I watched and for an hour I did not see my dog. I called and was told by the woman, I was just about to call you, your dog did not pass the meet and greet. Their story was they put my dog in a crate so a new dog could enter and when they let my dog out he snapped at the new dog. All which was conveniently off camera. If this is all true why would they not call me right away? Why did they leave my dog in a crate for an hour? I was the one who called them. Horrible, my dog is now acting traumatized. Do not trust this business. I would have given it 0 stars if I could.

I bought Ollie for his scheduled appointment which I was so happy to be able to pick and choose my services for my fur baby online. For $65-70 , you get a lovely bath, groom, nails trimmed/cut, cute accessory, ears and teeth cleaning. This is a HUGE deal as many other grooming places charge so much higher prices for these same services. I immediately felt welcomed and reassured that my dog was in excellent and loving hands with the groomer that was there. She was very supportive, kind and truly an angel. Ollie did a wonderful job and there were no hesitations that we will be coming back very soon for his next appointment. If you live near Fishkill, I truly recommend this local grooming salon. They also have babysitting for your fur baby and the place is very welcoming for them too (room to play, no cages). :)

Being fairly new to the area I inquired on NextDoor if anyone had experience with a surgeon. The majority of the answers pointed us towards Dr. Paul McNamara with Hudson Highland Veterinary Group. Upon our first visit we quickly discovered Dr McNamara was surgeon for Dutchess County K9 dogs and has been awarded commendations for his years of dedicated service. He demonstrated a gentle approach towards Mia and quickly determined she had a luxtating patella that did require surgery. Our consultation was not rushed he answered every single question and you can imagine trusting our baby who is never had any issues prior was absolutely terrifying. Dr. McNamara was thorough and even sent us home with a video explaining the procedure and after care with regards to this particular surgery. They even took the opportunity to allow us to view the operating room and after the initial consultation,we knew that we had selected the best choice possible for our little girl. We arrived at7AM for her drop off and the team was easily reachable with the dozens of questions throughout the day and night. The next day Mia came home a little woozy but overall in good spirits. I hear a lot of owners saying the cone to prevent licking the stitches is stressful. The team here uses a Lick sleeve which was a pant leg that was fastened on the surgical leg to prevent her licking the incision. This made for a less stressful environment for all of us. Dr. McNamara, Colleen, Allison and Tara were super kind and supportive throughout the entire process. She is now 12 weeks post surgery and doing quiet well. We are thrilled with the outcome and would not hesitate recommending them in the future.

She came by house 3 times a day to walk and feed them. She hung out with them so they wouldn't be alone all day long. She even FaceTime my wife while she was with them to give a check in.
