Ample outdoor seating and plenty of space inside with a nice bar and televisions if you want to catch the game. We also enjoyed live music on Friday and Saturday night. @ambertasticalness played on Friday and became and instant favorite. Before I say anything I think it's important to note that I have been in the service industry for almost a decade- I'm willing to put up with a lot and completely understand that a lot of times the situation is outside of the waitstaff's control. I was confused from the moment we sat down. A bartender said he would be out to help us but never showed up, eventually someone who seemed to be a manager came and took our order. When he came around to me and my wife, we specifically asked about the vegetarian offering and what our options were. He confirmed that we could get a veggie burger and we both ordered that. Over an hour later our food arrived and during our wait there was no communication from any of the staff (we didn't have a dedicated server) about why the food was taking so long or even that it was taking longer than normal. Both my wife's burger and mine were regular beef patties with grilled mushroom slices and no other toppings. We also ordered the truffle and Parmesan fries that are served with a horseradish aioli. After the fries hit the table sans sauce, we asked if we could get some and were informed that they were out of the aioli. Even more disappointing for my in laws who ordered the featured burger was that the patties were literally the size of silver dollars. After waiting almost an hour and a half for our food to come out, we chose to inform a server that our food was wrong but we didn't care to wait for the kitchen to figure it out again. We got our check for our drinks and left. All I'll say to finish this already incredibly long review is that everyone I interacted with was very kind, while mostly unhelpful. Having worked in a hotel bar/restaurant before, I know that usually the cause of these situations is poor management or support of the people actually working on the floor. Maybe Hotel Indigo can figure out how to run a halfway functioning restaurant in the near future, I just won't be back to find out if they're successful.

After walking through gravel and returning, we entered, paid, once I sat down, the security came to mention that my other friend needed to return her handbag. The signage should be clear for ALL patrons and not discretion. The dimensions of the purse did not equate to large or big. I looked across the room and saw a purse (same size) sitting on a counter that someone else had. I was baffled that security saw us, allowed us to enter and pay. The communication with the owner was poor. No eye contact and seem as if he did not want to be bothered and sadly we were told he wasn't there. Tip: Provide clear communication to ALL staff and on signage to clearly specify the dimensions of handbags that are not permitted and be sure that your staff is informed, instead of picking who you want to select, because there's difference in a large tote, small handbag, clutch or wristlet.

I love that they love performing. They also seem to be very supportive of each other, which, somehow, makes you laugh even more. When the cast is laughing at their own tom foolery, how can you not also laugh? And they have several shows a week! This would make a great date night or even an evening of fun and relaxation by yourself. Don't forget to tip!

One session was about improv and Steven was the "teacher." Y'all, improv is hard and not for the faint of heart. I like to think I'm a witty person, but I got stage fright/deer-in-the-headlights look when asked to do some basic stuff. LOL. I've then got to see a couple of showcases and these people are funny! You gotta get to one of their shows and see how it's done. If you're really curious, you can take a class and become one of these funny people. This is an underrated group of people in this town and more people need to know about this group.

We sat there at our table for a couple of hours, enjoying the music coming from the outside speakers. A few people were seated scattered amongst the spacious patio as we enjoyed the beers. I enjoyed cans of The Promenade American IPA by Hutton & Smith Brewing and Keypunch Sour Gose by Urban Artifact. Both were solid beers perfect for the summer temperatures and energy on this particular July evening. "What's upstairs?"…read more That's been the question on Chattanooga's social scene's mind for the past year. Everyone wants to climb the stairs of the second floor of The Bitter Alibi. Well, now you can! The idea is a cocktail bar. Pretty simple, right? And that's just it, that's all it is. No tricks, no whistles, no $16 cocktails with some weird Japanese spirit that you don't know anything about. You want a good cocktail by seasoned bartenders, well, then there ya go. Oh, and they dress them up! Umbrellas! Fun straws! Even little plastic pterodactyls. Yeah, I don't know what it means either, but it's fun and much better than staying at home watching America's Funniest Home Videos and eating your sad pasta. It's a very intimate space, enough for about 20 people. The idea is reminiscent of a tiki lounge; macramé adorns the walls, the daiquiris are served in big parrot-styled cups, there's a sound system playing club music.
