This was such a fun spot to walk around in during my vacation! It was a hot and humid day, so we were thankful for great AC in all the spots we toured. This village has a lot of fun and decorative local shops, they are on the pricier end as you would expect, so we didn't end up purchasing any products. If I was not on vacation, I would've been very tempted by the infused all olive oil store! read more

Kitchen Kettle Village is an entertaining little outdoor shopping area with a splash of Amish life. During our visit it was decked out for Halloween with scarecrows and fall decor. You could easily spend two hours here shopping around and enjoying the entertainment, like the one man band playing during our visit. A one time visit is only needed unless you came back looking for something specific. The Amish furniture store, Carriage House, is worth a visit to see the craftsmanship in their work, and maybe add a piece to your own home. Parking is easy, but be careful since the streets are narrow and the horse and buggies are all around. read more

This "village" has a wonderful selection of small shops and a few eateries. Double check the hours for the food, as some are not open all day. We were there in April so maybe the hours change seasonally. Quilt shops, jewelry, gifts, meats, cheeses and relishes, jams, pretzels, ice cream, candles, souvenirs, wine and many other fun things. They had several places to sit outside which is where we enjoyed our ice cream! Everyone was friendly the town has other shops and restaurants too, if you venture out from "Kettle Village". read more

I had heard many good things about this place, so I was very excited to see it, but sadly I was pretty disappointed. There are a few stores we enjoyed, but there aren't that many. You don't need more than an hour here unless you are going to browse in every single store. There is a Waltz Vineyard tasting room here as well, which is nice. The reviews on the restaurant there weren't good, so we skipped it. I prefer Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA... much bigger and nicer than this. read more

Lovely outdoor area filled with small boutiques and markets offering gifts and decorations for the holidays, festive snacks and treats, jewelry, pictured with Santa, homemade Amish jarred goodies like jam, salsas, and sauces, meat and cheese, and even wine tasting! We enjoyed the overall cheerful atmosphere and Christmas spirit! Great place to visit with your family if you're in the Lancaster area! read more

We watched YouTube videos on Pennsylvania. Who doesn't love Intercourse? You really need two full days of roaming and sampling to cover all 42 shops. They even have lodging on the property. Kettle Kitchen Village is open Monday - Saturday (9-5) and closed on Sundays. The Fall Shopping Package is offered for $45 at Kitchen Kettle Village. There are free give a ways at 9 stores (but not really free since you are paying for the privilege). I decided to spend my money at Cloverfields Handbags instead. I met the designer & she helped me find a bag. We enjoyed Lapps ice cream, Pappy's Kettle Korn and Pepperlane Fudge & Sweets. There are lots of unique gift items & souvenirs. There is so much food. The village is worth a visit. We enjoyed walking around. There is so much to see. We didn't even cross the street! Performers played music and provided entertainment at the main stage. We appreciated having places to sit while we ate food. Wear comfy shoes and bring some shopping bags or something to hold your goodies. ( I like the medium sized IKEA blue or cloth bags for lighter items & the small bag for heavy or food items). Bring zip lock bags too. I would love to return and stay in one of the lodging rooms. Even the parking lot (corn field) was beautiful. Employees will direct you where to park. Bring cash. Not everyone takes credit cards. read more

Another recommendation, from a patron at the diner, that I visited my first night in Lancaster, PA. After my two other stops and excersions to Turkey Hill; and Julis Sturgis; decided to check out Intercourse PA, and Kitchen Jettle Village. Intercourse, PA; up until I looked at a brochure in my hotel; and experienced the quaint shops, Amish and true meaning of the name. Look forward to return in future; as i had littke time, arrive at 430 pm; Fourth of July, when shops closed at 5. Did check out Old Country Store; the bakery and jam shop. Look forward to future return, perfect, friendly , welcoming customer service all around. read more

It's like stepping back in time and not just because it's quaint looking (which it is), it's the vibe. Everyone is friendly, kind and happy. There is something about the Lancaster area that is so special. Kitchen Kettle is no exception. It is full of lovely shops and great food items which make great items to bring home for friends and family at a great price point. Highly recommend the Double Chocolate cookies, the kettle corn, breakfast egg sandwich at the Harvest kitchen, Hot Mocha at the coffee shop. read more

