I went in due to some major numbing and pain in my lower back and after a single adjustment there were noticeable improvements. Dr Andrea is extremely knowledgable and helpful when she walked me through the issues found after examination and xray. Can't recommend enough. read more

I booked an appointment for an initial consultation. Went in, was assessed and was recommended that I get imaging. I was happy to do it. Unfortunately, they put me in a strange position when they refused to book my next appointment unless my husband was present. When I politely told them that I didn't need my husband and if I could pick an appointment that works for me, they did not listen to me and forced me to take a delayed weekend appointment because my husband doesn't work weekends. I left giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I misunderstood etc. A few days later, I canceled my appointment in hopes of getting an appointment that best worked with my schedule, as I am in chronic pain and don't want to schedule based on my husband's availability. I let them know explicitly that I was canceling my appointment because I needed to book on my availability, not my husband's. The gal literally responded with, "Would your husband be available to video call in?" At this point, my frustration and overall "ick" confirmed that this is not the chiro for me. For as much pain as I live in, it's illogical to delay care unless it works with my husband's schedule. As an Army veteran, I do not appreciate being made to feel like I need a chaperone. As a 40+ year old woman who is (for all intents and purposes) the CEO of all things medical in our family, this felt needlessly sexist. When I directly asked why I needed a chaperone I was told, "I'm sorry you feel that way; it's not a chaperone it so that he can sign off/approve of [my] treatment plan". After I picked my jaw off of the ground, I let them know that it wasn't working out and I would not be rebooking with them. read more

Review I've been going to Advanced Chiropractic since mid December of 2022 because I was experience sciatica during the first trimester of my pregnancy. It took me a few weeks to research a reputable chiropractor that was experienced in providing services to pregnant. Around mid December of 2022, I completed my consultation and have not looked back. I have been going twice a week to manage the sciatica but also to help prepare my body for birth. I am currently 26 weeks and I finally stopped experiencing sciatica triggers for about 4 weeks now. I am seeing positive results with my body and I am feeling great at 6 months. I really appreciate my time with Dr. Sarah. Not only does she provide the adjustments my body needs but she also helps with some stretches in my hips and glutes. It is the extra attention I appreciate from a healthcare team. My husband dropped in on patient appreciation day, and Dr. Andrea was able to learn that he had slight scoliosis just though a physical exam. He took X-rays which were covered by Advanced Chiropractic and the images did reveal scoliosis! My husband is now signed up on his own treatment plan and getting adjusted three times a week for the past 1.5 months now. He says that he can feel a positive shift in his back and looks forward to seeing improvements in his next set of X-rays. Who would have know this would become a family experience?! We are continuing our care at the moment and look forward to each appointment. Their knowledge in chiropractic care is reassuring and we would recommend them for both regular and prenatal care! read more

The clinic was clean and the staff was polite without being over the top. I had a few concerns that I'd been putting off and figured I should finally get looked at. The doctor asked good questions and gave practical advice that actually made sense. They took the time to go over my symptoms and didn't jump to conclusions. I liked that they explained a few options instead of just saying what to do. The assistant was also calm and helpful which made the whole process a little easier. Not a perfect visit but honestly a pretty good one. read more

After the initial consultation, I was asked to bring my husband to the next appointment for treatment discussion in order to purportedly get him to participate in my recovery. This was not just a suggestion. I was told to schedule the next appointment in a way that ensured my husband's attendance. This was bizarre. Needless to say, I'm not going back. read more

I met Dr. Andrea at farmer's market. After having my children I knew I'd need to see someone for the tingling discomfort in my hands, wrist and lower back that I have daily. After initial tests it was apparent I had a lot of weakness in multiple areas. I finally decided to take this seriously and got further examinations to see what's going on. I appreciate that Dr. Andrea was very specific with which areas to treat and for how long. After the first few adjustments, weaknesses that I was living with for a long time that I thought was just my life changed. The alleviation of pressure on certain nerves allowed more strength and resistance in my right leg again and I noticed a lot less sciatic pain in the lower back as well. There's still a bit more work but I certainly have noticed improvements that feel detrimental to me. Dr. Andrea is wonderful and her office staff is great to work with regarding scheduling. I'm so happy I made the decision to work with Dr. Andrea! read more

