She can also walk you to your appointment! In case you're a bit early for your appointment, there's a great area with chairs, a TV and a coffee/tea/hot chocolate machine! Water is offered too. I am leaving this review to share my honest experience so others can make an informed decision before booking. I booked with Gianna in suite 303. I wanna mention that I paid nearly $400 for a color service and returned for a second appointment in good faith to allow the stylist an opportunity to correct the result. Unfortunately, after two visits, my hair remained the same color as when I started, except now with noticeable bleach damage. While the stylist was willing to attempt to fix my hair, it became very clear that policy was prioritized over client satisfaction and outcome. There was no acknowledgment that the desired result was not achieved, and no flexibility offered despite the fact that I left with no improvement after two services. Had there been honest communication from the beginning about limitations or the possibility that my inspiration could not be achieved, I would not have moved forward. Instead, I am now faced with additional expenses to repair and correct my hair elsewhere. This review is not written out of anger, but out of transparency. I strongly encourage anyone considering booking to do thorough research, ask very detailed questions, and fully understand expectations and policies before committing, especially for major color services. I'm writing this review for my wife. She have never been so happy with her hair! Gianna in Suite 303 truly exceeded her expectations. She took the time to listen to everything she wanted and made sure she was comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. I got a haircut from mary before my two week long birthday vacation, only to pay $90 for my length in the front to be cut short claiming it's a "bang" or a "layer" when you're not supposed to cut that hair, and gaslight into believing it was my fault because it's "what i wanted." my birthday was ruined by how ugly my hair looks. the third photo is my before. why would i ruin my hair for $90 and to be told to wait a week for it to grow. the conversation screenshot is her saying all that. i get it if she confessed she messed up, but saying ITS WHAT I WANTED AND TO LET MY EIGHT INCHES SHE CUT OFF GROW BACK anddddddddd not even cutting my hair straight is actually insane. that's when you own up and refund me fully. i'll never come back here and refuse to get a haircut ever again after this. i should have known to not come in when she double booked me and was trying to reschedule me but then just ended up rushing. i should've known. read more

From her quality of hair she has for you to pick, to her ability to blend. She does a great job with coloring your hair and even goes the extra mile with following up days later to make sure you are happy with your service. I went to this salon a couple of times and even recommended it to past co-workers. After a few times going to W Salon Suites,  I swore to myself I would never go back. Kayla Ellsworth (Chmura) was my hairstylist- wow, I couldn't believe my hair. Received a few compliments then after a day or two,  colors weren't blending and it looked horrible.  She bought me platinum blonde extensions without color matching. I asked for something different and asked for red or pink highlights and got fuchsia with pink bleeding at the end of the extensions. (How about you ask your clients first if they prefer light or dark pink before applying instead of assuming??)  She did not even attempt to get the pink at the ends of extensions out of my hair, which two days later I tried striping and lavender ended up on my ends from purple shampoo. My hair did not even blend into the extensions and Kayla did not leave the bleach on long enough and my haircut was uneven.  I couldn't believe that she told me to use Baking Soda or Malibu Blonde Packets and wanted to wait a week to squeeze me in to try to fix her mistakes. I needed a color correction and a blended haircut after leaving the salon badly!! Luckily, I  found a new stylist on the opposite side of town who fixed my hair to a beautiful Cool Icey Blonde. BUT, the rest of the folks there are also wonderful, friendly, professional, and caring. My regular esthetician had to cancel on me this week, so late yesterday I texted Patty on the off chance she knew someone. She texted back she had forwarded my request to the manager. I took my girlfriend there for a color change to ash from the light brown she had done herself in the past. To make sure we showed pics to Salisa Campo whom goes by MAD BEAUTY whom said she could meet our expectation. The first thing Salisa done was screwed up was to color my girlfriends roots an inch instead of being subtle so they didn't show. The second thing Salisa did was to color her blond instead ash which was absolutely not even close to ash. The third thing Salisa did was to charge me $190.00!!!!!!!!!! Setting: The W Suites are awesome! There is a receptionist who greets you and seats you in the lounge area where you can help yourself to coffee or espresso out of this awesome machine. It is large building with multiple salons and absolute elegance inside. I