When going thru their gate keeping process of on line txt qualification you get their response of " Would love to Help You" BUT NEED TO KNOW if you are the owner, home address, when you purchased the property, and IF when the property was built.! Somewhat frustrated by the waste of my time, I called directly and got a connection to a gal that sounded like she was on a 1941 sat phone informing me they did not service the area I was needing service in. Unrealible and overpriced. We hired them twice: the first time to inspect an electrical panel for a humming noise which was downplayed when in fact it was a massive fire hazard due to improper wiring; the second time to install an outlet for a dishwasher which cost hundreds of dollars for a few minutes of basic work. I really feel this company overcharged. The owner claimed parts were expensive and impossible to get, and charged premium price for installing four double circuit breakers in our panel. But I later found the same items at Home Depot (photo). Also charged $100's too much for inserting four little tags to cover the blank spots where CB's had been removed. My wife send me a message while I am at work that the chest freezer in the garage is not working. This is no good as we have a whole lamb and a lot of other food in there. I got home and figured out that the outlets were not working, I used a cord to plug it in to a working outlet, as resetting the breakers did not fix the problem. Called around and they were the only one to answer. The lady on the phone (apologies cannot remember name) asked a few more questions and asked if I had reset the rci (i think), I had not seen it so no, but after digging behind ever piece in the garage was able to find the outlet that had it behind a shelving unit the previous owners had put in and was hiding it. Not reliable. Seems to be unprepared and easily overwhelmed with his job. I used him twice. The first time I received sassiness and complaining before I did the work. The second time he seemed to not want to do the work and pawned us off to another electrician. Veterans, don't be fooled by the name. Shawn is knowledgeable, respectful and fair. He came out to switch my old baseboard heaters and thermostats for cadets with new thermostats. He is very particular on how he writes his invoices which makes them thorough and accurate- no surprises. We ended up hitting a small snag with placement but he was able to think outside of the box and find the best solution (not just the easiest).
