Forward Chiropractic is such a wonderful establishment in many ways, especially the dedicated, caring, results-driven Dr. Sinha, Dr. Lynnard, and the therapists. I had post-pregnancy, deep-seated foot issues, and am currently trying the shockwave therapy, which has helped me immensely. To elaborate: I struggled with plantar fasciitis as well as compromised areas around the rest of my foot, and I can't tell you the relief I've had from the shockwave therapy. It has broken down some problem points, as well as has identified "root-cause" pain points that were referring pain to other areas of my foot--quite enlightening. I suffered for over a year and a half without any solution that seemed to be working, until this. I also see Forward Chiropractic for adjustments; I'm pregnant with my third, and am trying to stay ahead of back pain--I didn't go for one week and definitely felt the difference in not going, so plan to go weekly if I can help it. I've also seen the massage therapists who are wonderful and very in tune with how to address what needs to be addressed. Dr. Lynnard is amazing - he's helped me recover from a severe lower back injury while playing tennis. Based on a referral from a friend, I recently started seeing Dr. Sinha and Dr. Lynnard for chronic back pain. I think it stemmed from repetitive injuries from rowing, incorrect strength training form, daily posture, etc. For weeks, I had tried PT, salt baths, foam rolling, massages, and stretching, but experienced only sporadic, slow improvement. Although I continue to do these, I decided to try chiropractic care (which was new and a bit scary for me). I explained my nervousness to Dr. Sinha. In my initial exam, she was very professional and spent extra time asking a lot of questions, telling me everything she was doing, and making me feel comfortable. She also explained that chiropractic care is not just "cracking" (my own definition at the time) - instead, it involves utitlizing a variety of techniques to help you get to your goal - which for me, is to row again. After a long detailed initial exam, Dr. Sinha did soft tissue mobilization (which involves loosening scar tissue), electronic stimulation, and rock tape. It was actually a very relaxing, educational appointment for me. Because I learned so much in this first exam, I decided to try chiropractic adjustments w Dr. Lynnard in my next exams. Just like Dr. Sinha, he is professional, patient, and understanding. I was amazed at how the adjustments didn't hurt one bit and felt so good. After those visits, I was able to sit and bend my back again with much less pain. Although my improvements subsided after a couple days, I knew I wanted gradual gains - not quick - to last longer in the long run. To continue at home, I was also given a personalized exercise plan. I'm so glad my chiropractic adjustments are covered by Blue Cross Anthem HMO. Their office coordinated this in a day! But most of all, I am incredibly glad to have found Forward Chiropractic. Well, my first appointment at Forward Chiropractic was a diagnostic appointment with Dr. Sinha--she was amazing! She's thoughtful, intelligent and a good diagnostician. She asked a lot of questions and was very thorough in getting to know me and my "issues". There's no cookie cutter treatment here! Everything is very individualized. :) After the first diagnostic visit, I was seen for additional visits by Dr. Cabanas for Chiropractic work. Again, really impressed! I was a little afraid to have chiropractic work done (it looks pretty scary when you see it done), but Dr. Cabanas is careful, kind, and takes the time to explain what he's doing and asks how you feel about it. He never does anything you're not comfortable with! The added bonus? I'm a yoga teacher and I do neck mobility exercises daily--but for the past 5+ years or so, the movement has felt constricted and comes with pain, and crunching/grinding noises. I had also been getting frequent "cricks" in the neck and upper back/shoulders that would last weeks at a time with severely restricted movement and increased pain. Well, after a few treatments I can really notice increased mobility in my neck (and spine) and the crunching/grinding noises are becoming less and less! Plus no "cricks"! Wow! There are so many reasons why I love this place and the people who work within it. I first came here to have a more holistic approach for progress after it became clear I needed more than just chiro to overcome my many years of compounded injuries and inaccess to care. We started with 3x/week sessions where I'd work with Dr. Sinnha to loosen up all that built up scar tissue and tension in my back and neck, followed by a session with Dr. Lynnard to even me out and do adjustments. He really eases into his adjustments with stretches and they are gentle and effective. I've had a total of 3 chiropractors so far and he's the best! Although you don't get any imaging done here, their team is able to listen to your verbal and body feedback at every followup visit to make sure everything issue tended to. Highly suggest working out a long term plan with these services because quick recovery isn't long-term recovery. They're definitely in it to help you for the long road ahead.
