It often felt like the nicer the place looked, the less they actually cared about the pets. Because of that, I gave up and kept paying the ridiculous vet prices in San Diego... until I simply couldn't take it anymore. Thank God I found Club de Nana on Yelp. After reading all the great reviews (and yes, they're REAL), I decided to give them a chance, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The entire staff truly cares about every pet that comes in. They don't see animals as $$$ signs, they listen, they explain, and they care about your fur babies. My first green flag was seeing multiple pets being cared for behind the front desk, literally hanging out freely instead of being locked in cages, I absolutely LOVED THAT!! There are no appointments, you just wait your turn. I've been there four times, and only once did I wait for my turn about 15-20 minutes. Every other visit was less than 5 minutes. The clinic looks like a house from the outside, so parking is limited, but even then I only had to wait about 10 minutes once. I took my 7-year-old pittie because he was bleeding while peeing. They ran different tests, diagnosed him with an enlarged prostate, and recommended surgery (neutering). It's now been 11 days since he got surgery at El Club de Nana, his stitches are out, the bleeding is completely gone, and he's happier and has so much more energy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the doctors Lulu and Francisco, and the staff at Club de Nana. I have my healthy, happy boy back, and I couldn't be more grateful .

Groomers and myself have a hard time trimming them, because shes had a bad experience and ever since it's been tough. They told us to come 09/01 to bring her in for her cleaning. We bring her and front desk told us she'll possibly be done by 3pm. We get a call that there were other pets that had emergencies. We completely understand, but now she'd be done or out by 6-7pm. This entire process took us 12 hours. While her being under anesthesia would be the best outcome for a dog since they wouldn't be moving, they did not care AT ALL about her quicks. I understand that vets/vet techs are challenged with dark nails. But nails were shaven down extremely too short and uneven. She bled on all her nails. It sucks for those who also had a bad experience, everything in front desk felt absolutely rushed. We were speaking to too many different people at a time. Im also unsure if they treated her well during her dental cleaning if this is what her nails look like. I haven't gotten to look at her teeth yet since she's been exhausted after her appt yesterday. I will probably update, or not. I'm not returning to this place.

They were able to give me an appointment on the day I wanted which was short notice so I appreciated that. The staff was very friendly. I did not actually meet the vet which I thought was a little strange. They took my dog to a back room and did the biopsy. I was in and our in under 1.5 hours and they were able to vaccinate my dog too since he was due for one. They called me with the results in less than a week and they also emailed the report to me. Luckily, no treatment is necessary. I will be back to this place if the need arises.

Left home at 8:30 and Crossed the border from Otay Ranch and arrived at the clinic around 9:10am. We were #15 already in the line. Clinic is pretty busy, so please be prepared and be patient. Pet was seen arpund 10am and was given instructions to come back at 4:30pm. Heading back to CV at 10:30 am was a breezy 45 minutes drive. Went back at 3:30 pm, arrived around 5:15 due to traffic at the border and in downtown TJ. They did amazing with the oral prophylaxis and our pet ended having 6 teeth pulled. Left the clinic around 5:15 pm and areived at Otay Ranch via 125 around 7:15pm. Young vet spoke great English and exlained everything thoroughly. Paid $200 deposit and remaining $ paid at pick-up. They also groomed my pet with little boss, free of charge. They said they donit as part of their service since some dogs get blood on their faces so they want them clean when picking up. When we arrived, the clinic director, Victor suddenly changed the price to 4,500 pesos, claiming the "regular" price was 5,000 and we were already getting a deal. Even after showing the phone calls dates and times as proof, he refused to honor it. Then, when I confirmed gas anesthesia was included, he added another 250 pesos despite us being told twice beforehand that it was already part of the package and said it would be $300 cash. So clearly pesos would be cheaper so at the payment time, we offered to pay the agreed total in pesos, 4750= $271 but he suddenly insisted we owed $300 USD and showed us we signed the agreement to pay $300. The pricing kept changing throughout the visit, which felt extremely dishonest and unprofessional. They also only accepted cash or Zelle, which added to the concern. Overall, the experience felt misleading and left us feeling taken advantage of. We won't be coming back here.

At this veterinary clinic (daycare), they handed my dog back to me absolutely filthy, smelling of urine and feces - worse than a stray dog. When he was subsequently bathed at the other facility, they sent me photos showing that his paws were burned; this was caused by prolonged exposure to urine and feces. Had I allowed the daycare to bathe him, I would never have discovered his injuries or realized the poor standard of care to which he had been subjected. All of his hair had to be cut off because he had feces stuck to it.
