Brooke is the best. She Helped so much with correcting my hair!! It was worth the whole 4 hours! Thanks again girl!

I live in SF, and I drive down to Roseville every 4 weeks to get my haircut here by Alex Smith. Ask for ALEX!!!! This guy is the best barber ever! Not only does he do a great job, he is a cool ass guy! I been going to Alex since I was 16, and I have referred over a few friends. Every person I know has been giving him raving reviews for his job. A haircut only costs $20. If you are in Sac Town make sure you go to Alex read more

Yikes!! Went to a lady named Jessica I left crying my hair was so messed up. I asked for a balayage and showed her a few pictures. It was completely not what I asked for she put highlights at my roots?? I had teal at the end of my hair prior to coming in I expected a color correction and at the end I had orange, bronze and pink highlights. She did a cut which came out blocky!!!!! With green tips. I'm not one to complain but I called her within an hour of leaving and she got so defensive I just wanted it fixed. Called management and no answer had to cut my losses paid another hair salon to cover up the mistakes and forgot to tell you my cut was horrible. Layers were messed up and had to cut my long hair, another salon fixed that as well. It was a nightmare!! If I could post pic on here I would not sure how. It was that bad:( She did all this while working on someone else at the same time. I should have known better. read more

It says that they work till 6pm. Came there at 5pm, there was only one person working and she said she's leaving soon, so won't be able to do anything. If they leave earlier than 6pm, they should not say what time they are closing read more

Do not see Jamie unless you want your hair fried. Jamie is supposedly a color specialist at Vibes Salon in Roseville and citrus heights. (The black extensions should have been my first clue). Jamie works only by appointment and is VERY expensive; it cost me nearly $$$400 for a senior stylist at The Emporium to fix my wifes hair!!!! I'll pay anything for a great stylist but don't make me pay to FIX IT!! read more

I go to Jenny at Vibes to get my hair done and this time we put in purple extensions. She did a great job, they look great and I get compliments all the time. They are subtle, yet pop, which is exactly what I wanted. Also my 13 year old wanted fun colors in her hair and wanted to see if she could do a rainbow, so Jenny put in different colored extensions, that way her hair looks cool, and she can change it later if she wants. Thanks so much Jenny for the great job you did. read more

I saw Elena for a cut & color. I am not very decisive & she helped me immensely. She blended a custom color to compliment my skin tone & actually had to blend two custom colors to match because my outgrown roots were natural & the bulk of my hair had been previously dyed. I get compliments on my hair all the time and people always ask if the color is natural (though she will do unnatural if that is your thing). She is also easy to talk to & friendly! I was VERY happy when I left! I have tried many stylists before and am usually left unimpressed. I finally found someone I will continue to go back to! I highly recommend her! read more

My wife just got her hair cut today around 1pm by a stylist named RAY. And well its not even a hair cut. im sure he shortened it but it looks nothing like what was asked for. she asked for a "bob" and he just wasn't confident enough to do the job but did the job anyway. he kept asking questions which clearly a professional shouldn't be asking as their the artist that's doing the work not the client. so hair was just trimmed no styling, she came home a mess hair still not combed/wet/blocky/and uneven. read more

I've been going to Karesha now for quite a few years. She does awesome cuts and beautiful styles (she's braided my hair a couple times now for trips to Hawaii) and most recently I got a body wave from her which I love! Very highly recommended! read more

I had my hair colored at vibes for the first time today. Not only did Heather squeeze me in last minute she did an amazing job on my disaster of a hair. I made the typical mistake of box dying my hair and then had to rush to get it fixed. I had blonde hair that was supposed to be dyed "dark blonde" but the box dye turned it dark brown. Heather worked a miracle and now I have an amazing blonde balayage. If you are looking for a stylist I would 100% recommend Heather! read more

Vibes Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Roseville, California

New to town and thought I would try Vibes Salon. BIG MISTAKE! The stylist (Natasha Lokteff)was the worst I have ever had. I was in tears and my husband was like what happen to your hair. I had to go to a different salon and have them fix it......Don't let her touch your hair until she has more time training. Be careful! read more

My hair gal Jenny just moved over to Vibes. She is great with color! My fave is pink & purple and some times I add other colors. She is a great stylist and just makes it a fun appointment. She does what the client wants, not what she wants. read more

As named, great vibe right when you walk in the door. Got in on a Friday evening. Alex is great. Knows what he's doing, takes his time, meticulous, and is a real good guy to chat with. Well worth what you pay, especially if you've been butchered before at one of those low-cost chop shops. Will be back for sure. read more

I love this salon! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair cut and I can wear my hair curly or straight! I love it.

