Rowe getting an IV - so calm

Vanessa at EVE was unbelievable. Me and my golden retriever were helped immediately in the staff was extremely helpful and caring. My dog can have a hard time in stressful situations and they made her feel so welcome and safe. I cannot say enough good things about this spot. Not to mention affordable!!

Do NOT COME HERE!!!! My dog was attacked by a German Shepherd yesterday he is a 15 pound Chihuahua mix. I looked to find the closest vet and I saw this one had good reviews idk how! The vet exam was $190 and they had him in the back for only a few minutes to do the exam and when she brought him in the room, she only said he had two superficial bites that everything else was fine. The main reason I brought him in was because he was extremely sore on his rib cage and would go to bite me when I touched it which he doesn't ever try to bite me. I had to tell her about this myself and I was wondering, what kind of exam did you do back there? The girl came in the room had me pay the bill handed me some papers did not go over one thing with me and I walked out the door. Later in the day, I realize a chunk of my dog's ear was missing, and he had a bite wound on the back of his tail. That was my bad for not noticing that sooner but I was attacked by the dog as well and was in shock. Again, why didn't the vet notice this if I'm paying $200 for an exam? How come these things were not noticed by someone (A VETERINARIAN) who was supposed to notice this first and foremost over me who is in shock and traumatized from what happened? Then today the next day after the incident, I noticed my dog hadn't barked and he's normally a barker but then later on in the day, he went to go bark as even though he's been resting as much as possible he is a high energy dog and wanted to play with his toys. I tossed his toy, maybe 3 feet in the house and he went to go bark and yelped and then I called the veterinarian to ask about that situation. The lady that answered the phone was completely rude and incompetent and gave me a complete attitude about everything "I was doing wrong" and saying that I was told for him not to play in any manner when I was at the vets office. I was never told one thing I was only given paperwork and on the paperwork it says no rough playing with my other dog which I understand. She told me to bring him back in for ANOTHER EXAM and I brought up why I wouldn't bring him back in because of the horrible exam the first time. She said she would talk to her supervisor and get back to me. They then proceeded to send me a text message, calling ME the wrong name and calling my dog a SHE when it's a boy dog. This place doesn't know what they're doing. I would not come back here if it was free.

The team at EVE is so kind. The facility is clean and quiet. I am so grateful for the effort they made to try to save our 15 year old cat, Percy. Thank you!

I was here Friday night with my dog. They were able to see him right away and took care of him. He was in pain from an issue with his back. Very compassionate staff. They asked detailed questions about him and actually listen to my responses. They got him a pain shot right away to help him while we talked to figure out what happened. They kept me updated the whole time. I hope I never have to visit another ER vet again (wishful thinking!) but this will be my only stop. They were excellent!

THEY SAVED MY DOGS LIFE! My Doberman got Bloat (GDV) and rushed to the nearest facility that was unable to perform the surgery. They called 12 emergency facilities that were unable to perform the surgery. EVE Pet Hospital was the 12 call they made (wish it was the first. We rushed over there and they brought her back immediately and saved her life! The entire process was painless for us as we were waiting to bring our pup back home! They gave us continuous updates/pictures and cared for my pup as if it were there own! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVE Pet Hospital!!

But I'm writing this review for the other day when I noticed his increase in respirations. Moose was swiftly taken care of. Dr Kogan was relatable, kind, calming, patient and thorough during an extremely emotional time. I also need to shout out the receptionist (sorry idk your name!) for juggling multiple emotional humans with their fur babies with ease. Her responses could easily escalate a situation but she handled all of them with care. After Moose came home I could literally smell the love all over him from being hospitalized the night before. He surely did not lack in attention while away. The entire care team are professional, caring and get the job done. I can't thank you enough, it will never be forgotten. Moose is better now and we will appreciate our time with him. I have been in the medical field for 12 years and can testify this team is top tier. Thank you.

Read the reviews I'm not the only one who has had this experience. A man had to bury his best friend in one. A woman almost lost her kitty in another, took them to court and a judge ruled the vet was not fit for practice suspended license for a year. Read the reviews. Almost a quarter of them are the same thing. Sirena's life was taken because they failed to run appropriate tests including xray to determine and diagnose. They lead to her getting worse not better and then administered incorrect dosage for sedation and pain management leading to death. They failed to properly supervise her under anesthesia. They failed to inform me of any risks, alternatives, or the prognosis of the treatment. They lied on the report several times falsifying what happened so they could be unaccountable. This place did not care about the consequences of taking a life nor what it does to a family after the fact. Sirena was a victim and this will happen again unless you don't give them the chance. My Sirena was with me everyday for 4 years and trusted me to take care of her and I let her down going to this place. She deserved better! It breaks my heart reliving being at Gilbert Queen Creek emergency veterinarian and specialist center. I know Sirena would be alive today if I had gone elsewhere. Crystal the hospital director called 5/1/26 offering 300$ "on the books" saying they could have done better. I will never go back to Gilbert queen creek emergency veterinarian. I was shocked she would even insinuate that I would. The grief of losing Sirena and having conversations with these people mentally and physically takes a toll on me. If Sirena was given critical care, the right care from the right specialist, she would be alive today.

