I was buying a used car remotely and called Performance Automotive to do the pre-purchase inspection. His price was reasonable, and he sounded very knowledgeable. The dealer dropped off the car the next day, and Walt called me less than an hour later. He told me not to buy the car under any circumstances, and gave me a list of problems with it to justify the decision. He was also very polite and understanding when the dealer did not pick up the car quickly enough and needed to be reminded. Walt is extremely professional, and a nice guy, too. He said that since he figured out the answer for me after a very short test drive and barely looking at it, without going through the full inspection, he didn't even charge me. Wow! I insisted on paying, at least something, and he did not want to take payment. He was happy to help, and he even offered I can call him for advice during my used car search, even if the car I find is nowhere near his shop. Wow again! If only all auto mechanics were as trustworthy and professional as Performance Automotive!

Their customer service is top-notch, and they set expectations clearly, which makes for a great overall experience. It's hard to say enough without sounding repetitive, but one thing that truly stands out is Ethil. He clearly puts his customers' needs and satisfaction first (I'm sure often above his own). His integrity and genuine care show in everything he does, and it's reflected in his team as well, which is rare to find these days. The quality of the work is outstanding, but the man behind the business is even more impressive. Respect Auto Works lives up to its name, and I highly recommend them.