The team at Advanced Chiropractic is caring and professional and the office is beautiful. I had been seeing Dr. Andrea for years with great results in my spine mobility and recently began working with Dr. Alicia when my work schedule changed. Dr. Alicia has been helping me through a big flare up of an old shoulder/neck injury following my recent use of crutches after a foot surgery. I'm genuinely grateful (and impressed) by Dr. Alicia's knowledge and problem solving regarding complex shoulder and neck problems. No review of this office would be complete without mentioning Bear and Oso, the sweetest and cutest unofficial therapy dogs, that come to work with Dr. Andrea. read more

Dr. Andrea friese is amazing! I've gone to a Chiropractor since January 2020 and I have never felt this good. The staff and pupper are so great. I pulled my lower back working out in 2019 and usually get adjusted biweekly. One visit with Dr. Friese and I have never felt this good, and tension free. Not just my lower back but my entire body felt taller, better, and free. Highly recommend going here! read more

Having been a fitness professional in the past & always incredibly active, I have been receiving Chiropractic care most of my adult life... which is a long time. From NY to Miami to Oakland & SF; & I can tell you Andrea & her practice are the best there is! I could not continue to train if it were not for her care. She is incredibly knowledgeable & has helped me avoid surgery & medication on a consistent level. read more

Dr Andrea and Dr Christina are wonderful. I felt the need to update my review because I hope this helps many families. We started going with our 6 and 2 year old on a weekly basis back in March. My 2 year old son was not talking much, he was irritable all the time (something as simple as his sister wanting to give him a kiss would set him off), he did not like interacting with anyone but mom and dad, not even his sister! It was really difficult for us and we were going to get him tested because his behavior was concerning. Since we started going for adjustments once a week, he started coming out of his shell, he is friendlier, more social, he started talking all the time (he doesn't stop lol!), he is a different kid! This happened in less than 3 months!! I don't have enough words to express how thankful I am to Dr Andrea and Dr Christina. I don't know how chiropractic care did this but it did. I have happy tears while writing this. Thank you again Dr Andrea and Dr Christina, you changed our son's and our family's life forever! read more

My husband found Advanced Chiropractic and they suggested I come in as well, to hear and understand his treatment. Because of my job, and being on my feet all day paired with third trimester pregnancy I decided to also give chiropractic treatment a try. We go multiple times a week, and the space is great. The receptionist Savannah is very friendly, and Dr. Kristina and Dr. Andrea are both great. I highly suggest this business for their honesty, treatment, and overall great service. read more

I've been going to Advanced Chiropractic for about 6 months and have nothing but incredible things to say. I've been seen by both Dr Andrea and Dr Sarah and would give them both a 10/10! The experience from the second you enter the office is warm and welcoming (Danielle at the front desk is so kind and personable!). The doctors both provide comprehensive and holistic care. The treatments are safe and effective and I'm so glad to be a patient here! read more

Dr. Frieze is an EXCELLENT Chiropractor! Not only has she gotten me out of pain with my back, she noticed some other health problems that I had, and I have taken care of those other problems through my GP. I cannot recommend anyone higher than Dr. Frieze. She is by far, the BEST chiropractor I have found! read more

She also has helped my small children with constipation issues and my husband with some neck pains. Andrea is honest, quick and incredibly skilled and experienced. She's the best of the best! read more

Dr. Friese is one of those people you don't want to give a good review because you don't want her to be too busy to see you. I have gone to dozens of chiropractors over the years and there seem to be 3 general types: the ones who go through a quick routine and send you on your way; those who want to sell you aarkvark jelly pills (for $200 a month) and those who know, as soon as they touch you that they know what they are doing. Dr. Friese is definitely the latter. Usually Ieave a chiropractor feeling crappy and hurt. I left Dr. Friese feeling younger and lighter. She's very thorough and knows what she is doing. read more

I have just started going to Dr. Friese and I have been really happy with the experience. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I have already noticed that I have more energy and feel less stressed at work. The adjustments are great and you learn a lot about your back, bones, and how that affects your well-being. I have also gotten massages from Jessica and she is fantastic. Very strong hands! It is always great to treat yourself to a massage and she does a great job, plus her rates are very reasonable. I am younger and I suggest anybody under 30 to start coming here and you will not be disappointed! read more

