So, I took majorly took advantage of VS's annual sale and ordered some bras and a couple bikini tops online, and when they arrived 3 out of the 4 were too small. I searched the website to try to exchange for the right size, and unless I missed something they only do returns. So instead of dealing with that I decided I'd jump in the car and drive the 10 mins to the store. When I walked in, they were moderately busy n about to close, but I explained to the two women behind the counter my issue, and how I always have trouble finding MY exact bra size, and the younger girl came from behind the register and promptly gently measured me, told me my size and offered me a dressing room to try on said new size. I was let into the dressing room and was still having a bit of trouble, so I stopped an employee who was walking to the drawing rooms to ask if this new bra size actually fit me, and AGAIN she promptly stopped what she was doing, put the products she was carrying gently down and came in and adjusted my straps and helped me out. Idk how your company pics who they hire but you guys picked a winning team for SURE. The girls were super nice and incredibly helpful, even tho I came in late and they were busy. I have never walked out of a bra store happier and more confident about knowing my actual size. A HUGE thank you ladies-you guys absolutely made my night. Full on two customer service associates ignoring me and my man and not helping ring us up, too busy talking and flirting with an older man who was in the store, delaying service unnecessarily on a time crunch. If it was a little chit chat as one person helped and the other helped him, sure, but it was full on standing for an obscene amount of time as both women entirely just flirted with some guy in the line and I politely said "Sorry I'm in a bit of a rush" and she had a massive attitude with me, scoffing and tossing her hands my way like "Uhhh, okay HUN!" And its like, the girl who works there is already standing next to him and talking to him and could be talking to him and helping him, but no, both were just standing around chatting and joking with him as if the mall wasnt near closing time. And the nerve to be mad at me over it? And they both pretty much huffed and stared daggers at me for the rest of the interaction. Very strange people. Not to mention the seemingly Desi girl there, who acted like I was an alien from outer space for asking if some panties were in stock. Attitude issues. A little gaslighting thought I was going crazy, but I could clearly see on the receipt. I was not. I also had to return some items on a mail in order. My order was around $400 and I returned about $100 worth of that order and the girl told me I had to give back the free tote, I just gave it back with no argument because I just didn't wanna deal with that but after I got home, I realize that I had still spent about $300 so it was only $100 and you get a free tote so I'm not sure why she made me surrender it. she did not put it on the receipt either that I had returned it it was still fully packaged so I'm just wondering what they did with that? read more

After working I wanted to treat myself and remembered I had a vs coupon, went ​into this Victoria's secret to use a free panty coupon that came in the mail and was going to expired that day. It was around 7:50 when I parked, not knowing the mall stores close at 8pm. I want to add prior to getting into the mall they closed down a portion of the parking lot that I normally park in, so when I get out someone's alerts me telling me I can't park there so I drive around and find another spot. ​Making my way into Macy's they close their doors down to enter the mall so you're trapped inside. After hastily making my escape out of the Macy's store I going through 2 elevator to get back up to the level I was already on to get into the Vicky's store. Granted at this time I maybe had 3 minutes to get inside and get these panties and I was stopped at the door by it looked like the manager saying "​sorry we're closed, we are wrapping up our last customer at the front" I asked her if the registers had been counted and specifically told her the reason why I came down here to use the coupon and that was the only reason why I was there. Service is terrible. Didn't get a hi when going into the store or a welcome or anything which isn't too big of a deal. I also did not get asked if I was finding everything ok or if I needed help finding something. I only seen 2 associates walking around. As I waited outside the fitting room, the 2 associates were walking by and one asked if I wanted a bag to put my stuff in while I look around so I said no and asked for the dressing room. The second time I went and asked if I can use the dressing room again and she had an attitude about it. My husband was with me and I needed a bra in a different size so he asked one of the ladies and told her the size, but she brought me a complete different size than what was asked for. When I walked into the store, I was greeted and helped, but when I went up to the cashier, nobody was in line and she had a customer she was finishing with at the desk. It is 7:17 PM and hardly anybody was in the store... She told me to get in line in the middle and so I'm looking on the floor trying to figure out where the middle is... Within seconds she was finished with her customer comes around the Cashier table and goes I'll show you her body language was not appropriate (as if she had something better to do than help a customer)) And walks me to the cashier that's in the middle of the store with no line