Every month, we get multiple emails from Allivet, telling me that they are not getting responses to their faxes. Last month, after the 9th attempt email, I called Banfield and they couldn't provide an answer as to why the vet wasn't processing the request. They finally did. This month, after the 3rd attempt email, I decided to call early and try to get the ball rolling. The first person I spoke to asked me to confirm the fax number and if correct, call back and ask for the practice manager. I did and the number was correct, so I called back and got put through to "Jessie". Jessie answered, looked me up in the system and explained that our script couldn't be filled until dog got updated bloodwork. Not thrilled about spending more money on bloodwork, I challenged the assertion, to which she replied that is was AZ state law. Ok, so be it. Still not thrilled, but it is what it is. I then asked why, instead of just continuing to reject prescription requests, they don't inform the customer, saving us time and frustration. At that point, Jessie simply hung up on me. This was her way of dealing with an unhappy customer. I wasn't yelling, swearing or being offensive. I'm sure it was clear that I wasn't happy about how things were going, but it was a completely calm and professional conversation. If an individual can't carry on a professional conversation with a frustrated customer, then this person is in the wrong position. We'll be finding a new location/provider for our dogs' care moving forward.

The staff though is truly what makes them stand out! They always greet my pets by name with warm and welcoming smiles. They consistently provide the highest standards of quality medical care and ALWAYS take the time to ensure I have a full understanding of any/all diagnostic tests and treatments being recommended and performed and why. I have never felt rushed or dismissed by anyone working here, and I have never felt pressured or judged if the cost wasn't within my budget - they always have empathetic responses and other options to still make sure my pets leave in better condition then they arrived. It's so clear how much they genuinely care about each of their patients and clients as well. They truly deserve so much praise (and also probably a raise) for all they do, as I can only imagine how challenging, complex, and emotionally taxing, working in veterinary medicine probably is. But this team ALWAYS has such a warm and welcoming positive energy about them and I couldn't be more grateful to have found this Banfield location! Even the practice manager makes sure to pop in to say hi and check in on me and my fur babies whenever I'm there, even just for drop off routine appointments - I think her name is Amanda (I apologize if I'm incorrect with her name), but it's obvious that she cares about her staff members and clients, just as much as each of the patients. Normally I'm not a fan of corporate veterinary practices, but this location is special and deserves to be recognized for it!

Unfortunately, my late, sweet angel of a Bichon Frise has recently passed, however it was extremely helpful to have brought her here to this facility to understand more in depth the severity of her medical issue. Not only is the staff here so friendly and empathetic, they are also punctual, efficient and very honest. My dog sitter ended up taking my dog here one night while we were out of town to deal with her chronic vomiting. The vet caring for her that evening spoke with me directly over the phone to go over treatment options. I thoroughly appreciated her honesty. I ended up having to take my dog back here one night a few weeks later due to the vomiting starting up again and her primary vet also suggested what she's going through needs to be handled at an actual animal hospital. This second visit was just as efficient and also they were kind enough to waive certain fees due to us returning back to them in such a short amount of time. I also like the fact that we're able to use payment plan options via Affirm. That was extremely helpful for me during this previous emotionally tumultuous season. He'd had a full check up within weeks and actually was at VEG about a month before for an unrelated GI issue. We had unfortunately been to several other emergency vets before making it to VEG, as we were out and about when the crisis started. I also had my little pug with me as getting care for my Great Dane was a bigger priority than taking her home. Once again the staff at VEG surrounded us with compassionate care. Nothing could have changed the outcome of the day but I am so grateful that at every moment the VEG staff was working to save my dog and caring so much for all of our comfort. They immediately got several large beds and a blanket for him to lie down and offered me a cushion. They handled him with love and checked on us in so many ways. And they tried. At one point we had something like 6 people working to stabilize him and everyone was focused and on task. I felt they worked on him not like a job but as if he was their own. I know its hard to work on a holiday and I know his death was emotional for everyone. But thank you all because at least I was with him to the very end and he knew he was being cared for. Being able to be with your dog throughout care is such a meaningful difference in the veterinary industry and in both owners and pets experience with vet care, and I feel like VEG always has such caring people. Thank you, though honestly have to say I'm hoping to see you all less in 2026.