Just finished a 6 month treatment for past whiplash from about 20 years ago. I started experiencing extreme pain and nerve pinched. I went 3x weekly and now will go 1x weekly for continual stabilization. My curvature improved dramatically and feeling all sorts of emotional and physical improvements. I am overall in glee and proud to be a patient with Dr. Andrea. I recommend her treatment & care to anyone experiencing mild or severe depression, anxiety, and mental/physical stress. read more

Dr. Friese helped get me back into alignment after a recent trip abroad! I'm a photojournalist and my body and back can easily be misaligned on long assignments, where I'm not getting a full nights rest and carrying 20lbs of camera gear around is pretty standard. Her intuitive skills go and amazing comforting manner make visits to her office pleasurable. Highly recommend, one of the best in the Bay Area! read more

I recently transitioned to seeing Dr. Friese after a change in my health care benefits and a move to a new job where I needed someone who was close to my house and more convenient for me to see. I have really had an excellent experience with Dr. Friese so far. I feel very comfortable with her, and she has a way of explaining what is going on with my screwed up neck and upper body that for some reason resonates with me. She is the first person to tell me I had scoliosis, and the day after she told me, I went to my regular doctor for my annual, and she confirmed it. I really enjoy her personality and the laid back office. Also, the receptionist is super friendly!! The other plus: they have made the billing process easy for me with my insurance, as I can get whatever itemized billing statement I need immediately. And, they respond to email quickly!! read more

I have been seeing Dr. Andrea Friese for years, so it is about time I write a review for her. I like that fact that Dr. Friese is a mom herself, and knows how to work with children. I saw Dr. Friese throughout my pregnancy, and she is the only chiropractic I would trust with my daughter who is now 9 years old. Dr. Friese also saved my on many occasions when I thought I was going to die from back pain. Her adjustment may be quick, but very effective. Now that I am getting older I plan to see her more as a preventive measure. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect because I'd never been to a chiropractor. I was immediately at ease in Dr. Andrea Friese's office. I in NO way felt like she was "milking" me for money. It was actually the opposite. Our initial meeting was extremely informational. I learned about how my spine works and how it affects my body. She used diagrams, photos and x-rays to explain everything. She also had me do some stretches and she did a brief exam to evaluate my back. I was surprised to find out so many things I thought were "normal" were not. I've had menstrual cramps for years. Horrible-stay home from work- cramps. Doctors prescribed medications to solve the problem. I also had upper back/neck "tension" which I figured was due to stress. She showed me on a diagram where these areas are on my spine were. I decided to get x-rays done (which she offers as an option and the money isn't paid to her) and we found some really interesting things. The areas where I've had issues were visibly misaligned on the x-rays. I had visible proof that she wasn't milking me for money or lying. She was extremely flexible with what I could afford. I honestly felt like she wanted to help me and I actually felt like she has gone above and beyond what I pay to see her. I want to let everyone know I did not see results immediately. It definitely took more than two visits. I'm not sure if this is common but I"m glad I stuck with it. It was probably a month or two (2x a week) before I started to notice results. I no longer take any medications for my cramps!!! NONE! I get slight cramps but nothing like I used to. This was probably the most exciting thing for me. I've also felt more flexibility in my spine and the "normal tension" I felt is gone. I've also been very healthy, I haven't had a cold since I've seen her (I work in a high school and I'm surrounded by germs)! I'm so happy to have a natural cure to these ailments. Although my insurance doesn't cover my visits I know it is a cheaper and healthier option for me. read more

