FIRST REVIEW FOR 2026! Noritake is a must go and check out…read morethe discount dinnerware. If you are like my daughter you entertain. My daughter is just like my mother in that regard. My Mother's favorite save for special occasions was the Noritake complete sets. We would get the cheap stoneware free place settings at Publix supermarkets after you spend a certain dollar amount. We each had every day free Publix sets in two different pretty stoneware patterns. My daughter just like my mother that entertained in the 1940's and beyond, she saves her fine dinnerware for company!! I Love my friend Michael's review and the memories he brought back. Word of advice: At discount stores there may not be full place settings. Also look for flaws in your selection. Otherwise enjoy!

I used to make fun of my mother in the 1970's for getting a free dinner plate with every fill-up at Exxon. Well, I'm no better. New year, new stuff as the saying goes. Enter Noritake, the venerable brand (established 1904 in Noritake, Japan) of fine porceline dishware. Beautiful modern design, quality glazing and they all match... what's a boy to do. Five stars for finally overcoming Exxon.

Recently went shopping here (been going to this location since the 1980's, was all good)...Wow,…read morewhere to begin? Walked in, started "browsing" (as the ladies say, lol). Had some questions, but no help...store clerks were busy folding clothes. So, I gave-up on that and just grabbed the pair of pants I came in for. Went to pay: Stood at register for an inordinately long time (clerks were still folding clothes, you see). Finally, counter help arrives, but she doesn't know how to ring me up as half cash/half gift card (had a little $ leftover on a gift card from a previous bad time at a Van Heusen in Tinton Falls-NJ...where clerks snapped at me for asking if they had my size in the back). Clerk finally gets help (from the "folding clothes lady")...and I'm good to go, right? Well, while walking out, I saw what I was looking for (my unanswered questions), but I was thinking "I need to come back another time, when things are running more smoothly." Grab the door handle to leave...ALARM goes off! The clerk never removed the security tag from the pants I purchased. Suddenly, I had lots of clerks around me (now you know how to get help there). Was the attention good? Well, not with the Amish girls who were shopping there, whispering and pointing at me...like "Das Outlaw" for violating the Ordnung, lol. Back to the register, where they finally removed the anti-theft tag. I'm thinking this is why retail is hurting and internet sales are booming. The poor shop owners...employees don't care if they sell anything. In fact, I would have spent at least double or triple what I did...but I felt like I needed to get out of there. Who says shopping is...FUN? (Should mention: One question I had was that many items were marked xx-percentage off...but no other price, except for the non-sale price. So, everything I picked-up I had to pull out my phone calculator...very few actual sale prices were posted).
