Mazda dealership in fact suggested going here as it was probably something to do with some kind of broken seal that they would likely send out anyway and I'm so glad I did! John, the owner, could've gouged me for a lot more money like most dealerships would have and I never would've known. Instead, he was honest and straight up. Had the problem figured out in about 10 min, told me to go buy the parts myself and save their markup, and it would be an easy fix he'd have done in about half an hour. True to his word, I was in and out, and all for an EXTREMELY reasonable cost. I also have a cracked driver's' side mirror that I've been avoiding fixing as it was too expensive through Mazda, but I've now ordered one through Apple as I know it'll be another fast and easy fix. Being new to Nanaimo, so happy I lucked out finding these guys on my first repair and can't recommend them enough. Love "service" businesses that get that taking a little less up front almost always guarantees long-term relationships in the end. I will definitely use Apple for any other repairs and wanted to take a minute and commend them for their excellent service, rates, and honesty. You generally assume you're being screwed somehow when it comes to most car repairs. Really nice to leave an auto shop with the exact opposite feeling. Keep up the great work!

Bought a 2016 Hyundai Elantra Sport from them. Noticed my engine sounded like a diesel and they…read moretold me it was my ac compressor (ac was still working when they told me that) and so I got my ac compressor replaced. $2500 out of my pocket because the insurance they upsold me didn't cover it. The issue was still there and I took my car back in, they said there was no issue with my car and the noise was normal. I took my car to a second mechanic because I knew something was wrong, 5 minutes into this random mechanic looking at my car he said I need a new engine. At this point I had been in and out of the dealer and so mentally drained because they told me it was my ac compressor, and kept telling me the engine noise was normal (it wasn't). I asked my partner to go in because I figured they would take a man more serious than me and they mentioned a recall on the hyundai engine in the Elantra I bought. When I got this car I was advised all recalls were completed (example: the trunk latch). They said they would take a picture of my engine and lowe and behold the borescope showed scoring on my engine (see the first picture). I got a replacement engine and all I got for their misdiagnosis and telling me my engine was normal was an apology from Brody. An apology for their errors that costed me time off work, stress, and $2500.00 out of my pocket for a car they had mentioned was reliable. I had driven this car after and mentioned shaking after my engine replacement which they offered me a trade in for my issues. None of the cars they had were cars I wanted and they advised the sales person I spoke to would contact us. They never did. They advised me my car would survive the drive from Nanaimo to Ontario and I believed them. It didn't. My "new engine" now has the same issue as the engine prior which is in the second picture attached. Less than 2,000kms later and this is the third engine in a car I purchased in June of 2024 which Ben sold me as a reliable car and which the mechanics have advised me would survive the drive back. I have since traded this car in and now I'm suffering the consequences of not only being down $2500 but I also have negative equity as I haven't even had the car for a year. At the time of purchasing the vehicle I was advised this was a reliable car by Ben who said he wanted his girlfriend to purchase the car. I had to get brand new tires immediately because the tires were cracking, paint was chipping on the hood immediately, and the ac compressor was a misdiagnosis for an engine issue they were very well aware of. The two other hyundai dealerships one in Winnipeg which took the borescope picture in the second photo, as well as another dealer in Ontario were both astonished by the terrible service level I received by Wheaton Hyundai.

Said no of course and then noticed the majority of vehicle entering were getting the message on the overhead monitor that an alignment was needed. Then after doing the recall was told that there was a major leak and the solution was a repair/replace that would cost $2500 as well as a smaller brake issue. I was quoted about $3000 total. Had the car looked at by a different service center- no need for an alignment, no issue with the brakes and the issue was an oil filter that was not fully tightened and was leaking a little bit. $85 later I have the tires rotated, brakes looked at and an oil change. I can't believe what they try to get away with.

First one was a glass shower stall, then most recently replacement windows in a cabin. For the first purchase, I was most impressed with their level of after-sale service-they came twice, and readily so, to adjust and tweak the strength of the magnetic close of the shower door. Remember, I live a ferry ride away. Then with the window purchase, Mike worked really hard to schedule Butch to come out to measure at as early a date as they could make it, then scheduled me very quickly after the windows arrived. Again, this is scheduling for an Island visit. Butch's measurement and assessment of the situation was careful and precise, so much so that when he and Derrick came to install, it was smooth and efficient. AND they cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Meanwhile, the office team of Melanie and Tasha were always helpful on the phone taking and confirming orders. Wasting a customer's time for weeks with little to no communication is completely unprofessional. As a business owner myself, I understand being busy, but ignoring customers is not an excuse. Because of the lack of communication and reliability, I had to take the project elsewhere after losing over a month waiting. If you value your time and need a company that actually communicates and follows through, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
