Reading reviews that range from horrible to wonderful, I suggest prospective shoppers formulate…read moretheir own opinions. I personally find this shop interesting. I suspected, based on the area, there would be old and unique furnishings. And there is. I've recently downsized but if I was in the market for a hoosier -- there are at least four with flour mills -- or display pieces for my pottery, this would be the place. Prices vary, and logically are set by individual vendors. I saw two 1950s formica tables, both with chairs. One was $175, a very good price (in my estimation.) The other, pictured below, a fair amount more. There are three floors of merchandise. As said, a lot of furniture. What piqued my interest in the basement is a huge piece of stained glass. (Actually, I don't think it's glass, but it's old and looks like glass.) Originally priced at $400, on sale for $200. A person or business with just the right spot will get a deal. Anyway, if you're in the area and you like this kind of stuff, stop by. It can't hurt!

"Remember that the most valuable antiques are dear old friends."―H.Jackson Brown, Jr…read more We visited quite a few antique stores while visiting Lancaster County (a.k.a Amish Country). Not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but more out of curiosity. This was easily our favorite store out of the bunch. They had that typical Antique Mall setup, in which there's thousands of items from dozens of dealers spread across three gigantic floors. But it wasn't so much the quantity here as it was the quality of the goods just seemed a cut-above the other stores we visited. Beyond the goods, the venue itself (a restored tabacco warehouse) is neat and oozing in history. Service from the Amish lady running the cash register was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you're in the area to check them out for a fun few hours of poking around.

But I'm…read morenow here for a different purchase as I'm a few months into being a vintage reseller vs just shopping for myself and family. With my focus being different, it's changed my perspective on a few thrift stores that I used to just consider muh. So from a personal shopping perspective I stand by my original review. Clothing selection is minimal, more geared towards a more mature woman, but neatly arranged and of decent quality and organization. Kids items are also in short supply. As a reseller of vintage items I've found a few gems in the housewares selection, which is also small and limited but equal to the good sorting and organization as the clothing. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is always friendly. Often you can find dollar deal racks on the sidewalk. The hours are limited and not the most convenient for me. I recently discovered that the first Friday of every month is half price and this place gets packed! It's small and tight in some areas. The more I go the more I like this place, I just wish it was more convenient in hours and location. SIDENOTE: they do not allow you to use their restroom and direct you to Giant.
