We decided to do a little leg work ourselves and discovered Factory Plaza. They were SUPER responsive to every question and allowed us to set our own parameters and timing. We wanted to see selection in person before scheduling a measuring. No problem. Made the trip and were pleased with the options. We gave our estimated measurements and received a quote. We called in our selection and paid the 50%. Measurement happened just a couple days later, and install 3 business days later. Install went smoothly and the crew worked efficiently and professionally. They were focused on the task at hand and even swept up after themselves. We couldn't be more happy with the workmanship. Oh, and the price? So much more reasonable! We saved between 20% - 40%!! Highly recommend!!

I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. It's a shame the owners and management don't share her work ethic. They desperately need professional development in customer service and quality control. Factory Plaza: I am still waiting for a senior technician to contact me to fix this under warranty. My next step is a formal complaint with the BBB.They chose the easy way out, then ghosted me. I'm having to reach out to them again and again and again waiting usually almost a full business week if I receive a response at all. As a business owner and full time mom, my time is valuable. I don't appreciate them wasting mine. * Lack of Transparency: It was never mentioned to me during the process that they would not be caulking the counter to the wall. When I brought it up, it was brushed aside as something in their lengthy contract. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. Davan installed our new quartz countertops on 08/27/2025 after shopping around for several months…read more We ended up selecting quartz countertops from MSI. Some helpful hints based on our experience: 1. A big countertop dealer like MSI, located in Elk Grove Village, has a very large showroom where you can see the full countertop slabs. We had some preferences based on the web site pictures and the little quartz samples, but ended up selecting a different slab once we were in the showroom. You really want to see the full countertop slabs before your decision is finalized. 2. We were really disappointed with the Home Depot service, which is The Countertop Factory - Midwest. There was an extremely hard sell visit to our house and a take-it-or-leave it price. 3. Many quartz countertop installation services want you to select quartz they already have in stock. Davan let us shop around and we selected an MSI countetop, which MSI already had in stock. Our job therefore proceeded quickly from final slab selection to installation (less than two weeks). 4. I was unnecessarily nervous about our kitchen tile backsplash when our old formica countertops were replaced with new quartz countertops. We wanted to retain the old kitchen backsplash. That was not a problem and the installation occurred smoothly.

From the get-go, their approach stood out. After carefully reviewing multiple estimates, their initial quotation clearly provided the best value, being considerably lower than others. What truly blew me away was their commitment to efficiency. While others promised completion in 1-2 months, this team completed the entire revamp in an astonishing three weeks, a feat that still amazes me. The whole team was polite, prompt, clean, and professional. Very hard working and finished the job within the stated time frame. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is truly unmatched. Before installation, they took the time to discuss and understand our preferences for each element, ensuring everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. This level of consultation was both professional and considerate, reflecting a genuine dedication to customer satisfaction. Moreover, their respect for our home was impeccable. They worked diligently, treating our space with the same care and respect as they would their own. This level of professionalism and regard for our property was truly commendable. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend 4Ever Remodeling. They deserve every bit of the five stars I'm giving them. If you're seeking a team that combines exceptional workmanship, remarkable efficiency, and a genuine respect for your home, look no further than these incredible guys.

I would definitely hire this team again with my next project.

Boards are loose and splinters are coming up. We called and were repeatedly told "I'll get back to you." After hearing this so many times and never getting a call back, we contacted our original representative-Kevin. Kevin actually did get back to us with a name and number for Tom that we should text. After texting several times, we called him. Several phone calls of him saying things like "we'll be there next week" or "I'll call you when I get back to the office in about 30 minutes." Somewhere between all of this, Alex called. Said he'd call back but never did. We called Kevin again and he contacted both Tom and Alex. Kevin was the only one that was willing to help. Tom called. He was rather rude. He told us that this 6-month delay was our fault because instead of calling, we should have used the website. Why over these 6 months did nobody tell us that we need to go to the website? Why did Tom not tell us this the first time we spoke? Instead of saying he'll get back to us? He also said that Century no longer has our floor and that we should contact Floor & Décor to see if they will honor the warranty. Of course, they can't help and said that since we purchased the floor thru Century, that it's Century's job to handle the warranty. We've checked the website several times since and can't figure out what we should have done 6 months ago. Maybe because we're senior citizens and we're challenged. Now we need to buy a new floor and find someone to install it. And Century doesn't seem too concerned about it because we sent this review to them in the email on their contact us page and nobody bothered to contact us.