Love, love LOVE this salon. I went in to see Jaime and she is fantastic! Not only did she fix my hair from the last butcher job I had done on my hair but she gave me a great hair color also! And she is such a sweetheart. I will never go anywhere else again. She's my hair dresser for life :D I cannot recommend her or this salon enough. Everyone in there was sweet and helpful. Great, warm feeling, comfortable, clean, awesome atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I had Karesha do my hair and it looks great! I was finally able to get the type of hi - lights that I've been wanting for a long time. She also gave me a great cut as well. It's been a couple of months since then and my hair still looks good! The color still looks like I just had it done. Had seen another stylist there before, but Karesha is my girl now! Go see her! My thanks to hubby for the gift certificate at birthday time. read more

I am so happy I found Vibes Salon. :-) My experience was amazing! The salon was cute, cozy, clean and in a convenient location. The parking was easy. The staff was friendly. Ray is truly a master stylist. He really took his time during the consult to listen, explain and ensure that I received the style I desired. By the way, I am picky and have very thick hair. I left feeling very satisfied. He is fantastic! I am getting highlights next week and plan to keep him as my stylist for as long as possible. FIVE STARS!!! read more

i had a lady names Jessica be extremely rude and refuse to do what i wanted to and kept saying to do completely differnt things then what i wanted. she told me to just go and buy a wig because she refused to dye it for me. extremely rude and would not recommend. read more

The haircut was good but the shop was dirty and I was not told upfront that each thing done on my hair was a seperate price - washing one price, blowdrying another fee and of course the cut another fee - very misleading - wouldn't go back read more

Visited Jillian again, really I won't go to anyone else -- she's a true cosmo. This time we went with a strawberry blonde and she did a stunning job. Looks naturally, it's not pink or weird. So far I have received a ton of compliments -- but this too is not surprising . She spent 4 hours on my hair, made me feel like a rockstar! Her rates are off the hook, cut, two colors, and style = my rate $60 + tip (I don't know if this is a frequent flyer discount cause I see her every 6 weeks or so), regardless she's reasonable and talented. I can tell she's really building a reputation for herself because her schedule is not as flexible as it used to be. Good thing I'm already on her A-list as a lifer :D -- Oh, and I have never included her phone number in my previous reviews, cause I secretly I didn't really want to share her, I just wanted to brag about my awesome hairstylist...but, if you love something set it free --Jillians #(916) 316-5780 -- read more

I have been going to Karesha for about 6 months or so. She is a great stylist, personable, and reasonable. I am super picky - and she does a wonderful job with my color and has great tips for keeping your hair healthy. read more

There is a female stylist that is just terrible! She turned my mom's hair pink, yikes. In addition, she fried my hair. Be very careful when choosing a stylist at this salon. read more

There are some great people in the salon. Fantastic cuts for men.

I have been going to Shelly Hoover for about 6 months and she always does a great job. She takes her time and always asks what you want. She can also suggest what looks good too. I highly recommend her. read more

I have been going to Sandy since I was a teenager and she does an absolutely amazing job! She works with a high level of integrity. For example I remember when I wanted my hai dyed and I wanted a lot of it but she did not give me a lot in fear that too much could ruin my hair so it was a gradual process. When she trims your hair she does not cut off a lot but if you want a lot cut off she can do that to. She does not overbook so when your appointment is at a certain time you can be certain that you will be in your chair at your appointment time. read more

Ray did an excellent job on my hair, I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror.

I found Alex Smith from Vibes Salon about a year ago on yelp. Being a guy I never thought it made much of a difference where you get your haircut, so I was surprised when I started getting compliments all the time after haircuts from Alex! I've been to all haircutting chains and many salons, but nobody has spent as much time making sure my haircut is perfect every time. The man is talented and obviously knows what he's doing. It's well worth setting up an appointment and coming here. Plus, he's a great guy and is fun to talk to! read more
