My experience at Vibez Studio has been nothing less than perfect. It's the best studio I've ever been too. They make everyone feel special. All the Instructors are amazing. They never ever judge us they just encourage us and make us feel so comfortable. I am a strong believer of working out. I take Pilates reformer at Vibez which is incredibly good for your entire body. I had osteopenia which is basically bone loss but since taking Pilates reformer my bones are stronger than ever. My doctor said my condition progressed. I have the bones of a thirty year old and I am in my fiftys. I feel so much stronger. The Pilates instructors are the awesome!! So hopefully I will see you at Vibez! read more

The Pilates classes are excellent! I live in Manhattan, but the Pilates is better at vibez than anywhere in the city. Marcos and Denise are both so knowledgeable. Marcos saved my back! A place That offers Zumba classes all day!!! AND TRX ANDDD spinning AND Pilates AND OMG!!! All in one place!!! This place is a like full gym facility without the useless treadmills in the way! Are you kidding me???? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!! The best fitness facility in NY!!! Years ago, I used to belong to a gym and found myself basing my personal fitness schedule on the gym's group class schedule.. ehh they only had Zumba twice a (week which was my favorite class) and half the time I couldn't make it to one of them.. so here I was paying full membership to do a class I like several times a month and forcing other classes or machines (yuck)that I didn't enjoy on other days. DO YOU LOVE TO DANCE? UMM YEA!! Zumba all day all night everyday whatttt. Why Vibez tho? Since finding Vibez, I've checked out other Zumba facilities in the neighborhood a little big closer to my job and house, none quite compare. 1. DIM lights.. hello I'm self conscious!! This is great. Colored disco lights makes it feel like a party 2. Every Zumba instructor is freakin awesome!!! Started with NANDO and became a NANDOHOLIC.. When Nando is there.. I'm there! Sooooo much fun!!!!!! Saturday mornings with Trish are awesome if I can ever get my butt awake!!!! (I'm suddenly thinking to myself that I should delete this review.. do I really want more people coming to this place or should I keep it ALLL to myself) but no.. they deserve it.. see #3 3. The BEST business owners May and Jay, talk about making you feel at home!! I spend more time here than I do anywhere else other than home and work. They really work hard to keep us customers happy! And the facility itself is so beautiful and CLEAN and so nicely kept! 4. Ok so by now you can tell I love Zumba, I tried all the other offering.. TRX is excellent, even once a week makes such a difference in your body! same with Pilates! Spinning is good too there are make spinaholics who love coming also! Location is convenient with parking lot, have variety of classes to attend. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. My fav classes are with Rueben and Rachel. Classes are challenging and fun every time. I'm addicted to my classes! read more

At Vibez Studio you will get the best zumba classes! People are really nice May the owner is very polite since the first day I went to register for my classes they give you a schedule and they explain everything to you Ok they have great instructors but my favorite is Nando he is awesome and he will make you sweat! I wish I can go everyday to take classes. Classes are $10 but you can get deals at Groupon for $59 you get 20 classes! It gets packed at night so I would say get there a little bit early. If you have kids they have Zumba Tonic for kids ages from 4-12 just check the schedule and they will email to you to keep you updated! read more

My review is regarding the spin classes and pole classes at Vibez. The spin room at Vibez also has other equipment crammed in it other than bicycles for their Pilates Reformer class. The equipment makes the room REEK. After the Pilates class things are clearly not being cleaned properly because the sweat stench is FOUL and awful. If you do come here, try to get a bike close to the windows. The smell was so overpowering and so distracting during the entire spin class that it made me nauseous. I had to breathe through my mouth the entire ride and I was extremely uncomfortable. Next - the spin instructors. I have taken a class with nearly all of their instructors and I have been fairly disappointed with all of them. Some instructors are incredibly rigid in their directions. Other instructors are primarily Zumba instructors so your ride is more like a dance party on a bike which you may or may not want for you hardcore spinners. (Expect dangerous dancing hands off the bike moves.) Then, I've also had the displeasure of doing several rides with an instructor that NEVER ONCE GOT ON THE BIKE for the entire 55 minute ride. I am most motivated by the instructor being on the bike, taking the lead, and doing the ride with us. Otherwise, the instructors hover around, micromanage and make you feel uncomfortable. I'm a fit rider and I know what's best for my body, and I don't need an instructor calling me out in class, when only I know my past medical history and what's best for me, and this person has zero knowledge about that. I don't want to be embarrassed, harassed, and feel pressured during my spin ride. It's supposed to be ENJOYABLE. Management needs to seriously sit in on their instructors or manage them better because the instructors are the BIGGEST reason for the low enrollment in their spin classes. I have been to way better spin classes than this place. Finally, POLE - took a class with Lauren D, and it was clearly split into very advanced girls and beginners girls. She was friendly, approachable, and modeled spins for us. But the difficulty was in her managing 2 groups, which she did fairly well considering the massive range in ability. This class needs to be broken up into beginner, intermediate, and advanced nights honestly. That's on the management. I also took a class with Pasha. She was snippy, not helpful, impatient, and she stood around the entire session on her phone complaining that she was tired. I was pissed. After that experience, I never went back to Pole. She was very into the advanced pole spinners that attended, talking and chatting them up like old friends, but the beginners were pretty much ignored. Not a wonderful way to get new clients to return. I have taken Zumba classes which great like all the other reviewers said. IN CONCLUSION - dear management at VIBEZ, get your shit together for pole and spin and get better instructors or retrain them if you want to RETAIN YOUR CLIENTS. read more

