Today, mother and I were in dire need of a massage. She wanted to go to a massage parlor, but the last time we went, we did not have a very pleasant experience. We looked through the internet for a massage therapist that would provide a massage in the comfort of our home and found Kenneth and his company and decided to give him a shot. Kenneth is a soft-spoken, authentic gentlemen. He is easy to talk to and very personable. We scheduled an appointment with him and one of his associates for a same day, 90 minute massage in our house. He arrived 5 minutes early with his associate, Dini, who got right on to preparing their massage table. They were very professional and efficient with setting up their table. They conversed as they set up, adding a casual element to the environment. They were considerate to the surroundings, asked us if we had any areas on our bodies that were off-limits, any special considerations to pay attention to, and kept an open dialogue throughout the entire process. Mom got Dini as her masseuse, and I got Kenneth. The second he started, I knew that this guy was legit. He was carefully feeling certain anatomical landmarks around the area of massage and used gentle authority as he worked on different muscle groups and pressure points. He frequently checked on me to see if the amount of pressure was alright, and he gently reminded me to breathe every so often. His hand and body movements were fluid and with intention. I felt like a car brought to a repair shop, and Kenneth was the mechanic, sent right from the big guy up above. Mom did not have any complaints about Dini, citing her as professional and courteous. I woke up in probably the most relaxed aura that I have been in a while. At the end, Kenneth briefly explained to me the little details he noticed, which surprised me; from the slight difference in range of motion I had on my right wrist compared to my left, to the fact that I had pretty significant inflammation on my calves. This review would not be complete without a comment on the price. However, with the quality of service you receive and the profound professionalism and cordial mannerism of Kenneth and his associates, I would gladly pay good money to have him and his associates come again and massage me. read more

Kenneth is very sweet, very earnest, and clearly works hard. We got a late start due to him not understanding the parking request; once inside, set up took quite a while. The breakdown also took a while after we were done; all in, the hour massage took about two hours of time between the parking, setup, massage, and break down. The massage was fine, without getting into the deeper work needed and requested; it became clear early on that Kenneth is still learning certain modalities; we did not address most of what I'd hoped to. As he was aware, certain requests kept not quite being taken... (and he made the interesting remark at the end of the massage that he knew this would not be a 5 star review.) For someone who prides himself on helping people feel comfortable, it was an awkward remark that left me unsure what to say other than to remain polite and offer him water before he left. The pricing is high for his level of experience; to travel less than 3 miles. He did adjust down the price by $10 once we'd gone back-and-forth on the pricing. On the positive side, Kenneth was able to accommodate within 24 hours (which was greatly appreciated and for which I thanked him profusely at the time of booking), and again is very sweet, and clearly aspires to be the best he can be. Kenneth is by far the most incredible massage therapist I have ever had work on me. He puts great attention to exactly what you need and where your issue is. He does incredible, restorative, therapeutic, and deep tissue massages. I get really horrible knots in my back and pinched nerves and he works miracles on them. I've had to pause my massage membership at my previous spot because of tough financial issues, so I've had the biggest knot in my back shoulder-blade and had horrible range of motion in my arms. I box and work out weekly, so lots of areas have just been neglected. Kenneth found ALL OF THEM. He provided just the right amount of pressure without having it hurt, but also finds pressure points and does his vibration technique that is soothing, and provides the perfect amount of relief.
