Just needed to run in and find a backpack but ended up with a few more items. They have so much to choose from, from brands like ed hardy, von Dutch and baby bliss. Finding a babyliss shaver that's originally $150 marked down to $49 was a major find. Overall, the store is very clean, organized and the customer service is great. The line was typical for that of TJ MAXX but it flowed well. Great pit stop, I may have to stop by again before the day is over!

It's not that large or cheap of a store that they should have this problem on the regular. Prices are rather higher for some departments and not really a bargin. Clothes need better organization and that department overall is small. On the plus side - if you find something damaged, even if already marked down bring it to the manager's attention - they will give you 10% off but usually the register calculates 20% instead - score! To sum it up shop the highlights: furniture, housewares, fancier food products, clearance, purses Skip: clothes (all), beauty, toys, shoes (pri$ey!) Highlights for me are the rug/flooring : here you'll find bound rugs, unbound carpets, vinyl, outdoor plastic grass, area rugs both large and small, hardwood flooring etc. Much better selection and prices than other area retailers - even better than Walmart for smaller rug purchases. The quality is kinda all over the place - I found a beautiful high end 10 x 14' 100% wool rug for $300 for example, mixed with the run of the mill Walmart area rug variety. I also think their book dept is top notch, as well as toys (in season, more around Christmastime) and hardware if you need a gallon of paint and aren't fussy about color. Lacking is the food and beauty departments, pet care, linens, clothing, etc - more in the 2 star range. Help is almost non existent. The cleanliness could certainly be improved but this location is the cleaner of the two. When asking for a manager you might be told (like I was) to "look for the guy in the black shirt". Not the best customer service approach but when I found him and alerted him to minor damage on a $200 + product he was all to happy to offer a 25% discount w/out even looking at it! I have a budget and I like to stick to it. However a friend insisted I come here 15 years ago. Back than I wasn't impressed but did get a good deal - my husband, met him in isle 2! But sadly it was another 13 years before I ever went back. Frustrated with the ever raising costs of groceries and my hatred (yes, strong word but my feelings are strong) for my local Giant I gave them another shot and am glad I did! Since my first visit many moons ago they became more like a regular grocery store, offering more than just snacks and all the departments (meat, diary, canned, produce, etc) that you would find at your local grocer just on a smaller scale. Unlike the old days they now have bags! No more sorting trying to find a box for your loot! I admit I still don't shop here exclusively for my weekly grocery shopping. I'm still a planner and like to go in with a list and leave with every item on it. While you can't do that here you will knock off a good chunk, especially if you are not partial to a particular brand. I have seen flyers from time to time with their specials but don't think it's something they do on the regular so it is hard to plan. You never know what you'll find till you get there. Where they excel is juice (in both price and selection), cleaners (although not cheaper than Dollar General), snacks, and freezer items. I also think their prices and selection are good on cheeses and dairy products although you need to watch the dates closely. Pet food tends to run more and the selection isn't as great. And while they do have a nice, but small produce selection that looks good in the store I'm disappointed 80% of the time on its freshness when I get it home. Organic brands can also be found here, although not as plentiful as other discount grocers. Meats are also hits or miss, some weeks I find hamburger/chicken priced higher than Giant and not looking so good and other times (like this past week) I hit the jackpot with both freshness, selection, and price. I don't know if they take coupons but it's worth looking into. They do however offer a $3 coupon if you sign up for their emails. Be sure to bring a pen to the store as you add your name and phone # to the bottom of the receipt showing the money you saved and they have drawings to double it. There is a clear box for entries at the window by the exit/entrance. This is not common knowledge and something you have to find out on your own. I've never won but typically save in the $65 range on $100 worth of groceries so I'd love to win me some $130 in free groceries! Also...if you see something your family uses on the regular at a good price, stock up! It might be awhile till you find it again. And who knows, maybe if you're lucky you'll leave with a significant other...like I did!

The lady was super nice and offered to replace the batteries while I looked around in other parts of the store. The bathrooms were very clean and conveniently located in the store. The new batteries were a great deal. So much less expensive than a jewelry store. Some of the prices in other departments were a bit higher though. Parking was very convenient.