Kitchen Kettle is a little village shopping area located in Intercourse, PA. It has a variety of shops and food places and the vibes are always so happy. Sometimes they even have live music playing in the courtyard to enjoy. One of my favorite shops is the Jam & Relish Kitchen. Growing up we would always visit Kitchen Kettle and this was the one place I'd be looking forward to going to. It has changed since COVID so they took out the sampling stations around the store but you can still sample the jellies at their sampling counter. If you're looking for a place to relax and do some shopping definitely check out Kitchen Kettle, they always have great deals going on! They have a huge selection of goods available to purchase! The service is always top notch and they have an information booth also available if you need assistance. There is a little goat petting zoo in the back of the parking lot that you can walk to. They have little feeding machines there if you want to feed them! Super cute to check out! read more

We drove over an hour and a half to attend the "Scarecrow Village" based on the ad on Facebook, was very disappointed. Not at all what I expected. Was a small spot with maybe 8-10 homemade scarecrows, nothing like the ad. Some stores were nice, people were very nice with the exception of the gentlemen whose dog took a dump in front of us and then just left it there. That's when we left Not a great time. read more

Such an adorable tourist experience at the shops in the Kitchen Kettle Village. We walked up from our vacation rental at 9:00 am to find all the shop owners opening up for the day. We made some snack selections from among the freshly baked cookies, Whoopie Pies, cheese curds and kettle chips. Great selections and all were beautifully displayed. The proprietor was so kind, something we experienced every where we went. Products were not cheap, but rather fairly priced! read more

I love a good village full of little shops (so does my significant other). We've been to a bunch located all over the northeast, but neither of us (at least in our adult lives) had ever been to Kitchen Kettle Village...until now! A trip here a few weeks ago amidst the freezing cold was a fun little experience filled with great shopping. Now the cold and the timing did curb some of Kitchen Kettle's options (no kettle corn from Pappy's), but most shops were open and still gave my wife and I a nice selection of places to peruse. KKV isn't necessarily as vast as other small shop areas like Peddler's Village or Olde Mystic Village, but the stores they feature felt very local and focused on things people would want to buy. Knowing this, the pricing of what you purchase was actually pretty reasonable which was pleasant to see. When walking through the village, you'll find a jam/sauce store, meats/cheeses shop, coffee, chocolate, olive oil, home decor, clothing, and a few other specialty storefronts. There's a couple of places to eat as well as a winery for those looking for a little libation action and an inn that you can stay at. It is also cool to see some influences and involvement with the local Amish community as several of them are working at certain shops (like that jam store). Nice. Overall, Kitchen Kettle Village definitely has the essentials when it comes to your quaint shopping needs. It may not be the largest location of small shops and like any place in the northeast the weather will affect it in the winter, but it's totally still worth a visit any time of year. Tack it on to your next Pennsylvania trip and you won't be disappointed (we weren't!). read more

Kitchen Kettle Village - Red and blush plus Gouda/ crackers - Shopping Centers Near Me - Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Ah, kitchen kettle village! I grew up coming here for years during trips to Lancaster and haven't been back in over a decade (almost 2!)... until now. I remember when the jam store had samples everywhere and it was such an exciting thing as a kid to wander around trying endless jams and crackers-- now the store seems bare and not nearly as exciting. There was also a place to decorate gingerbread cookies-- is that still a thing here? There used to be live music every time we would visit, and horse & buggy rides with the one same guy ("Anna... Bobby!!... *clicks tongue*"...) Im sure he's long gone now, but does anyone else remember him? I stopped here with my 4 year old during our visit and we had icecream and stopped in a few shops before they all closed (5pm)... it didn't have the same joy I remember it having! But we also aren't in "summer", so maybe the horses and buggies/music are more of a summer event? This review is for what I remember it being. My grandma used to love it here. read more

Excellent stop to walk around and check out all of the quaint shops. My daughter enjoyed the Jewelry Bar and the handmade store. I purchased a few things from the jams and jellies store. This place, even though it is in the heart of Amish country, gives off beach vibes. Hang in there with me on this as I explain. Most of you will understand what I am talking about if you have visited here or will intend to visit here. This place is setup looking like a boardwalk that you would find in a beachside town. One that you might find on the barrier islands of the Outer Banks in North Carolina, Virginia Beach area, and even the beached of Delaware. All shops offering items that are unique to the area, mostly all locally owned, and an atmosphere of walking, snacking, and browsing. When it is warmer, weather wise, it definitely has the beach vibe going. Or, if you don't like that analogy, it kind of feels like a flea market. But with new items in the storefronts. So much to offer and so much to interact with here. Nicer weather allows for outdoor entertainment which can be a musical performance. This place is just so lively that it is inviting. I really enjoyed myself here and didn't mind spending a lot of time just wondering around getting lost for the day. I ended up purchasing some items and spent time just enjoying myself. read more