basically points and says right there in my opinion that is a lazy employee an employee that doesn't consider a customer first she wasn't pleasant. Pink is my signature scent. I only wear two perfumes one of which is the original Pink by Victoria Secret. I started wearing it when my husband and I were dating and he would hug me and tell me how good I smell. To this day that is one of my favorite compliments. I was walking in Safeway and a woman stopped, turned around and came over to ask me what perfume I was wearing. That is my epitome of good complements. Now they have variations of the scent but I always go to the original slim bottle and of course the lotion. I do like this VS a lot since the staff does not hassle you. They are kind of rude at the counter. And on this trip I wasn't bombarded with trying to sign up for a VS store credit card. I do all of my undergarment shopping at V.S. - I don't mind paying a little extra for comfort and quality. Plus, it's usually good service, once you get an employee to help you. I prefer the Walnut Creek store, but parking is a nightmare so I often come to Sun Valley Mall. Service here can be a little slower and hard to find. Last night I wasn't acknowledged at all until check-out, but the girl on the register was very nice and apologized for that. I found everything I needed and was really happy with the sale price for the "cheeky, low-rise" style. The cashier joked that I "must really like that style" :) perhaps I bought a lot?! :) That's okay with me... and with hubby! It's pretty much the only store my husband or myself could spend a lot of money in, and the other person would definitely never complain about it. I agree with Rhubarb C. You don't have to worry about going into this particular VS's and getting knocked over by 1,000 different scents. I love the lingerie, I love the layout (different rooms for various types of products) - HATE digging through drawers to find my size panties. There has to be a better way.... They are good about not hounding you when they ask if you need assistance and you say, "No thank you". As soon as I entered this Victoria's Secret location, I was promptly and politely greeted by a couple of the employees who were working on the clothing side. I walked around and looked at a few items on the clothing side while I was making my way over to the fragrance area. One of the employees approached me and asked me if I needed any help. I reached in my purse and showed her the empty roller-ball fragrance I wanted to replace. She lead me directly to the wall of perfumes and to the location of the fragrance I was hoping to purchase. She explained to me what deals were going on and asked if I needed help with anything else. I showed her the coupon I received in the mail for a free pair of underwear (up to a $10.50 value, no purchase necessary!) and asked her were those specific underwear were located. She pointed me in the right direction. I picked out the pair I wanted and checked out. The cashier who processed my transaction was very sweet and he asked me who had helped me today, stupidly I had forgotten her name (sorry!). As I was leaving, every employee I passed said goodbye to me and wished me a nice day. Every employee I came in contact with in this store was oh so friendly and seemed genuinely happy that I was shopping in their store. I will definitely be coming back to this location. To avoid driving in traffic after a long day of work, I decided to go shopping at the mall. Since I saw Victoria's Secret is having their semi-annual sale, I made sure to stop by. First off, if you wear a DD or DDD cup and want to take advantage of their semi-annual sale, GO WHEN THE SALE FIRST STARTS! It was definitely slim pickins when I went the other day. I had to go deep sea diving into all the bins only to find 2 bras that were in my size. It was definitely disappointing, but the woman that helped me at the cash register told me that the sale will be over in a couple of days. Anyway, I'm VERY satisfied with the customer service I received during this recent visit. Although it was busy, all of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Darlene saw me rummaging through the bins and helped me find what I was looking for. Since I've lost weight and have been toning up, she sized me and had me try on several bras until I found the perfect, comfortable fitting bra (which of course was in the Body collection, my all time fav). After that, she walked me back onto the floor and showed me where the bras were located (since I wanted to look at all the colors they came in and also get matching panties). 4 out of 5 stars. read more

Nice new storefront at the mall! They moved Pink across the walkway to the other side of the mall (gave it its own entire store), and now this one is solely VS (and they moved beauty to the back and cut down the size). The store is really big now and has a lot of products, I'm actually really impressed. I learned that you can return online purchases at a store, and also make exchanges in-store. What I DIDN'T know, though, is that you can order products from the catalog in the store, and they'll ship to you FOR FREE. Considering VS rarely has free shipping (unless you order $50 or $100 and up), this is great! read more

