She is an elderly woman and doesn't know how to use her cell phone to find locations and she had no clue where she was at and she witnessed violence and was almost assaulted. I was able to find her due to an Uber driver helping me but it took me almost about two hours. Two hours of anguish, two hours that she stayed there out in the cold in anguish and I was afraid to lose her since she did not have the tools to locate herself. Horrible, disgusting and I am taking them to court for risking my mother's life.

And that they could not refund the money per the terms stated. When I let him know there was nothing on the terms that said "they" could change the time to whatever time they desired at any time. He still said he could not do anything to refund or transfer the tickets!! I should have listened to the comments when they said not to purchase their tickets!!! Still made it to Monterrey however since I bought a round ticket from Turimex I traveled back to Dallas on this bus. The bus never made pit stops so it's a 10hr+ bus without food or water. The bus did have outlets for chargers but they did not work. The seats are uncomfortable and they pack the bus as much as they can. I don't know if this is all the drivers but our driver asked for tips at the end of the ride. Worst experience traveling.

    I took my first trip on MegaBus from San Antonio to Dallas a while back. Sure, you can get there…read morequicker in a car, but the amount of time on the bus wasn't too much longer. It only took us 5 hours and 25 minutes to get from the pickup point in SA to the drop off point in Dallas. Since COVID times, rider attendance is down, so they don't seem to be using the double decker buses with the tables facing each other. It was a standard Greyhound type bus contracted out of Kerrville, but we were able to sleep and watch Netflix on their free WiFi, and take advantage of their power plugs. Both 110V standard plugs for laptops, as well as USB charging ports. The bus even had a restroom for the 5 hour trip, and the bus was clean and in good shape. Tickets from San Antonio to Dallas are only $32.54 - one way (including taxes, fees, etc.). You just can't beat that with a stick! Keep in mind that they will make a stop in Austin to drop people off and board additional passengers. The driver announced that it would be a 10 minute stop, but it was closer to 30 minutes. Regardless, we still made it to DFW ahead of schedule. Pickup and drop off spots: San Antonio - just a big old parking lot. No indoor waiting area, so don't show up too early. Austin- it looks like they have an indoor facility but it was closed by the time we got there. Dallas - drop off - located at Fuel City, which is a popular food and party place on late Saturday nights. I hope I don't have to use this service again any time soon, but it's good to know it's there if you need it! I would use it again if necessary. Good value!

On March 3, 2026, I boarded Greyhound Bus Route US1160 traveling from San Antonio to Austin. The boarding process itself was relatively straightforward, but a serious issue arose after my trip when I realized approximately one hour after arrival that my suitcase had been left in the secured undercarriage compartment of the bus. Because the undercarriage luggage compartment is locked and controlled exclusively by Greyhound personnel, the bag remained in the company's custody while the bus continued to its final stop in Dallas. I immediately submitted a lost property report while the bus was still in transit and was told the investigation would take approximately 7 business days. It has now been about a month without recovery of the suitcase or a clear explanation regarding what inspection procedures were conducted once the bus reached its final destination. The suitcase contained electronics, clothing, and personal items, including limited-availability apparel that cannot easily be replaced. Additionally, during the claims process I requested a reasonable communication accommodation due to a disability that affects my ability to process complex written communication in high-stress situations. I requested phone communication to ensure effective participation in resolving the issue, but communication continued primarily through email, making the process significantly more difficult. When asking questions regarding Emotional Support Animal (ESA) policies, responses at times felt dismissive when simply seeking clarification. Given that many travelers rely on Greyhound as an affordable transportation option, clearer procedures and more consistent customer support would greatly improve the experience. I hope Greyhound improves: * lost property handling procedures * communication transparency * accessibility-related communication practices * customer support responsiveness I am sharing this experience so other travelers can be informed and so improvements can be made to help prevent similar issues in the future. I attempted to get help from the greyhound ada line, also customer service. No one could get me a person in the bus station. Returned inside to get name of manager. Refused name and help at ticket counter. Security Glen Davis said I had to leave, refusing help. Called San Antonio police as last effort for assistance. They were no help to him telling him I could try back after lunch. Maybe they would be there. Standing on the side of the building in full meltdown waiting on police. Still no assistance. Filing Grievance with company, will contact attorney if needed. Investigate please. I have had problems with them in past but not to this extent.

The train sat there for well over 90 minutes without letting anyone board. The "dining car" had issues with meals and you had to make reservations (on a train!)! The diner car staff had no problem announcing that in El Paso there is a burrito lady like 6 times only to see a uniformed Amtrak woman helping this unlicensed vendor on the platform!!! I think she was making change! The cafe was the saving grace as you cannot just go eat in the dining car. I thought this would be fun and relaxing but it turned out to be so much like riding a Greyhound bus that it will probably be the last time in my life that I try it. I was told that location park and ride was free but discovered it had a pay system in place. I called via and they said you needed to get a transfer from the driver to place on our car windshield. Not a great plan since I would need to get the transfer ticket, place it on my car and now have to wait for the next bus. That system isn't efficient at all. We paid for parking and went on the rodeo. The drivers were the real standout this night. Both the bus to and then the last bus from Frost Bank Center had stand out drivers. Super courteous. Answered all my questions and even reminded me where to jump off. The common thread of both drivers was their genuine kindness towards all passengers. Attentive to their needs and always a thank you for riding via of have a nice day to those exiting the bus. The drivers earned thus 5 star review.

Have seen the driver deny access to people waiting 4 minutes before departure time, not to mention the people who arrived less than 4 minutes to departure time, but still before departure time. Have also seen the driver on the Dallas to Houston trip make a student buy them snacks. Like when the student didn't immediately say okay to paying for his snacks, he stared her down and repeated himself until she got off the bus and walked to the counter to pay for his snacks. This is coercement. She probably only paid because she was afraid he'd leave her stranded at the midway stop instead of her destination. If this system wasn't essentially the only reliable way to travel between these cities without relying on carpooling with strangers, I would not be using it. One way tickets on Friday/Sunday were $30-$40 each on a random non holiday week, so the trip wasn't extremely cheap either.
