I had chiropractic work here for the first time yesterday. My doctor was Victoria Champany, D.C. and she was excellent. She asked lots of questions and thoughtfully explained each procedure before performing it. She also made sure I was comfortable with each treatment throughout the appointment. I was there for help with neck pain. Victoria did soft tissue work, stretches, gua sha, and a few careful adjustments. She followed up the appointment with an email that contained links to videos of exercises she recommends for me and info about Thera Cane, a muscle release tool that can get to hard to reach places. The office is clean and tidy. It is located on the second floor and I didn't see an elevator. They have a private parking lot in back. I was pleasantly surprised to discover they accept Kaiser insurance. read more

They reviewed my medical history carefully and provided good advice on managing my condition going forward. The office was clean and the nurses helped make the visit comfortable. I have to leave this review after many attempts on my end to speak to different people including the owner herself, to see if there is a good explanation for their mistake. However, I am feeling I have wasted my time and my breath on trying to get to the bottom of it. I already had an unpleasant experience with the chiropractic side. My husband selected this place bc of the raving reviews however I was not seen by the doctor with the raving reviews but by a much younger gal, however nice and friendly, did not have the know-how to treat my condition. After going to a neurologist and a chiropractic office that actually ran 2.5 hours of testing on me before even attempting to treat me...I was informed I have been suffering from post concussion syndrome, vagal nerve has been impacted and many other things I will not list. So my warning is, if you have a minor condition and don't need proper testing perhaps this place is for you but in my experience it was not appropriate for the care I needed. Having said that. Bc I am not able to drive due to my condition I had to coordinate with my husband to drive me to my appointments. Therefore had to choose only the ones I absolutely needed. So you can imagine my disappointment when I walked in for my Chiro massage that the masseuse, Breyane, who booked me 75 minute massage the week before right in front of me was telling me that someone had changed the appointment time from 75 minutes to 50 minutes. What I didn't appreciate is having to wait outside for my husband for 25 minutes. What I didn't appreciate is the way both she and later the owner responded to the matter. What Breyane could have easily done was to ask the next person if they court wait 15 minutes and complete the massage that she herself booked instead of telling me sorry there's another person after you. But after my attempt to address this matter with the owner, I did not feel heard as the owner preceded to make accusations toward me that I must have alienated and accused her masseuse in front of another client -which I did not. And the owner continued to try to make me feel like I was mistaken that the previous appointments were made before mine when the masseuse herself told me she was surprised bc she made that appointment herself and then later received an email confirmation that the appointment was changed. All in all I had to cancel all future appointments bc during a time when my body is in fight and flight and need to feel safe and trust those who are treating me, the way they handled the mistake on their part and continued to not take responsibility but provide stories that didn't match up with each other had me feeling really upset. I went in yesterday needing to relax and instead my nervous system was triggered negatively. Would not recommend this place. read more

I've been going to Dr. Jackie for several years and I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my back which has/is causing a lot of pain. I sit a lot for work and more so with Covid. I have typical neck and shoulder strain, but recently also developed pain in my hip. Ahhh where do I even start! Finding Jacklyn and Candice are two of the best things that have ever happened to me. Jacklyn has helped me SO much with sorting out YEARS of chronic pain from scoliosis, has helped me get set up with strengthening and mobility exercises, custom arch support, and even a custom pillow! The time she spends to do myofascial work, explain what's going on with your body, and simple ways to strengthen/improve mobility in those areas is so so rare in the chiropractic field. I have seen over 10 chiropractors in my life and have worked under one before, so I absolutely know how hard it is to find quality care like this. I'm super bummed that one day I won't be local anymore and won't have access to their services! No joke, this is truly the best place to get chiropractic care. This isn't a quick adjustment type of place. You won't hear a bunch of cracking and popping either. Intentional adjustments are done when needed, mobility is tested and increased, muscle work is done, and exercises prescribed. If you are looking for solutions and are willing to do the work, this place is 110% for you. So grateful I found Jacklyn! Candice is an incredible massage therapist! She has completely transformed my understanding of muscles and how they relate to our joints. Warm and engaging, I felt relaxed and at ease... which, let's face it, when someone grabs your head and does a Steven Segal-like maneuver cracking your neck (with decidedly different results), it's really important to feel both relaxed and at ease. I was looking for a chiropractor with experience with pregnant ladies as I was suffering from back and sciatica pains already in the first trimester (I've had back pains before but it was more severe with the pregnancy). That's when I found Dr. Hsieh. She's been a savior during this pregnancy!! After every adjustment, I felt renewed as I could stand up straight again. She always made sure all the problems were taken care of before I leave the office. She also taped me up with the kinesiology tape to make sure I'm good to go until the next appt. Dr. Hsieh is very attentive. As I hit my third trimester, she knew I was having hip discomfort without me telling her. She taught me and my husband stretches and massages we could do at home to relieve the pressure. She really cares about the well being of her patients rather than just treating it as a business. I love this place. The massage therapist, Candace, is top notch. Frankly, I'd follow her anywhere! (and have!!) . She truly is a magician. At my last visit this Sunday she introduced me to dry brushing and to some CBD oil/lotion for my Psoriasis. I've never before come back so relaxed and peaceful. Took the best nap that afternoon. Blissful day. And 3 days later, I noticed the dryness and irritation on the large Psoriasis spot across my shin was diminished. I have been going to Dr. Jessie for a few months now. Not only is she the best chiropractor I've ever been too, she has also been able to help me with BBPV needs. She has cured my vertigo not once, but twice. She spends a lot of time with you gently adjusting you through massage and her table. I always feel better whenever I get adjusted by her. Additionally, it seems like I always come in with some new ailment which she miraculously seems to know how to address. Review for chiro and massage therapist. Dr Muxen helped to relieve some issues I was having stemming from past meniscus knee surgery. I didn't have proper Pt, and started to develop pain in my hip and lower back. She treated those areas and also noticed some muscles weren't firing properly and gave me some exercises to help strengthen. All of this helped tremendously. Then, she recommended I visit with the LMT, and she has lots of experience with athletes and was able to provide treatment that totally released my hips in such a way that I finally had full range of motion back! Amazing results with just one treatment, but I came back again after playing a lot of tennis, and she again found the tightest areas, and released them. I feel so much better! A phenomenal chiropractor like Dr. Lum is worth his weight in gold!!!!! I fell in a dance class on Monday, twisted my ankle badly and could barely walk - despite icing at regular intervals, a brace, advil and limited use. My regular chiropractor who is also a genius was out of town. What's a girl to do? See Dr. Lum!!!! He adjusted my ankle so it got moving again, got my hips aligned, my back and neck taken care of and taped me up. Then, when I thought it couldn't get better, he calls me that night to see how I'm doing and to check in. Dr. Jessie has done an amazing job with my 9yr old son who has Autism. At first, I was skeptical about taking him to a chiropractor. But, I have seen great improvement in my son after he started visiting Jessie. His sleep improved and he is active all day. His speech improved significantly. I met Dr. Jessie in October of 2016 at the Relay For Life kickoff. Jesse had donated 5 visits to her office for raffle that was being held and I won! My first visit with Jessie was amazing! I had her work on my neck and shoulders. When I left that day I was already feeling some relief. After meeting with her a few more times I told her about my 5 level Lumbar Fusion that I had in 1998. I had visited two chiropractors before for my back but each time it increased my pain a lot. I felt so confident in Jessie's ability that I asked her to work on my back . . . Wow! I have been living with chronic pain for 20 years. Dr. Jessie's skill has been very beneficial in easing that pain. On August 11, 2017 I was hit by a pickup truck while crossing Lincoln Avenue.
