It has been decades since I have shopped at Tanger Outlets. My last visit to a Tanger Outlets Center was Riverhead, NY (Long Island) circa 2004 with my former love which a fairly good size and contain a lot of stores. This Tanger is located Route 30 (East or West) on Lincoln Highway. This Tanger Outlets in Lancaster, PA is not a huge outlet mall, as noted accurately by fellow Yelper Dave L. There are high-end stores as Brooks Brothers, Movado, Kate Spade, Ann Taylor. Tanger is equipped with parking, and restroom facilities. Facilities are relatively clean. The store directory is obscured but my party walked to circle the grounds. There is also a printed store directory for grabs. Again, upon exiting the car the air had a high functioning stench of horse manure to heaven! The noisome odor emanating from the nearby unseen horse stables made it difficult for my party to enjoy the shopping experience, amid the dangerous excessive heat wave of Independence Day 2026 holiday weekend. This mall is very large and spread out, but with cute signage and a nice variety of stores. The prices are not great considering it's an outlet, and I wish they had more stores. The parking lot can get very crowded and it's hard to walk between all the stores because of the layout, though you definitely could it would just take a long time. The selection in the stores was decent and service was fine, I wouldn't say it's just a pretty typical outlet mall experience. read more

loved the outlets in Tanger Lancaster. However, while I was in the Michael Kors store, I felt extremely uncomfortable. The salesgirl was always standing 3 feet away from me. Then I noticed her step away.... I think she went into the back of the store and another sales rep... a man dressed in black, and African American man, he also was standing very close to me. Obliviously they both thought I was there to shop lift. WHICH I WAS NOT! I caught the man watching me and pretending to answer messages on his phone. Continuing to glance up at me, numerous times. I'm 73-year-old women.... who has staunch morals and ethics... I would not steal from anyone or a store. I'm highly insulted that I was treated in this manner. This outlet made us sad. It was a bunch of stores crammed into a small area. If you are visiting Amish Country, this can just be skipped. Most stores were not having great sales. As you leave the parking lot, you'll pass Sonic. We had more fun there. I prefer the outlet in Annapolis. read more

Definitely beat outlet store if you live closer by. The stores here have more collections compared to other outlet malls. I like the variety of shops in the mall. Easy to drive by, park where you want to and do the shopping. Use the maps so you can navigate easily. The staff in all shops are friendly if you are unable to find a store. There are a lot of food options closer. Also, it's very close to Dutch wonderland. They have coupons and also more discounts available in the app by buying membership. Service definitely has room for improvement at the New Balance Factory Store. I wasn't approached or ever asked if i needed assistance. Very discouraging, teenagers seem to be staffed at this location. To make matters way worse, I caught a middle aged man very obviously recording my backside-or attempting to do so as I was looking at shoes. When I told my partner who was there with me at the time about what I noticed, he told me that the man grabbed his son and quickly left the store right away. When I looked over at the employees, they were all watching and laughing about it together. That was really sad, really disheartening to see. Not that the teenage employees were expected to tackle this man by any means, but to show any kind of empathy would have been so appreciated in that moment. It was really upsetting to look over and see them standing there chuckling about a possible sexual assault that may have occurred while they all stood by the register. As someone who works in a client-oriented role myself, this was honestly a terrible experience. To know that they seemed fully aware of the situation at hand and they decided to laugh and stare is deeply upsetting to me. I came to visit Tanger Outlets in Lancaster for the first time and this specific shop was unfortunately the first and last I checked out. I left after this incident. read more

I prefer these outlets to the one in Hershey. They have a little bit more selection and shopping options. If you're a bargain shopper, you can usually find a good deal hidden away on a clearance rack. They also have chargers for your car if you have an EV like we do. read more

This place, my oh my, this place was basically the death blow for the other nearby outlet mall. It's newer, bigger, and well laid out (even though it is more spread out), and it knocked the other outlet mall to the ground. Mostly what you will find here is your typical stores you would come across at any other outlet mall out there. A majority of the stores here are focused on clothing with a few stores thrown in that cater to a niche. Unlike many Tanger Outlets I have been to, this one has a centralized parking lot with the perimeter being lined with the sprawling buildings filled with stores. Sometimes it is easier to park near a store you want to go to and venture so far before returning to your vehicle to venture to the next location within the outlet mall. However, I did not do that. I parked near the first store I knew I was going to go into and I walked the perimeter. It turned out to be a decent walk. I suppose this equates to the mall for them here, which isn't bad, but I am sure this is not a fun place to visit when it is direly cold outside. It wasn't bad when it was quite warm out, but on the other end of the spectrum, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. read more

