100% saved my 6 week old chow chow from parvo. I chose the outpatient treatment regimen for her, which I was so nervous to do, but frankly couldn't fathom the high cost of inpatient care. The doctors and staff fully informed me on what I needed to do with all the medications and fluids they sent me home with. They educated me on additional options available and what to do for follow up care. This was the second time we've been here - the first time they saved my 10 month old chow chow after he ate sugar free gum. In both instances, they made sure I walked away feeling ready to take on any aftercare needs. I trust this place with my babies and know that, should something else happen, I will make the 45 min trip in a heartbeat to have them treated by the VEG staff.

    Saddie to the right

Well the outcome was not what we hoped for. Our Labrador (Saddie) had started to get sick on Sunday. We figured maybe she just wasn't feeling good. Monday night she was very bad to where she could not see bumping into walls and off balance. So we rushed her to this animal hospital. They ran tests on her and she had an ear infection middle ear. They sedated her cleaned out her ear and put some medicine in her ear. We took Her home and 2 hours later she was starting to whine cry and she has never been like this. She wouldn't respond to us and we knew it was now bad to where we had to take her back to clinic. They anted to try and change her medication which at this point our dog was suffering and it just wasn't right to put her through this much pain. The Dr was amazing and a very good Dr. Rhonda was her name and she respected our decision to place her in gods hands and to be with her brother. The staff was very polite and sincere. I wish animal hospitals were like human hospitals. Treat them no matter what. Thank You!

After my Shih Tzu was bitten in the head by a larger dog, I took him into Veterinary Emergency Group. They were recommended by Kennel Care, which is my regular veterinarian. After evaluating my dog Dr. Payton Bayless said that the his left eye was injured so badly that it needed to be removed. This of course was a shock, but I was comforted by a very nice vet tech Lynda Wittig through throughout the entire day. My dog and I received great care and compassion by this hospital. I was allowed to stay with my dog throughout the day and even after surgery, which was very helpful. They have some great people there and really love animals. Haven and Sydney at the front desk were quick to react and we were attended to immediately. Thank you all for making this horrifying day a little less painful.

Happy holidays to all at VEG clinic iChandler, AZ. Our cat Dolly(Mr. Dolly Parton), Woke up sick and we were worried sick. I did a Google search and found a VEG clinic very close by. I called in and was on the phone with a very professional, knowledgeable, caring individual immediately. We talked about our situation and decided to bring him in straight away. A team member greeted us at the door! The team made us feel so welcome and comforted i could feel our energy take a big sigh of relief. The team swooped in and got to work on our Lil guy. Anna, my daughter, and I felt confident that we were in the right place. Most importantly, Dolly felt better too! After the visit they helped us with our bill. We are going thru a financially hard time and they were fabulous and so so generous with us. On top of all this the clinic is Top Notch! Very spacious, clean, classy and have a yummy selection of complimentary snacks and beverages. The coffee/latte/espresso machine is soooo fancy! Lol I will ALWAYS go back to VEG, for all our loved ones needs. Ive got one child, Anna, and Dolly is a grandchild to me! THANK YOU VEG. BTW, Dolly is eating and came out of the corner and started cuddling like his normal self.

We initially called them when we were headed their way, to get their thoughts, and did appreciate them giving us some insight on the phone. We opted to stop in to be on the safe side. It was a bit quieter this time around, so we were able to get in a room right away and seen relatively quickly. It was a very much a "Got to rule out the options" type situation that required a bit more guesswork. Based on the initial intake, they recommended a blood panel, a SNAP panel (bloodwork specifically for ticks), X-rays and possible CT. We decided to start with the bloodwork, to minimize putting our dog through more procedures than necessary. They also have a relatively quick turn around time of 20-30 minutes for the results, making it easy to proceed if necessary. The tech we spoke with was nice, but a little brisk and not super helpful which inquiring on the next steps/options. She did mention a CT may be required and was helpful in getting prices and options for same day if needed. We did get the blood work results back, about an hour later, and Dr. Robinson came to speak with us, with a good news, bad news sitch. He had gotten an infection from a tick and his body was having trouble clotting and fighting it off, hence the nosebleed. She did a great job explaining and laying out all the details. Luckily, it was in the treatable phase and she ran through the prescriptions and care that would be required and let us know they would bring back the medication and Roni shortly. About an hour plus later...they bring him back, His nose had not stopped bleeding the entire time! Not their fault, it was uncontrollable, and they attempted, but was just not really treatable. We ended up spending about 4 1/2 hours there, most of that time which was not with our dog. All the initial exams and what not I understand, but getting the results and talking to the doctor, and still waiting another hour after the fact, seemed longer than necessary and we just felt bad for our pup, because we would have rather been with our dog waiting, then him in the back while waiting alone. A few other key details: It's $190 regardless for your pet to be examined, which you need to pay up front. Any other services, you pay for if you decide to proceed. They have two entrances, one for cats and one for dogs. it leads to the same space, but has separate sides to the same counter which is nice. The Dr recommended Nexgard (Tick treatment), which they do not have onsite, we had inquired if we could order from Chewy digitally, they said yes, but turns out they cannot. They do send home a paper prescription, but something to keep in mind or double check on. Overall, very grateful they figured out what was wrong and took care of him. The space was clean and staff was overall friendly. Their prices seem reasonable as well. A bit more communication would have been appreciated, especially regarding time, or at least updates so we knew he was okay and maybe a bit more guidance on what treatments make the most sense. They do a great job and though I hope you never need to go to the emergency vet, they are a great 24 hour accessible options.

They failed to inform me of any risks, alternatives, or the prognosis of the treatment. They lied on the report several times falsifying what happened so they could be unaccountable. This place did not care about the consequences of taking a life nor what it does to a family after the fact. Sirena was a victim and this will happen again unless you don't give them the chance. My Sirena was with me everyday for 4 years and trusted me to take care of her and I let her down going to this place. She deserved better! It breaks my heart reliving being at Gilbert Queen Creek emergency veterinarian and specialist center. I know Sirena would be alive today if I had gone elsewhere. Took him to another emergency clinic close by and everything seemed fine. A few days later, he was acting off and took him back to that clinic and he was out on some pain meds for some spinal tenderness. Neither the emergency clinic or I noticed (even after examining him pretty thoroughly) that he had a puncture wound on the side of his jaw. Long story short, went back to that clinic today because I found him soaked in a weird bloody liquid oozing from his face and it was going to be a 4 hour wait. Figured I'd call VEG and see what their wait was and they told me to come right in and they would take care of him. Before I even got to the door, there was a VEG employee standing there to take us immediately back. I didn't even have time to look at the lobby... just straight back and immediately being looked at. Not going to lie, I didn't research VEG much since I was in immediate action mode... walking into the open concept emergency room was a little shocking. However, the care that the staff and doctors took was... beyond what I could have imagined. For what would be an agonizing amount of time where any other clinic would have taken him to the back, I was able to stay with him the entire time... even when they were working on him and cleaning up the wound I was holding him. While I don't want to say I loved the experience... I will say I loved the care and attention that every VEG employee showed. It was honestly worth every penny to bring him to VEG to be treated today. I felt like they really had his best interest at heart. I would highly recommend VEG to anyone who is in need of emergency care. The open concept can take a moment to get used to, but I think you'll find it to be far more comforting than if you were just left waiting somewhere while your pet was taken away from you. Thank you VEG. -Jonathan and Tannin