If you want to feel great leaving a chiropractor look no further. She really knows how to get you adjusted and feeling great and back in shape. Dr. Andrea Friese is amazing! I first came to her after a car accident. I was obviously in pain, stressed and in need of care. She has helped me so much since then! While physically treating me, she has also been comforting and has a great sense of humor. She is very down to earth. With her help, I have made so much progress in my recovery. Dr. Andrea is truly as good as it gets. I was EXTREMELY hesitant going back to the chiropractor after after a somewhat traumatic (and extremely painful) experience several years back, but Dr. Andrea was fast, professional, funny, efficient and, most of all, effective. I have suffered from lower back pain for decades due to scoliosis and an easily sprained SI joint. After 3 of months of adjustments I was back to yoga and running. After 6 months I was able to do backpacking trips several days long and have taken up mountain biking, both activities that would be been debilitating before Dr. Andrea. Not only did her care reduce chronic, debilitating pain, but I sleep better, have more energy and motivation, my mood has improved and, interestingly enough, have noticeably faster reflexes. I could not recommend her highly enough. read more

Dr. Friese knows her stuff. She is easy to talk to, she understands your pain and she adjusts with ease. She is great with kids (she has two of her own) and pregnant Moms (and even Dads). Dr. Andrea is the best! i have been to other Chiropractors and can say that she really knows what she is doing. I went to her with SEVERE back pain from a sports injury and in a couple weeks she had me feeling better than ever. Before that injury I had a history of back problems. I slipped a disc at 18 years old and worked in concrete for 2 summers in college. Playing one round of golf would have me putting ice on my back when i got home. After a month of seeing Dr. Andrea, not only did she help me through my injury, but I can now play an 18 hole round of golf with no post-round back pain. I also suffer from frequent migraines, cluster migraines to be specific, about 2-3 per week. I mentioned this to Dr. Andrea and she said she could help me with those, which I didn't know a chiropractor could do. I can say that since she has started treating them I have noticed a significant reduction in the amount of migraines I get. I have had only 1 in the last 2 weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Andrea and guarantee that you will be just as impressed as I was. Also, the receptionist, Taylor, is very nice and helpful with paperwork and scheduling appointments. read more

I put off doing anything about my back and neck pain for many many many MANY months. Finally I just couldn't stand the constant ache/pain any longer and found Dr. Andrea Friese and her practice on Alberto Way in Los Gatos. I had no idea how to choose a chiropractor so merely chose her office because it was close to work and took my insurance. I am so grateful that I chose her now that i wanted to write a review. I was a bit weary going to a chiropractor having heard horror stories about how painful adjustments can be, but I had the opposite experience; I am constantly surprised how such simple, painless adjustments can bring relief. I've even grown a little taller! If you are looking for a down to earth chiropractor who explains everything well and is easy to talk to, and actually listens and responds to your needs, then you won't be disappointed! read more

Ever since I messed up my back doing some yoga backbend I've had issues with my back with a pain in the mid back, between the shoulder blades & sometimes issues with pinched nerves causing acute pain. Dr Andrea has been my savior, I don't know what I would have done without her - my back pain is now gone!!!! I still keep going every 2 weeks or so for maintenance since I don't want to risk going back to the pain I suffered for a long time. Dr Andrea and her staff is extremely friendly, helpful and flexible and she always answers all my questions patiently. She even adjusted my twisted ankle to help it heal in the right place - SUPER! Even now when I'm pregnant (there is a special device you lie on with space for belly and breasts), I keep going and it's working great! Dr Andrea has my highest recommendation. read more

I first met with Dr. Andrea when I took my mother-in-law to her after she injured her back. She had a bad fall and was hardly able to walk. Only after two visits, the difference was incredible. She kept saying Dr. Andrea has miraculous hands! A few years later when my husband started having back issues, he decided to get treatment from Dr. Andrea. Sure enough, she worked her magic with him too. After witnessing their experiences, I went to see her with my shoulder pain therefore now she is our wonderful family chiropractor. Life and work can sometimes put a lot of stress on our bodies and we need a place to heal. Dr. Andrea is not only extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough but also genuinely cares about her patients. We also love her facility and the view from her office is gorgeous. Big huge windows overlooking beautiful greenbelt with tall trees give you the feeling as if you are being treated outdoors. It is a wonderful feeling to walk into this office and feel like you are being treated physically and spiritually plus you leave with such a positive vibe. Savanna, at the front desk, is professional and welcoming with the friendliest smile. She schedules appointments so that you almost never have to wait. Honestly, if you want to feel better, then do yourself a favor and come visit them. I always look forward to my visits. Thank you, Advance Chiropractic, you guys are amazing!! read more