I've been to this Tanger location in Lancaster a few times. A nice drive taking the scenic bypass from where we are in MD. I've found the selections and deals are better in fall/winter vs summer and the Tanger loyalty extra discounts are worth joining for and becoming a member. The Sunglass Hut is a good one for deals. I've purchased a few pair at this location. I like the Johnston & Murphy, Tommy Hilfiger and Banana Republic stores as I seem to find something I like more often than not. They've definitely added a few stores in the last year or so (The North Face & Polo) and expanded the options. It is outside (with cover) so check the temps before heading out. We've enjoyed going to the local restaurants nearby for food. Bonus-clothes are tax free in PA. read more

Tanger outlets Lancaster is better than the Tanger at the national harbor for sure. More stores, better deals, and spacious. Plenty of parking space and food trucks are available to stop at while you shop. My top stores were puma, express, and fossil. I'm assuming the ugg store just open but I didn't get a chance to go in cause I refuse to stand in line (maybe next time when the weather is more outside friendly). Nice amount of stores and ample parking. If you've been to an outlet you know what to expect in terms of variety such as clothing, shoes, home goods, jewelery, etc. There is also a good wine store here that has a flights option that lets you sample 6 different wines You can also join their members program for $10 at the outlet office. Being a member gave us some coupons and access to some parking spots reserved for members. You also get points for purchases from the stores in the outlet and enough points puts you into a higher tier which gives you more coupon options. We got knocked up 2 tiers from our purchases the day we joined and sadly I can't say there was much difference between the tier coupons, but some of the coupons were pretty useful, and the coupon book is $5 for non members. Also, the parking is nice to have on days when they are really packed. read more

This mall has a bunch of great outlet stores.. the only thing I can say bad about it would be the fact that it needs more parking space. On weekends every spot is taken with eager shoppers looking to score some deals and discounts. I understand there are many parking areas, but they need to make a little more because when I came- hunting for a spot was difficult. The mall has bath and body works, and the Nike outlet which are my favorite stores and also some other stores like yankee candle and Skechers. The mall is also near a few food spots which is also a plus. And it has a small playground for parents to take their kids to get a break from shopping and actually enjoy being a kid for some time. read more

I'm not a big outlets shopper, but I was pretty impressed by Tanger Outlets Lancaster. It is a huge development with many stores and ample parking. My husband needed some new clothes for fall/winter so we popped in on the way to our Airbnb in downtown Lancaster. The stores are only about ten minutes outside of the city, so very convenient if you're planning a trip there, anyway. On a Friday in the early afternoon, we had most shops to ourselves and it was easy to get around. I'd imagine that weekends are a lot more crowded. From Calvin Klein to Under Armour and even West Elm and Pottery Barn, so many brands are represented all in one place. read more

I've been to Tanger Outlet - Lancaster on several occasions and as far as outlet complexes go, find it one of the better. Though large, one of the redeeming factors of it is that it isn't too larger; nothing at all like Broward County Florida's Sawgrass which actually would take days to get through everything. Though it does become congested, parking usually isn't a problem and all of the outlet stores along with their facilities are orderly, clean and the area well kept. As for deals, I've found some rather good bargains especially at its standalone Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and its Harry & David. But as bargains change from day to day as well as from store to store, I'm unable to suggest any specifics. The big downside of Tanger, however, is if you want to enjoy a decent lunch or meal while shopping, you're pretty much out of luck as the only food services are Arby's, and Auntie Anne's Pretzel, a Subway and a Starbucks. So, on that count, Tanger is bummer which is why I've rated it Three Stars. read more

*This review is solely on the shoppers service office customer service. * Today my dad and I came in to pick up a shoppers coupon book and was treated very disrespectfully. There were two ladies working at the front desk , one is younger than the other with curly hair , the other one is much older. They seemed very annoyed as we walked in the door and when I asked for a coupon book the curly hair lady rolled her eyes and asked me if I were a VIP member or veteran or something else , I told her I signed up for email and is offered a free coupon book . She handed me the coupon book with her head tilted away and there was a sudden awkwardness . It was like a scene out of *orange is the new black * very disrespectful and lots of attitude. I believe during this pandemic, people employed should be grateful as there are millions of Americans unemployed and suffering . Regardless , this is not how you treat others especially when your job is customer service. read more