Vibez Studio is like my second home! I have been a member since 2011 and the owners, instructors, and members have become like family. I have also had great success with my fitness journey going from a size 12 down to (my smallest) a size 2. I have grown in many ways : mind, body, and spirit. I am the healthiest I have ever been. The instructors are all knowledgeable and genuinely care about their clients. This past weekend I participated on their team for Rugged Maniac for my fourth year in a row! I got a Groupon for the Zumba classes since I heard good things about the studio (on here - Yelp) and I have to say - I was a bit disappointed. The instructor was great he was very energetic, but the class was packed. I tried going during different times, but they're ALL packed. My suggestion would be since they have 2 studios to get 2 classes going (and move the Spin bikes to the side). Other than that, I don't think I would be coming back. Sorry, Vibez. read more

So I found this place on Groupon and thought I'd give it a try since I've been searching for a phenomenal Zumba place outside of Manhattan. First three classes were sufficient enough that I contemplated actually signing up for a membership. I had 2 classes left on my Groupon and was feeling pretty satisfied I found a Queens Zumba spot but then I came to Rueben's class.... Never took his class before (nor will I ever again). A girl in the class stood on the podium and just pretty much danced like she was dancing in front of the mirror. No direction, didn't say a word. Had very little foot movement. What a waste of money!!!! I go to class to get motivated, to get a better workout then if I were to stay home. My 2 year old could have done a better job. Gave it 30 minutes and I couldn't take it anymore I just left. This class was a joke. So I went to the owner and told her this was the worst class I ever took in my life. There was no direction, nothing! And she just said Rueben's hurt his back and that's why the class is like that. Well then offer me a make up class or tell Rueben to give direction or how bout this concept...,get a sub !!!! Well needless to say I will not be purchasing a membership. My search continues for a phenomenal place in Queens. If anyone is looking for a phenomenal place in Manhattan check out ZclubNY...so far they are unbeatable. Can't believe it's been over a year since I first stepped into Vibez Studio for Zumba! I remembered I was just randomly browsing for a Zumba studio that was closed by Bayside and had decent reviews and that's when I came across to Vibez. I'm a fitness enthusiast but always favored classes in the city since I work in the city and there's a part of me that feels instructors are better there. However I was impressed at the quality of instructors and cleanliness of the studio at Vibez. It's also super affordable at $10 per class and even less expensive if you do a package. What I really like about Vibez are the people! From the instructors to the receptionist to the clients the environment is always welcoming and friendly! My sister and I do have a preference for Rachel the instructor but the other instructors are awesome as well! Rachel's zumba class mixes in high intensity cardio which I love because I'm a cardio junkie! Definitely come out on Sunday to dance with her and you will work up a good sweat while having fun at the same time. The ladies at reception are also really nice because there's been studios I been to where the instructors are great but the receptionists are so rude and nasty. Customer service is also great. I had to email them since they credited my account wrong and the owner May promptly fix the issue and emailed me back.Vibez also expanded their studio to include Spin and Pilates Reformer. I have yet to try those classes but that's definitely on my to do list! The only Con I can think of is the parking lot is pretty tight and it might be a bit difficult to find street parking sometimes but there are plenty of parking if you are willing to walk a few blocks. And did I mention there's a small waiting area by the coat/lockers area where your kid can sit and wait for you! I brought my 11 year old niece a few times when we didn't have a babysitter.As long as Vibez continues to have awesome instructors and customer service I'll definitely keep coming for Zumba there! read more

I have to write this review because I was so disappointed and angry after walking into Vibez for the first time. After reading these reviews and checking out the website I decided to purchase the groupon offer I received. I walked in & stood at the counter & said hi to the recptionist at least 4 times while she responded with a simple hi & blank stare, not can I help you. Finally I said that my friend & i were new, I had a groupon and that we wanted to take the next class. The studio was MUCH smaller than depicted on their website and the class appeared to be at capacity. As we filled the paper work that was absently handed to us as she carried on a conversation with other people, the class started and my patience had run out. I handed back the clipboard and said "I think the class may be too full, we'll come back." The response I received was a shrug and she returned to her conversation. Not only was it incredibly rude, but completely unprofessional. As a business promoting itself I would expect at least an apology, or some type of accommodation to say maybe you can come to another class that not as crowded and at a different time. Needless to say I am NEVER going back and will never recommend it to anyone. I have been to other studios, even one smaller than this and the atmosphere was much more welcoming and friendly which made up for its size. I've been going to Vibez for several years and, if anything, it's gotten even better. There are more Pilates reformers, a Wunda chair, a ladder barrel and other Pilates equipment. Last week new weights and body bars were added to the weight arsenal. And there are many classes to choose from - Zumba, Total Body Make-over, Hip-Hop Cardio, Barre, TRX, Pilates and Pole Dancing to name a few. Each instructor brings something different to the class so it's good to take classes with different instructors. And, they are all awesome. It's a family run business and there's a family atmosphere. May, Jay, Carmen and Etty who are at the desk are so friendly and helpful. You can ask their advice about a class because they've no doubt taken the class. They give a great first impression. And, the clients are some of the most supportive people I've ever come across It's like my home away from home. Try it You won't be disappointed. read more
