This Tanger is located Route 30 (East or West) on Lincoln Highway. This Tanger Outlets in Lancaster, PA is not a huge outlet mall, as noted accurately by fellow Yelper Dave L. There are high-end stores as Brooks Brothers, Movado, Kate Spade, Ann Taylor. Tanger is equipped with parking, and restroom facilities. Facilities are relatively clean. The store directory is obscured but my party walked to circle the grounds. There is also a printed store directory for grabs. Again, upon exiting the car the air had a high functioning stench of horse manure to heaven! The noisome odor emanating from the nearby unseen horse stables made it difficult for my party to enjoy the shopping experience, amid the dangerous excessive heat wave of Independence Day 2026 holiday weekend. The store is organized very well, with all the shoes displayed around the perimeter, and ample stock within the middle of the store. At first I said "just looking", but soon enough she was my best friend, helping with sizing, and very accurate descriptions of some of the shoes, and the options in the store. I wound up going in to buy one pair, and walked out with four pair. It was tough to resist, buy one pair, get a second pair 25% off. Had some questions, but no help...store clerks were busy folding clothes. So, I gave-up on that and just grabbed the pair of pants I came in for. Went to pay: Stood at register for an inordinately long time (clerks were still folding clothes, you see). Finally, counter help arrives, but she doesn't know how to ring me up as half cash/half gift card (had a little $ leftover on a gift card from a previous bad time at a Van Heusen in Tinton Falls-NJ...where clerks snapped at me for asking if they had my size in the back). Clerk finally gets help (from the "folding clothes lady")...and I'm good to go, right? Well, while walking out, I saw what I was looking for (my unanswered questions), but I was thinking "I need to come back another time, when things are running more smoothly." Grab the door handle to leave...ALARM goes off! The clerk never removed the security tag from the pants I purchased. Suddenly, I had lots of clerks around me (now you know how to get help there). Was the attention good? Well, not with the Amish girls who were shopping there, whispering and pointing at me...like "Das Outlaw" for violating the Ordnung, lol. Back to the register, where they finally removed the anti-theft tag. I'm thinking this is why retail is hurting and internet sales are booming. The poor shop owners...employees don't care if they sell anything. In fact, I would have spent at least double or triple what I did...but I felt like I needed to get out of there. Who says shopping is...FUN? (Should mention: One question I had was that many items were marked xx-percentage off...but no other price, except for the non-sale price. So, everything I picked-up I had to pull out my phone calculator...very few actual sale prices were posted).
