Here is what happened: My brother called around 4:50 PM today to book two body massages for 8:45 PM, and we were told that if we arrived earlier, we could upgrade to a 75-minute session instead of 60 minutes. An hour later, I decided I didn't want a massage after all, so my brother texted them to cancel one of the two appointments. Around 8:00 PM, my brother called them back to see if we could add the second appointment back on, since I would be waiting outside to drive him home. The receptionist, Mary, answered and informed us it wasn't possible because they were fully booked for the rest of the night. That was completely understandable, since we were the ones who changed our minds. We arrived as scheduled at 8:41 PM, only to be told in person that both appointments had been canceled because Mary misread our text message. While mistakes happen, Mary's attitude was completely unacceptable. Instead of apologizing for reading the text wrong and canceling the wrong appointment, she lied and claimed she had told us over the phone that both appointments were canceled. When I pointed out that she never said that, she tried to argue that she used the plural "appointments," even though on the phone call, she simply said "the appointment's canceled," which clearly sounded singular. Throughout the entire interaction, she was defensive and had a terrible, sassy attitude instead of communicating professionally. I simply don't understand why someone who speaks to customers this way is working in customer service and managing appointments. I don't know if I will be coming back anytime soon. While the rest of the staff are wonderful, Mary is not suitable for a customer-facing role if she cannot provide basic professional service.

I was visiting in LA and as a tradition of my vacations I set aside a day for a massage to be able to relax after the vacay activities . I was referred to the massage doctor by a friend . The best part of it is that the massage doctor was able to come to where I was ; such a plus and convenience given that I was on vacation and just wanted to relax and not move around too much in the LA traffic . The customer service was great ; he is friendly and was able to setup quick and seamlessly . The massage was over and beyond ; he has a unique vibration that he can do with his hand that I haven't experienced before . It's definitely a talent that is rare .He is also very well versed with the different muscles in the body and can tell where to put focus/ pressure on based on the tension. He had great background music as well that put me at ease during the session . Another plus was the heating pad that he placed on the massage bed ; it ensured that the body temperature was right throughout the massage .The rates are also quite affordable . He's like Drake's song - Best I Ever Had! Kenneth is a real life saver. As a single mom of two, 5 & 7 I am eternally grateful for his magical healing hands. My 7 years old is extremely medical fragile and cannot walk, she solely depends on me for everything.
