The owner comes back and asked me if he can help me and I said no thank you I'm looking for a couple things and he stands there and stares at me and I said is there something wrong and he said is there and I said no and he said do you need help finding anything so I wanted these two ratchets and I'm looking at a couple other things and he said well I'm just watching you you look like you need to be watched and I pulled out the $450 some dollars in my pocket and said no I'm here to buy a few things and he said no you're the type that needs to be watched. I'm literally in the parking lot after buying the things I bought them at the register and he said thank you have a nice day and I said I highly doubt it now that I've been treated this way I cannot believe I was treated so rudely by somebody I'm not dressed poorly I have jeans and an American flag t-shirt on I don't understand what his problem was. Imagine if I was of color or from a different Nation. I would be very wary of using this business in the future. The staff have always knowledgeable and helpful, sometimes even taking the time to listen to me describe the small projects I've been working on and recommending the right tool or item needed to complete it. Yes, the store's stock isn't as big as those at Home Depot, Lowes or Ace Hardware down the road, but anything from the True Value website can be ordered and picked up at at this location. The prices here are comparable with the other hardware stores as well, especially when you factor in the cost of driving elsewhere. Plus the customer service you get here is priceless.

I had the replacement part and all the harware to reassemble the tractor which I gave the counter person when I checked in the tractor. The did install the part, but then they discarded all the other hardware and didn't reassemble the tractor. When I picked it up, they told me they would look for the other parts. After a few days they called back and told me that they didn't have the parts anymore. I asked them to look for them again, and when they called back a few days later, they told me they never received the other hardware. Avoid these guys, they don't take responsibility for anything.

Service Appliances... I called JB Zimmerman to repair the icemaker on my Bosch refrigerator. Candy…read moretook all of my information and set up an appointment. She was very accommodating regarding my schedule. She sounded genuinely happy to help (the way one should behave with every customer). On the day of the appointment Sean (Shawn?) came prepared with the necessary parts and got right to work. He didn't mind the kitty occasionally snoopervising. When he was finished he made sure the area was clean and advised what I should do if there were any future concerns. The ice started coming out within a few hours and has been great ever since. I wish I had called JB Zimmerman sooner because it's really hard to find an authorized Bosch service center in the area. I had contacted other service centers closer to my home but they were either unwilling or had poor ratings. Now I know who to call. Candy and Sean were both so friendly and polite. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. Note: I've not been to their hardware store but I would give their appliance repair maximum stars based on this experience.
