Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I'm beyond thrilled with my new kitchen and love my quartz. Highly recommend Factory Plaza! And big thanks to Irene for seeing my vision and Alex for a flawless installation. I've forgotten the name of the gentleman who measured but he made a suggestion to add a strip of the quartz behind my stove and it made the whole look so custom. So highly recommend!

I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. It's a shame the owners and management don't share her work ethic. They desperately need professional development in customer service and quality control. Factory Plaza: I am still waiting for a senior technician to contact me to fix this under warranty. My next step is a formal complaint with the BBB.They chose the easy way out, then ghosted me. I'm having to reach out to them again and again and again waiting usually almost a full business week if I receive a response at all. As a business owner and full time mom, my time is valuable. I don't appreciate them wasting mine. * Lack of Transparency: It was never mentioned to me during the process that they would not be caulking the counter to the wall. When I brought it up, it was brushed aside as something in their lengthy contract. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. We found Granite Crafters through a friend and their kitchen looked great so I gave them a call. We are doing some minor remodeling in our house and counters were a must. We had ceramic tiles on the counters before. Very 80's and very hard to clean. Whoever thought that grout on a food prep area was a good idea is not smart but I digress. We ended up getting kitchen counters and then asked about doing two vanities as well. At the granite yard there were scrap pieces they wouldn't sell to us but he said he had some at his shop that could work and they did. Our bathroom went from builder grade to amazing in two hours. Marek was prompt at calling me back. That's a must with contractors for me. We went to the granite yard to pick out our granite on a Saturday and he was able to install it a week and a half later. That's with fabrication and everything. He said they would be here between 1 and 2 and they were here at 1:15. Being on time is also a must. I have dealt with contractors that didn't call me back for days, didn't call me back at all and my personal favorite, lost his notes and wanting to come back to remeasure a month later. No thanks. We are in the very north suburbs and he still came on time. The selection of granite is enormous, the work is impeccable and the price is unbeatable. I did my homework and couldn't be happier that I went with them! Marek is very knowledgeable and super helpful. He answered all of my questions and there were lots. Do yourselves a favor and go with Granite Crafters.

Davan installed our new quartz countertops on 08/27/2025 after shopping around for several months…read more We ended up selecting quartz countertops from MSI. Some helpful hints based on our experience: 1. A big countertop dealer like MSI, located in Elk Grove Village, has a very large showroom where you can see the full countertop slabs. We had some preferences based on the web site pictures and the little quartz samples, but ended up selecting a different slab once we were in the showroom. You really want to see the full countertop slabs before your decision is finalized. 2. We were really disappointed with the Home Depot service, which is The Countertop Factory - Midwest. There was an extremely hard sell visit to our house and a take-it-or-leave it price. 3. Many quartz countertop installation services want you to select quartz they already have in stock. Davan let us shop around and we selected an MSI countetop, which MSI already had in stock. Our job therefore proceeded quickly from final slab selection to installation (less than two weeks). 4. I was unnecessarily nervous about our kitchen tile backsplash when our old formica countertops were replaced with new quartz countertops. We wanted to retain the old kitchen backsplash. That was not a problem and the installation occurred smoothly.

Great Customer Service and Great Prices!…read more I am absolutely in awe of the design and customer help that Kasia Flis has provided us for our project. From the start Kitchen & Bath Masters, beat any of the competitors prices -- and trust me I did shop around!!! =) Not only they beat the price by more than 10%, they have excellent customers service. I only dealt with Kasia Flis, who is very professional, and has been in constant contact with us. This is the first kitchen I am doing myself, so I just called her more than 45 days past the delivery date, and we just swapped out one of cabinets for a larger one. (My fault in 100%) but they are handling it for us. Delivery staff are also great to work with and helped us carry the cabinets to the 2nd floor apartment. We love the new white cabinets, We tried to match the sizes of the same kitchen that we had, but Kasia worked with us to modernize it and change couple of key thing. We are very happy with the outcome and I will attach some before and after shots of our project . Great Transformation on a small budget! Thanks Again and keep up the great work!

Boards are loose and splinters are coming up. We called and were repeatedly told "I'll get back to you." After hearing this so many times and never getting a call back, we contacted our original representative-Kevin. Kevin actually did get back to us with a name and number for Tom that we should text. After texting several times, we called him. Several phone calls of him saying things like "we'll be there next week" or "I'll call you when I get back to the office in about 30 minutes." Somewhere between all of this, Alex called. Said he'd call back but never did. We called Kevin again and he contacted both Tom and Alex. Kevin was the only one that was willing to help. Tom called. He was rather rude. He told us that this 6-month delay was our fault because instead of calling, we should have used the website. Why over these 6 months did nobody tell us that we need to go to the website? Why did Tom not tell us this the first time we spoke? Instead of saying he'll get back to us? He also said that Century no longer has our floor and that we should contact Floor & Décor to see if they will honor the warranty. Of course, they can't help and said that since we purchased the floor thru Century, that it's Century's job to handle the warranty. We've checked the website several times since and can't figure out what we should have done 6 months ago. Maybe because we're senior citizens and we're challenged. Now we need to buy a new floor and find someone to install it. And Century doesn't seem too concerned about it because we sent this review to them in the email on their contact us page and nobody bothered to contact us.
