After spending nearly 45 mins with U-Haul customer service to sort it out, they called the manager to see if they could open the lock box and they said they were not in the area to resolve the issue. I had no other choice than to go anther U-Haul location 35 mins away because it was the only other location that had the van I needed. This is terrible customer service, I rely on these rentals for my event planning business, it is my livelihood and if I can't rely on my transportation rental, I let my customers down and it would affect business reputation. Thank goodness there happened to be another van available last minute. This is truly unacceptable! The store should have measures in place to avoid these situation and come through for their customers, like a person on call or an additional lock box with an extra key.

I'm glad I called Portable AC Rental first during a recent AC and elevator outage. I didn't realize…read morethe elevators were also on the fritz until just before my AC unit was delivered. He was kind enough to carry the AC unit up four flights of stairs to the 3rd floor. Good thing I rented one of their smaller models. Being partially disabled, I was very appreciative of Portable AC Rental's willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done. You don't find that every day. Not only was my rented unit delivered within an hour, he set up the unit right where I wanted it. It's cooling my condo as I write this, and I can already feel the difference its making. I made the right call to the right place, making me a very happy person. If you find yourself in need of temporary Air Conditioning, I feel very comfortable recommending Portable AC Rental.

Most unprofessional sketchy lying moving company. DON'T USE THEM! JOKE OF A COMPANY!…read more I paid extra for supplies and I got used boxes that had sand and dirt in them. Was told I would get wardrobe boxes and that was missed until the day of the move they brought them. I then had to tape garbage bags in the boxes so my clothes wouldn't get dirty... paid an extra $350 for what reused dirty boxes. The packing took the team 4 hours the day prior to only find out they didn't pack my spices cabinet and my brand new weighted blanket is missing... Dwight said he would work with me to settle it and now it has been days and I haven't heard from him. Company lies and steals. Now I am out $360 on my new weighted blanket. Bunch of cowards. Oh ya they showed up in a U-Haul no company vehicle... Also not to mention the poor packing done by the team multiple things broken. My plant and disco ball... no care whatsoever dirt all over my items because they packed plants in with other things. I also have a king sized bed, very expensive and that was even put together very poorly and now I am calling another company to come put it together. This company is a complete joke and was the worse possible experience to only cost me more money in the end with things missing and broken. You will thank me later do not use this company.

From the start, their customer service was like no other moving company I had been in contact with for our move. Nirva was my point of contact throughout the entire process and not only would she answer my emails promptly (lightening speed), but she answered each and every one of my questions and always made sure I was clear on every detail of the move. All moves can be stressful, but moving across the country takes it to another level. We moved from South Florida to Northern California and received our shipment in just 13 days from the pick-up date! I was very pleased/impressed with how well they wrapped our furniture items. Only 2 items from our bedroom set took a minor hit, on the corner of our dresser and bed, but for a cross-country move it could have been a lot worse. On the day of delivery the 2 movers were very nice and prompt as well, they quickly assembled the furniture that required assembly, cleaned up all the tape and other packaging debris left behind and were on their way. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the service we received and their price was truly the best! Thank you Forward Van Lines! What you can look forward to with Forward Van Lines: * Great Customer Service * No hidden fees * Easy/flexible scheduling for pick-up/delivery * Amazing pricing

RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!…read more They had ME, a SENIOR WOMAN, packing my apartment while the young strong guys "held" boxes; the foreman stole a brand new pair of sneakers from the box in my living room that I'd purchased the previous day to wear on the plane - I marched down to the truck and demanded them back. He said he "thought I didn't want them". This was the JOB FOREMAN! He also helped himself to clothing "for my girlfriend". I was so fed up I let him take things. Of the 3 to 4 guys who showed up, they wouldn't pack everything (asked, "what do you want to take from THIS room" in every room they entered. It's an OUT OF STATE MOVE! WTAF?) so half my stuff was left behind in an out-of-state move. They then held my stuff for THREE MONTHS, lord knows where, or WHY, before I FINALLY got it, and when it FINALLY came some furniture was COMPLETELY MISSING and some was DAMAGED. It was the ABSOLUTE WORST packing and delivery EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I'd rather them -5 stars if it were possible. ** SPEND MORE MONEY AND HIRE PROFESSIONALS - you get what you pay for.

I get there walk in and ask for Zac and they tell me he is not there and someone else takes over from that point and tells me the signs are not ready and I'll have to be back at 4. Apparently they had printed one and it came out bad so they were working on that one still and hadn't started the next one. I go back and I will say they were kind enough to show me how to set them up (which I've never done before) and send me on my way.
