I am writing this right after my third Session with Dr. Vic. I WAS tempted to write one after my initial session a few months ago because I felt to damn good, but I wanted to wait until after a few follow-ups.
It is time to gush.
I admit that I was one of those who was raised to question chiropractors, but boy was I wrong. I am generally pretty fit and work out 4-6 times a week, but I am getting older with aches and pains popping up more frequently. With a mix of cupping, scraping, deep massage, and adjustments, I have NEVER felt as good as I do after any massage, stretch, or recovery process. My muscles have been tended to like never before with my flexiblity having markedly improved since I started going. The adjustments have taken a bit toget used to, but after learning how to relax, those satifying sounds (not the point, but are cool) are starting to be heard.
Not sure how to be any clearer, but after each session, I have felt like a new person. Bonus vibe, I am pretty sure I am taller after each session.
Lastly, a bit a bit about working with Dr. Victoria Champany, DC. She is inviting, low-presssure, and generous with her explanations about what is going on. Learning about each process and what they each address has been beneficial in me getting to know my body more. I appreciate her knowledge and willingness to share. While I have only known her for a cumulative three hours, she seems like a genuinely good human being, and I'm glad to support her practice!
Don't be thrown off by the signage on the door. She is part of a collective of practices that share a "gym" space, so you have access to all the equipment you could ask for. Finally, her rates are reasonable, and while my insurance does not cover it, Dr. Vic is worth every penny.
Highly recommend. read more
