My girlfriend got me a session at Element chiro for my Xmas present the session was probably very long overdue. The initial session began with an observation of my neutral postures to compare to what is considered the normal posture, followed by x-rays that I had then had a breakdown in a following session that had the adjustments done, I had my neck and lower back adjusted and I immediately noticed a difference in my mobility in my left leg and tenderness in my lower back that I think helped me during my move to Sacramento. I want to point out first that they were so helpful when I was transparent about my move they offered to send me jpegs of my x-rays to share with whoever I may be seeing for further sessions up here in Sacramento and offered to refer me to someone they know up here too (which I will likely follow up on once I'm settled here a bit more) second I want to point out that they were very upfront about pricing and there was no perception that I was being upsold on anything ( I was initially interested in possibly purchasing a high density foam neck adjustment thingy) but they mentioned I need to use it religiously and properly to see any results and didn't really press any further after the fact. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Garrett Woo at the Element. I told him about my sore back and how it impacted my ability to walk a long distance. Here is my honest review. I was recommended by several people to see Dr. Liu At element chiropractic. I've been to several chiropractors around Santa Clara County. Everybody provides adjustments and has helped me with my body and put me back on the path of being healthy. My injury was from a car accident back in 1994. I had low back pains that steadily got worse about two years after the accident. I didn't realize that my pelvis was out of alignment. Every two years and re-injure my back and have to get chiropractic treatment. It got so bad this year that you could see my pelvis was shifted to the left and I was walking with a noticeable limp. I was very worried that this could not be corrected. This doctors treatment is different from what I expected. I thought I was going to get the same level of adjustments as I've had from others. The doctors treatment is on the minimal side but the results were vastly effective and Corrected my tilted pelvis. It only took a few visits and I was back to normal. It was amazing. I can't believe it. When I compare it to the other treatment I get from other chiropractors, it was less but it corrected my problems a lot faster. I believe that this program at element chiropractic is a lot more thorough then any other treatment I received from other chiropractic doctors. Friendly, caring, warm and overall great environment. Dr. Liu is gentle, attentive, very detailed oriented and always very educative. I had been dealing with constant upper back pain that also had given me headaches to the point of throwing up at times, since years ago. I came to see Dr. Jennifer Liu after severely strained my ankle while playing soccer at Campbell park in SF. I was running and trying to stop the ball then all I remember was a "pop" sound to my  ankle...What follows was an excruciating pain and swelling. (Definitely not good) Two days passed and even after heavily iced, the pain was simply unbearable. My ankle swelled to the size of a big softball! Night time was especially rough because of the pain, I probably got ~2 hour of sleep a night! Yike! I never had a major ankle injury before, but that "pop" sound seemed serious so I decided to visit Dr. Jennifer Liu's office. The first thing I noticed is the office was colorful yet calm, made me feel quite relaxing. It was very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and attentive.  I got a sense that everyone takes great pride in what they do in this office. During my visit, Dr. Jennifer Liu was extremely sympathetic of what had happened and spoke in a caring tone. She explained about my ankle adjustment procedures of 1) What she is going to do, 2) How she is going to do it and 3) The benefit of it. Before my ankle adjustment she took the ex-rays of my entire body including my sprained ankle and the not sprained side for comparison. I was very appreciative that after the ex-ray, she took time to calmly explained and showed me of what had happened. The sprained ankle shown on the ex-ray was worst than I expected.  She explained that if not properly adjusted or corrected in time I could have a hard time walking when healed. Comparing the two ex-rays of the badly sprained ankle and the normal one it was pretty obvious and glad that I came to see her.  Soccer and salsa social dancing are my passion, I simply can not imagine life without these activities with comfort! For my procedure, she carefully and confidently adjusted the ankle while ensuring and measuring my level of comfort. I got the sense that she is highly experience because she adjusted it with ease. What I greatly appreciate also is her deep knowledge and understanding of the science of chiropractic and her ability to explain in layman's terms, the root cause of my pain and swelling.  I don't know the full science behind it, but i just know that after the very first adjustment procedure, I feel an immediate relief. With all the swelling and pressure on my ankle, I just felt like the 1000 pounds weight on my ankle has been cut loose!  I must say when I got home that night I slept like a little poppy!  I was so pleased that I immediately made another appointment. Thank god, there was a spot available. After the second adjustment, I am was almost 100% back to normal. I am very happy. My conclusion is, if you are a dancer, soccer player, runner, geek tech dude like me, mom, dad, baby sitter, CEO, CFO or what ever the category that you might fall into, this is a place that I would STRONGLY recommended if you have a chiropractic needs.
