This Tanger is located Route 30 (East or West) on Lincoln Highway. This Tanger Outlets in Lancaster, PA is not a huge outlet mall, as noted accurately by fellow Yelper Dave L. There are high-end stores as Brooks Brothers, Movado, Kate Spade, Ann Taylor. Tanger is equipped with parking, and restroom facilities. Facilities are relatively clean. The store directory is obscured but my party walked to circle the grounds. There is also a printed store directory for grabs. Again, upon exiting the car the air had a high functioning stench of horse manure to heaven! The noisome odor emanating from the nearby unseen horse stables made it difficult for my party to enjoy the shopping experience, amid the dangerous excessive heat wave of Independence Day 2026 holiday weekend. I decently made the "Return" line for 30 minutes, after I took the time first, making the regular line to pay a couple of last minute purchases. There was only one lady returning before me, but for some reason she was having some issues that took forever. So I asked the cashier to take care of my return while the lady could solve her problem, or to ask another cashier to take my return right after attending another customer, -(tired of waiting more than 30 minutes in line for a 2nd time!!!)- and, he refused saying that I was more than welcome to make the regular long line again. Then I explained the whole situation to another employee, she spoke with the cashier that first took care of my purchase and, she also refused to take me right away, asking me to also do the line all over again for the 3rd time on the same visit!!! I am writing this review while my partner is driving me to King of Prussia. Again, for so many reasons I better invest my valuable time and energy going there, instead of dealing with INCOMPETENCE and LACK OF QUALITY ;)

A first time visitor to Nordstrom Rack store. After slowly picking a couple of hundred dollars…read moreworth, including a really comfortable pair of shoes, I finally found myself standing in line for more than 15 minutes along with 20 or so people. We all were watching only two woman at the registers. One woman was working on something, possibly getting a credit application. The sales woman having trouble with the machinery and the second sales woman moving bags, not waiting on the 19 of us. One customer decided to leave the store, leaving their items hanging o the display. It was another 5 minute if the two employees still working with the costumer and her credit application, then the ringing of the telephone started. Then it turns out that the dark haired woman was a manager, telling what turned out to be her trainee to answer the phone after at least 10-12 rings. The trainee listened, but absolutely didn't know the answer from telephone customer, and looked over at her manager, but the manager didn't want to help the phone caller. She was still dealing with the credit application customer. The line now had new line waiters, 22 now in line. It was then I too decided to leave the store. I didn't hang my items on the display, but I did move forward through the line and placed all my items on the counter by the telephone as I still watched the trainee having problems answer the questions without the help from her manager, who was still with the original customer and her credit application difficulties. As I walked out, I decided never again will I waste my time at this store. The thing was, the store was not busy on this Sunday afternoon. The bottle neck was at the check line with four or five registers, and two people supposedly working two of them. This entire time, not one sale was rung up. So off I went to Boscov's where I spend about the same without any delay at their checkouts. Mt Joy Shopper...

Just needed to run in and find a backpack but ended up with a few more items. They have so much to choose from, from brands like ed hardy, von Dutch and baby bliss. Finding a babyliss shaver that's originally $150 marked down to $49 was a major find. Overall, the store is very clean, organized and the customer service is great. The line was typical for that of TJ MAXX but it flowed well. Great pit stop, I may have to stop by again before the day is over!

I also am not a fan of their checkout process. Pros: Their housewares section is small but comparable to Home Goods in style and quality - in fact I think Home Goods is their sister store. I fell in love with Kathy Van Zeeland products after discovering a purse here years ago...if you have a name brand purse fetish do shop here. As of lately they have been getting some furniture pieces on the regular, including larger pieces like this tufted chesterfield couch I am in love with (see picture). Cons: Aside from the register I think the store needs to be kept up with better. Often you will find things out of place or on the floor. It's not that large or cheap of a store that they should have this problem on the regular. Prices are rather higher for some departments and not really a bargin. Clothes need better organization and that department overall is small. On the plus side - if you find something damaged, even if already marked down bring it to the manager's attention - they will give you 10% off but usually the register calculates 20% instead - score! To sum it up shop the highlights: furniture, housewares, fancier food products, clearance, purses Skip: clothes (all), beauty, toys, shoes (pri$ey!) DO walk back to the back and check every nook - this is where they hide the bargains.

I spent time with my son going through the books and games, staring at the googly-eyed Gollum sitting high on a shelf staring across the room at a steampunk glider. A creepy puppet hid in a small alcove around a dark corner near the gaming minis. Their War Room is creepy and delightful. I look forward to gaming there or refering it to the local coven for their new moon meetings. A colorful, smiling young person kept watch and helped guide folks looking for their own unique needful thing. In busy downtown, near the farmer's market, it was a welcome distraction with wands, swords, potions, sculpted pipes, candles, weird vibes and more. Definitely worth stopping in.
