I searched the website to try to exchange for the right size, and unless I missed something they only do returns. So instead of dealing with that I decided I'd jump in the car and drive the 10 mins to the store. When I walked in, they were moderately busy n about to close, but I explained to the two women behind the counter my issue, and how I always have trouble finding MY exact bra size, and the younger girl came from behind the register and promptly gently measured me, told me my size and offered me a dressing room to try on said new size. I was let into the dressing room and was still having a bit of trouble, so I stopped an employee who was walking to the drawing rooms to ask if this new bra size actually fit me, and AGAIN she promptly stopped what she was doing, put the products she was carrying gently down and came in and adjusted my straps and helped me out. Idk how your company pics who they hire but you guys picked a winning team for SURE. The girls were super nice and incredibly helpful, even tho I came in late and they were busy. I have never walked out of a bra store happier and more confident about knowing my actual size. A HUGE thank you ladies-you guys absolutely made my night. He called me very quickly and the conversation was so different from the other places I spoke with! Instead of just laying out "here's how it works, here's what you get for this price," etc., he asked a lot about what I was looking for, what I hoped to get out of it, my motivations or inspirations, etc. That personal touch carried throughout the experience. He consistently made an effort to understand what I was looking for--from the planning process to the photo shoot to going through the photos afterward--to make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. The photos themselves are absolutely awesome. It's incredible the different looks and feels he creates in a relatively small studio. More importantly, he just has an incredible eye for what is going to look good and how to create looks, moods, etc. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and I think that shows in the final product. Everyone who has seen my pictures has been blown away. He's way more than just a photographer; he's a true artist. My photoshoot with Cheshire at Dragonfly was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. As a…read moretrans woman who hates seeing photos of herself and can only tolerate looking in the mirror on a good day, I came into it with some trepidation and low expectations. Yet I can only describe the experience of being photographed by Cheshire as transcendent. It started at 10am with an hour of makeup and hair by an incredibly talented makeup artist who was also kind and put me at ease. This was the first time I've had my hair or makeup done professionally and I have to say I hope every experience is like that! Wow. When I looked in the mirror I caught a glimpse of myself I'd never seen before. It took my breath away. The photoshoot itself started at 11am and we didn't stop shooting until 5pm. We paused occasionally to eat some of the delicious, custom-prepared snacks Cheshire had brought tailored specifically to my partner and me. Otherwise it was non-stop photography using every corner of his incredible studio which deserves its own mention. For its size, it has such incredible versatility. We spent 6 hours shooting and had so many ideas remaining it felt like we could have exhausted another day entirely in that space, and yet each set of photos turned out as if they were shot in a completely separate location. Cheshire is an absolute master of lighting and posing. Cheshire effortlessly communicated what he wanted me to do with my body in a way that was warm, simple, and affirming. I never once felt uncomfortable. I felt like a professional who had so much beauty inside me that he was helping me to express and capture on camera. I had no idea modeling was such hard work, thought! My body was sore and tired the next day (although, after seeing the photos, it was entirely worth it). Overall, the best part of the experience was that I felt like I was collaborating with Cheshire to create art rather than a client paying to be photographed by him. It made the photoshoot (the process, the act of creation) even more special and memorable than the photos themselves, something I absolutely did not expect going into it. And then there are the photos themselves, which I can still hardly believe are real. As a trans woman, it is extremely rare to see on the outside the person I feel that I am on the inside. The set of photos Cheshire gave me a week after the shoot achieved that and more. They remain my favorite photos ever taken of me. They capture sides of me that I've simply never seen on film before or since--that I didn't think I would ever see. Thank you, Cheshire. What a gift.

She didn't measure me, which I expected after other bra purchasing experiences where that's the first thing the fitter does. She just asked me what size I wore, but I was unsure because I've lost weight recently, so she brought in a couple sizes for me to try on. I asked her to find a tape measure and measure me for the band width to make sure I got the correct size. She seemed very inexperienced, uncaring and blasé about the whole process. After I tried on the garments I told her which one I chose. She took it, wordlessly left the dressing room and returned to the front desk. When I returned to the front desk she said the store would file a claim with my insurance, but I had to pay up front and hope for reimbursement from my insurance company. The whole experience was cold and impersonal at a time when I and others with my diagnosis are anxious, scared and in need of some compassion. When I returned home, I searched online for the garment I purchased and discovered that Marzel's charged 50% more than the online price. I'm sorry I patronized this place.