get my hair and nails done in separate studios inside the W Suites. The suites are open 24/7 so if you absolutely need a crazy appointment time, your stylist has the ability to schedule you whenever. NAILS: DAWN BUZZ NAILS: I have bounced around to get my nails done and dropped in wherever I was close to. I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! I have found my nail home. From the very first time meeting Dawn, I knew my nails game had just stepped up. She is an incredible artist - she can hand paint just about anything you want but also has a massive stamp collection for art. Super cool - had never seen that before. It was like christmas watching her. It was a mystery as to how she would get that cute little design on my nail. Are you intrigued? Good! Go see her and see the amazingness that is stamping. Her new salon makes me feel like I'm at the Ritz-Carlton but boasts pricing that is incredibly competitive with your nail salon at every block. You're doing your nails an injustice if you don't visit at least once. You're doing yourself an injustice if you don't go back! HAIR: KABRA - MOSS HAIR HAUS While having dinner one night, I met Kabra and we started talking about what I wanted to do to my hair. Instantly I felt that she was extremely knowledgeable in color formulation and technique of application. It has been a rough road finding someone who knows how to do proper blonding of a true brunette. I will be the first to admit that my hair is extremely difficult and likes to fool you. Typically, I am in the salon for at least 5 hours and leave feeling less than pleased. Simply not the case when I had Kabra do my hair service. The service I had done: Color/Highlight: I had massive amounts of blonde added to my hair. To set the stage for this one I want to mention that I have been raised in the beauty industry and am extremely knowledgeable. So, I was shocked when Kabra finished my foils and color in what seemed like an instant! It is one thing to finish quickly, but they were impeccable! Not a single "holiday" meaning cheetah looking spots. The color was even throughout and had very minimal damage to my hair. It is unreasonable to expect no damage when you are going from an extreme dark to extreme light. Rinse time: Ummm can we say, I would pay her money to just wash my hair everyday! Wow, what an amazing head massage while being rinsed. She also did a deep conditioning treatment. My hair felt normal again; even better than when I arrived. Cut/Style: This was the first time she touched my hair and she knew me well enough in those few hours to cut my hair to my exact expectation and taught me how to style it exactly how I have been trying for the last several years. Price point: It is more than I am used to paying but when you never walk out of a salon happy, paying more is fine with me! however, her prices are not out of industry standard whatsoever. Color, cut & style cost me $145 but was discounted for my first visit. Summary: Kabra is phenomenal. She is funny and personable. As always, James continuous to impress me with the quality of the cuts he does. Whenever I'm looking to venture out of my usual style or I want some advice on ways to switch it up, he always delivers. If you are in search of a great experience I would highly recommend W Salon. It has become the go-to Salon for all of my beauty needs. Let me start by saying the W Salon is beautiful and very inviting. Their receptionist is friendly and knowledgable and the owners are two of the nicest people I have ever met. The Salon itself has a very well designed guest area where you can have complimentary drinks and relax in front of a tele. if you happen to arrive early. Each room is custom designed and an eye pleasing experience in and of itself. One of my first visits was to find someone who could work with my natural nails as they had become badly damaged due to the fiberglass nails I had worn for years. I was introduced to Dawn, owner of Dawn Buzz nails. I was stunned that with my crumbling, thin, ugly nails she was able to work some kind of magic and my nails looked great even on the first visit. To my delight with her knowledge and techniques she was able to quickly repair my nail damage and now, my natural nails are strong and long. I absolutely love Dawns nail art. She also does micro blading which is the best idea if you have sparse brows. Shelena does my hair and that wasn't an easy job either. Before we met, I let her know my scalp had been terribly itchy for quite some time and I wasn't sure how to proceed. She did her research and when I arrived she was ready for me. She did an amazing job with my hair color and started me on a scalp calming shampoo that works great for my itchy scalp. She also has a wonderful assistant, Alaina who shampoos and gives a scalp message. They are a great team. All in all, I would highly recommend the W Studios and Dawn Buzz nails and Shelena of Thairapy in particular. Valerie is a sweet girl but she does not know how to color dark hair or cut layers. I hate to leave this review but I do not want others to have to waste their money. I spent close to $500 and told her I do not want orange and that is what she did. I asked for layers but she only layers the front.
