer service that you just absolutely do not find anywhere anymore. Since I wanted to get my DMV tags quickly, I headed straight back over to American Smog, paid my fees and got my tags right away. A couple of days later, my check engine light came on (this had nothing to do with the first fix) and I called John immediately. He said bring it back in and let's see what the problem is. He figured it out right away and I'm taking it back in this morning. It was a simple fix, and I will be back on the road in no time. John was an absolute delight, and I appreciate his honesty and his integrity. I have already told four people about how awesome these guys are at Performance Brake and Muffler. There are not many places that you can trust anymore and I feel absolutely confident bringing my car here. Thanks guys!!!
