If you park in the indoor basement garage, there's a staircase that brings you right up to the entrance of the gym. You enter the gym by fingerprint reader. Right outside, street level, there's restaurants/bakery coffee shop. I utilized the gym today, 6:30pm to 7:30 pm and although there were other people exercising, there was still plenty of space for everyone. Plenty of machines and free weights to use. Plenty of lockers and ample showers in the locker rooms. The restroom facilities are right outside of the gym in the hallways. WiFi is provided if you require the internet to stream music for your workout. I would suggest to bring your own towel. Paper towels with spray disinfectant were available at the front desk. Met eric, he seemed very cordial and was very helpful with anything he can further provide.

That being said, what has changed since my last review? - There's no more classes. The room for classes is now used for stretching and etc. - Prime time is now Monday night (it is so crowded). - The locker rooms are old and beaten up now. There was a while when the women's locker room smelled like decaying raw fish. About a month. It's better now. Maybe it's time to renovate the locker rooms again. - There's these 2 cool cross-skiing machines now. - There's a manually treadmill that no one uses. - They got these trash bin/wipes containers now. Who are the competition these days? There's a cheap small gym on Roosevelt that doesn't really turn on the AC, and a luxury gym on 38th Ave. So when it comes down to it, Bodhi is still thriving.

I am a returning client at this fitness studio in Flushing and have purchased multiple prepaid…read morepackages over time, including personal training and Pilates sessions. In my most recent purchase, I still have a significant number of unused sessions remaining. At the time of purchase, there was no clear written contract or clearly explained refund policy. After relocating out of state, I was no longer able to use the remaining sessions and requested a refund for the unused portion, which was declined. I was instead offered alternatives such as extending the validity period or transferring sessions to someone else, neither works for me. I'm disappointed by how this was handled. I also felt that the pricing does not fully align with the overall experience provided. I am sharing this for transparency for others considering prepaid fitness packages, especially if there is any possibility of relocation or schedule changes. Clear written policies on refunds and cancellations would help prevent misunderstandings in the future.

Let me start by stating that I have NEVER written a negative review for any business. However, I…read moream incredulous and very disappointed by Nino's response to my call today about using the $850 gift voucher for 10 personal training sessions my husband bought me a year ago for my birthday. Unfortunately, due to several personal circumstances which I shared with him, I was unable to use the gift. The extenuating circumstances included my father's death and dealing with the Estate business, my being the primary caretaker for my 96 year old mom, my having COVID, then pneumonia for 2 months, injured ribs, a hip injury, and 2 tumors on my neck and spine. etc. Nino was cold, lacked empathy and understanding and stated that he was unable to provide the service because the voucher had "expired". He added that "the best he could do" was to honor 4 sessions if I was committed to paying for 10 more. So, instead of getting what was already paid for, I would end up spending money for another 10 sessions. He kept repeating that this was their "policy" and couldn't make any exceptions. He is in charge, so I don't understand how he couldn't make an "Executive Decision ". Nino was unable to give me any logical, valid explanation for how his business would be negatively impacted by providing a service that was paid for. If I had made appointments and did not show up, he would have a valid argument. However, this was not the case. So Nino finds it perfectly acceptable and logical to take people's hard-earned money, and keep it, without providing the service by hiding behind a so called "policy", which my husband nor I ever received in any written contract at the time of purchase. This demonstrates a lack of integrity and it is apparent that the wellness of his clients do not come first. I also read his response to the unhappy "Groupon class" reviewer where he stated that he believes "people should get what they pay for". This was obviously a courteous, obligatory response. Nino... actions speak louder than words!
