Very bad experience…read more Movers were 20 minutes late. Then they had no mattress/box spring covers as promised when i got the quote. I had bought some originally when going to move by myself without movers but then wanted to return them since i had to book movers and they were to provide but they didn't have any so had to use my own (extra $20 out or my pocket). I was literally moving just across the street and had only a few things to move --- a bed, 2 bedside tables, dresser, standing desk, 0 boxes bc had moved everything else myself already. Out of those few things they moved- they damaged my wood bedside table (part of a matching set so now can't use both of them) and damaged my bed frame. I have pictures of both the day before with no damage which proves they did the damage to both. Also keep in mind i only used 2 hr of the 4 minimum i had to book with them. So they only had to work half the time and move a few items and still those few items got damaged just from moving them to an apartment building next door. They offered me $60 for the damage, i felt i was owed at least $200 discount but all they would come up to was $100 off. Do NOT recommend. Wish i had just finished my move myself without hiring the movers at all

Origin crew was great-managed well but a lot of guys and not so intuitive - Sales agent was correct on his communications up front and quote was accurate and moderate. Only issue was customer service didn't do a great job communicating with us or driver. Sales knew we would need a shuttle but no one told the driver until I talked to him on Friday before the Sunday move. We kept looking for updates prior and got... crickets. We had to chase communications last 2-3 weeks. But destination crew made up for entire process. Willy, Adrian and JJ - a small crew for our 3400 sq ft home plus garage, were so professional and calming. Our new house at 4,000' altitude with a difficult driveway- one single door for 3 stories and no garage- so our tools and garage cabinets had to go to the bottom floor- these 3 handled every step with poise like I've never seen. And they weigh probably 380lb between all 3 of them- amazing ballet of moving we witnessed, with smiles and light hearted humor- these 3 took a normally crazy stressful process and made it painless and a pleasure. My wife and I were so happy during and at the end of the move- can't this team enough!

During my move, my garment steamer was broken, and three stair steps in my home were damaged due to improper handling and lack of protective coverings. A box labeled "Purses," containing items valued at approximately $5,000, never arrived. A sculpture was also initially reported missing and later claimed to have been found on a different truck, which is concerning since my contract stated all belongings would remain on the same truck throughout transit. Additionally, the damaged garment steamer was removed by movers without my knowledge or permission. I am also concerned about the supervisor's behavior during the move. He made inappropriate comments and flirtatious remarks that made me uncomfortable. He also suggested employees may have stolen my purses, gave me his personal business card offering independent services, and made comments about tipping that added to the discomfort of the situation. Overall, this experience involved property damage, missing valuables, questionable handling of my shipment, and unprofessional conduct. I trusted Bekins with my belongings and expected professional service, but that expectation was not met. Be careful !! They are the most unprofessional people I've ever had to deal with. They try to act like they're honest, but they aren't--at least not the crew I got, including the supervisor, who in my opinion is the worst of them all.