It's a hike for us to come here but I believe you get the best deals at this outlet center. It gets busy on a Saturday so we arrive early (right when they open) so we can score a great parking space. I can imagine it would be harder to park around lunchtime. The shops are almost like a horseshoe so it's easy to bring bags back to the car and keep shopping. They always have some type of promotion. This weekend was $5 card that goes to breast cancer (I believe) and you can use that card at most retailers for 25% off one item. The card is reusable. I definitely saved more then I spent. I like renting a hotel in the area because the outlets are empty around 6pm so it's nice to shop around 6-9pm as well. We will definitely be back. read more

We have shopped at Tanger Outlets in Lancaster PA for years and years. We didn't do a shopping trip here in 2020 due to the pandemic and we sorely needed new shoes, jeans, etc. There have been a number of changes since we were at Tanger Outlets in Lancaster Pennsylvania the last time which would have been in 2019. There were a number of new stores here that seem to have moved from the other outlet malls in the area. I don't remember Under Armour being here before it used to be at another outlet mall that was up the road a bit. Also a number of the regular stores are gone compared to our last visit in 2019. Parking spaces seem to be a hot commodity here as they need to add more parking. They seem to have built more buildings to house more stores. I never remember parking here to be an issue but it is now difficult to find a parking space. The outlet mall deals that they used to have here are all gone. Neither one of us bought anything at any of the stores. The stores here always had great deals and this time none of the stores had any kind of deal that was any better than buying at a regular mall store or department store. I will probably go back again if I happen to be in the area but I'm not going to make a special trip here again as the discounts and deals that would bring a shopper to an outlet mall seem to have dried up. As for positives this place is very neat and tidy. Everything is clean and everything is in great condition. They have public bathrooms but they are hidden it is easy to walk right by them. They need to add more parking spaces to go along with the increased number of popular stores because you have to drive around to find a parking space. And since we didn't find any deals that means that we didn't buy anything - so we saved a lot of money because we didn't spend any money at all here this time. Hehe. read more

Tanger is my go-to for clothing - J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Nine West, White House Black Market, Coach, Fossil. It's a dangerous, dangerous place. Those are just my favorites, but there is actually a great variety of stores for all different tastes. My nephews preferred Pac Sun, Converse, and Timberland; my mother-in-law shops at Dress Barn, Chico's, and Clark's; and my husband likes Eddie Bauer, Nautica, and Nike. We frequently go to the Sketchers store for my daughter's shoes, and when she was a toddler we were regulars at Osh-Kosh B'gosh. There are also a few housewares, jewelry, and fragrance shops, but you'll find a better selection of those type of stores at the Rockvale Outlets, a little further down Route 30. Also along Route 30, you'll find a variety of restaurant options - there are very few decent options within walking distance of Tanger, and a lot of chains. Tanger isn't nearly as sprawling as Rockvale, but it can be a decent walk from one end of the shops to the other. There are covered walkways nearly all the way around, and seating for when you need a break. There's also plenty of parking, though I feel like the lots could've been designed a little better. There are only two entries into the shops, and long lines can form at either end, particularly during the summer (tourists) and winter (holiday shopping) seasons. Be sure to stop at the Visitor's/Information Office to get your discount/coupon books before you start shopping. read more

This is arguably one of the worst Tanger Outlets I've ever been too. Prices are high and shop variety is low. If you'e a fan of high end purses, coats, shoes, etc., you're in luck. If you're like me and love bargain shopping... Steer clear. Parking spaces are a hot commodity. This place desperately needs more parking. Food options were also really lacking. Unless you want subway, go elsewhere. I spent over 2 hours here, and honestly couldn't wait to leave. I really fail to see the allure here, and that pains me to say because I love shopping... especially outlet shopping. I've been to much nicer Tanger Outlets. Stay away from the Ralph Lauren outlet here. This is not a store, but a dictatorship run by a nasty manager and his minions. If you're fully vaccinated and have proof, he will demand you wear a mask or he will show you the door. Happened to2 fully vaccinated people who have proof and who were going to spend some money there - myself and other half. I came here while on vacation to shop. There was a lot of construction but it wasn't in my way, everything was still easily accessible. The shopping center was very nice and had a good selection of stores. The only food place I saw was Auntie Annies Pretzels. I was very fascinated with the electronic advertisement boards/ touch screen maps. I thought that was neat and I had never seen them before at other Tanger Outlets. read more
