The team was about as professional as can be. I had organized gurney transport for my very ill mother from our home to the hospital. The pickup team came in their trademark outfits and did a very professional pickup from the house and dropoff at the hospital. And MOST importantly, they were extremely kind and compassionate. My only feedback is that for gurney/medical transport, it might make sense to put the team in scrubs or something similarly comfortable (like the EMTs wear) since the ties, crisp white shirts and vests get in the way of the transfers, they really stick out in the hospital or clinic, and are fairly distracting. Lots of people kept staring at the team and asking a million questions about who they were as opposed to getting mom admitted into the hospital. read more

the company I work for had used VRS for shipping for several months. They were bright, enthusiastic, and eager to do the right thing. We had a delivery of windows for the Santa Barbara area. They tripped over themselves repeatedly on timeliness and detail. But that is okay. Mistakes happen. What matters is what you do from there. Unfortunately, when delivering to this project, the driver had headphones on and must not have been paying attention. The driveway was a dirt driveway, lined with several large oak trees. he drove at a high rate of speed and hit a thick tree branch. The branch was ripped off the tree and there was damage to the box truck top. VRS was apologetic to us and assured that they would be responsible for any damage. Luckily, none of the product had significant damage. Due to some other delivery problems, our relationship with VRS ended. I've just found out that VRS is going after the homeowner for the damage to their truck. Mind you, this driveway has had countless deliveries in the course of this home being built. This is the only guy to drive through a tree. The homeowner was willing to let the severe damage to her tree, which was significant, pass. But now VRS is going after the homeowner demanding she pay for the damage to the truck. This is absurd on every level. Mistakes happen and are only made by people who are working. But going after a homeowner for their own bone-headed mistake is dishonest and immoral. I advise to stay away from this organization. read more

These guys rock. I used them to ship 3 arcade machines from anaheim to sylmar. They were first in line at pickup and delivered them faster than I could of ever hoped for. The trucks they drive have the large 7' liftgates (7x8), usually these are only found on studio trucks and in past times I rented one to move something 60" wide, from now on these guys have my business, I mean all of it! VRS did a spectacular job at 1/3 the price quoted to me by United Van Lines. I've moved several times and it's always a pain because something almost always goes wrong, but the professional, honest, committed, and hardworking team at VRS goes out of their way to minimize friction and get the job done. When a hotel abruptly cancelled my move team's booking without warning, my 6AM load time was pushed back nearly 10 hours. Chris was up at 4AM to communicate this to me, and explored every option to solve the problem and expedite the move. Chris ultimately got the job done and his team did a great job. VRS even covered the extra costs I incurred as a result of the unforeseen delay.