She answered a ton of questions I had about bra fitting and how to adjust them properly. She was very polite and knowledgeable and had many tips. Larae took nearly an hour with me to find a bra that I would like and leave happy with. We tried on several bras that she took the time to learn what I liked and disliked about each. I usually always have good experiences when coming to this location. There are always staff members to help you out if needed. There items are always well stocked and organized neatly. I come here almost every month because I get the free coupons in the mail for "a free panty & $10 off a bra" which may not seem as much at first but overtime it does save you a ton of money. The staff here are really nice and not snobby unlike at other locations. This store is by far the best and better than the Emeryville location and numerous San Francisco locations. It is located next to American Eagle and Charlotte Russe. During the semi annual sale, holiday season and Black Friday, this place can get quite busy! The manager of this store said to my sister that she can't do price adjustments because it's been over 14 days already since the purchase was made. So my sister said okay then she will return the items and repurchase it again,,, (she've done it before and it's not against their policy),,, but the manager told my sister that she's not comfortable doing that. Basically she said she is not comfortable doing her JOB! My sister was surprised and tried to explain it's not against their policy or she is not asking for something that is impossible to do just to get the same response again! SHE WON'T HELP HER! So my sister she asked her for her name and she said "I won't give you my name". I think the manager removed her name tag because she knew she was wrong. My sister had to go to VS store located in Walnut Creek to do the transactions. She had her 2 young children waiting for her with their grandmother to come home feed them one is breastfeeding and other one is 2 years old and somehow only eats what my sister cooks. And she desperately explained it to the manager hoping that she would somehow understand but of course the manager didn't and she don't give a damn because she's not COMFORTABLE. 2 stars because I do love the content of the store. My issue is I actually shop here all the time. I used to spend a lot of money here. Obviously the more money you spend, the more you might need to exchange/return something. I'm a very busy person so a lot of times I don't have time to try things on. (Especially since the store moves pretty slow as far as waiting in line goes). Usually In the past I have exchanged items because they didn't fit. If I did need to exchange I would always bring it back with all the tags & brand new condition. I have maybe done that 3 times in one year. (One of the times it being their fault for not ringing it up correctly & having to re-ring). Last time I was there I was infuriated when the girl told me that I'm not allowed to return anything else because my return amount was at a limit. Are you serious? First of all if your going to have a rule like that it should be in prospective of how much one is spending, so what are you basing that off of? (Obviously not the 3K I spent in there last year). Second of all the last $300 "return" I made was not even a return. It was a mistake of one of your employees for forgetting my coupon. 3rd of all I have never heard of a rule like that in my life. Wish I could give five stars, but the store was just a tad disorganized compared to what we are used to. And while some disorganization is to be expected in a lingerie and undergarment store, it wasn't just the undies table, it was things like nowhere to hang items when leaving the fitting rooms with no one working the area that we could hand the items to and then a few things in the wrong area which made a significant price difference. My daughter does love VS, and I'm pretty sure she always will, but this location based on these few items just isn't my favorite. Now for some good news....... The young lady that helped us as we checked out was WONDERFUL. I had purchased a few items for my oldest daughters that wasn't with us so she bagged them separately in the normal bag (not the SALE bag). She made sure not the put the receipt in the bag and pointed a few things out that allowed us to purchase the items in a smarter way, which was an upsell for them, but not in a pushy way at all. In fact, I appreciated her advice. I have no idea what her name is, but she was there last night at about 7:30 and she's a petite little thing. She can't be more than 4'10" and is as sweet as can be. And it doesn't seem fake. She was working the register at about 7:30 last night. I hope management can figure out who she is. If this were about service only and based on this young lady, FIVE stars all the way. But taking a ton of small items into the fitting rooms for my daughter and then having to try and figure out where they all came from so we could put them away since the fitting room wasn't being staffed and there wasn't a rack or table at the exit of the fitting room, it just wouldn't be right to give a five star review. read more

Why is it 99% of the bras in this store are push up, add a size, padded like a pillow, oddly shaped messes. They have pretty bras, the sports bras are killer. But I being a D to DD don't need the pads and add a size bras. The selection of bras with out adding a size to three is limited. I know a good bra is hard to find. I like the t-shirt bra they have, slightly molding, nipple coverage, with no pads. They must not be heavy sellers, because they never to seem to have more than two colors. The incredible 7 way adjustable would be nice if it didn't make my breast look huge. I like the way the adjustable straps worked, but really, I am not trying to have a "Dolly Pardon". The lip gloss is wonderful, the lotions are good. read more
